CVE-2026-89775 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-16 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Handle negative S1 walk levels in VNCR TLB size evaluation Computing the effects of a TLB invalidation involves looking at the size of the mapping cached by the TLB. For S1 mappings such as VNCR, this is deducted from the combination of the base granule size and the mapping level. However, this implies that the S1 MMU is *on*. When the MMU is off, we indicate this with the level being set to a "creative" value of -127 (S1_MMU_DISABLED). This ends-up being misinterpreted by pgshift_level_to_ttl() as it doesn't handle negative levels at all (the level is immediately cast to a u8 and only the bottom two bits considered), leading to an invalidation size of 0. Not helpful. Tidy-up pgshift_level_to_ttl() to handle these negative levels, and ttl_to_size() to always return SZ_1G when no valid TTL is present. This allows the removal of open-coded checks for similar situations. Note that the check for a negative value not explicitely checking for S1_MMU_DISABLED is deliberate, so that actual negative levels introduced with LVA2 and D128 can take the same path if we ever support them.
CVE-2026-73464 2026-09-16 8.8 High
On affected platforms running Arista EOS with gRPC Network Management Interface (gNMI) enabled, a specially crafted request could allow a malicious authenticated client with gRPC Network Management Interface (gNMI) access to execute arbitrary code with root privileges on the switch.
CVE-2026-85501 2026-09-16 5.3 Medium
Novel vulnerabilities to launch algorithmic complexity attacks on DNSSEC have been researched under the term 'ReTrap'. These result in degradation of service when malicious zones are used to serve the algorithmic complexity vulnerabilities. NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including 1.26.0 is vulnerable to some of them. TagTrap, where the triple(Zone, Algo, KeyTag) matching mechanism introduces a significant attack vector when resolvers handle malicious responses containing numerous mismatched DNSKEY, RRSIG, and DS record. DelegationTrap, where constructing the chain-of-trust requires iterative validation of DNSKEY and DS records from the root zone downward. For deeply nested domains, this results in significant computational overhead. NsecTrap, where responses with excessive invalid NSEC records compel the resolver to validate each one. AdditionalTrap, where Unbound by default would try to DNSSEC validate the ADDITIONAL section as well. This can be exploited to waste validation resources by malicious users.
CVE-2026-82720 2026-09-16 5.9 Medium
NLnet Labs Unbound 1.12.0 up to and including 1.26.0 has a use-after-free vulnerability when compiled for DNS-over-HTTPs support with '--with-libnghttp2'. During failure code paths (i.e., RPZ drop query, jostle due to heavy traffic), a dropped DoH stream brings down the whole DoH session and does not account properly for other DoH streams in the same session. This leads to use-after-free in those code paths. If the prerequisites are satisfied (possible RPZ drop or heavy client traffic), a malicious actor can trigger the vulnerability with a single DoH connection and the appropriate traffic. Impact is limited as the reads are not user controlled and the use-after-free leads to early returns. However, a hardened allocator can catch the use-after-free and controllably terminate the process resulting to denial of service.
CVE-2026-82717 2026-09-16 N/A
In NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including 1.26.0, a vulnerability was found in that can progressively corrupt heap memory and under certain systems and compilation options could lead to remote code execution. The vulnerability starts when CNAME synthesis during an upstream response needs to enforce(rewrite) a max TTL value in the packet buffer. Coupled with a compression pointer that points to the overwritten value and invalidates the domain name, it leads to an error path that does not properly move the buffer position and allows for the heap buffer overflow. Since this is heavily reliant on heap memory layout, results are memory corruption that eventually leads to a crash and under specific systems and compilation options remote code execution.
CVE-2026-81642 2026-09-16 N/A
In NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including 1.26.0, a vulnerability was found in the DNSSEC validator that enables denial of service and possible remote code execution as a result of digesting DNSKEYs. A DNSKEY with an owner compression pointer to its own RDATA can overflow the digest buffer. Remote code execution is possible through attacker controlled data. An adversary can exploit the vulnerability by controlling a malicious zone and querying a vulnerable Unbound.
CVE-2026-84597 1 Apple 7 Ios And Ipados, Ipados, Iphone Os and 4 more 2026-09-16 6.5 Medium
An out-of-bounds read issue was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, tvOS 27, visionOS 27, watchOS 27. Processing a maliciously crafted font may result in the disclosure of process memory.
CVE-2026-28960 1 Apple 3 Ios And Ipados, Ipados, Iphone Os 2026-09-16 7.5 High
A denial-of-service issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.10 and iPadOS 18.7.10. A remote attacker may be able to cause a denial-of-service.
CVE-2026-39040 2026-09-16 N/A
BharatMLStack up to and including 1.3.0 is vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting (XSS) via the component Trufflebox UI (trufflebox-ui) in ExpressionViewModal.jsx.
CVE-2026-92237 1 Devolutions 1 Powershell Universal 2026-09-16 N/A
Insertion of sensitive information into log file in the slow query logging feature in Devolutions PowerShell Universal 2026.2.5 and earlier allows an authenticated user with log read permission to obtain application tokens, data protection key material and other stored credentials via SQL parameter values written to the system log on instances backed by Microsoft SQL Server.
CVE-2026-81634 2026-09-16 7.5 High
In NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including 1.26.0, a 255 length query name with a large TCP response can lead to a heap buffer overflow during the RRSet canonicalisation routine. This is caused by missing to add the first owner name into the buffer length check. A malicious actor operating a malicious name server or tampering with an incoming response to Unbound (canonicalisation happens before DNSSEC validation), can trigger the vulnerability.
CVE-2026-80225 2026-09-16 5.3 Medium
In NLnetLabs Unbound up to and including 1.26.0, a degradation of service vulnerability is present in the TCP/DoT reading procedure where there is no limit on consecutive reads. A malicious actor that can stream and sustain a rate of distinct uncached names over the TCP/DoT connection, monopolizes a single worker's entire event loop for as long as its writes stay ahead of the drain.
CVE-2026-78227 2026-09-16 6.5 Medium
NLnet Labs Unbound 1.22.0 up to and including 1.26.1, has a use-after-free vulnerability when compiled for DNS-over-QUIC support with '--with-libngtcp2'. Each DoQ stream owns an output buffer that holds the DNS response. ngtcp2's retransmission buffer keeps a shallow pointer into the output buffer for as long as a STREAM frame may be resent. On a client RESET_STREAM, the output buffer is freed but ngtcp2 still holds the matching retransmission entries. The next PTO timeout makes ngtcp2 re-encode the STREAM frame and copy from the freed buffer. A malicious actor that can query Unbound over DoQ and that withholds ACKs, sends RESET_STREAM, and waits for PTO, reaches this use-after-free with no privilege. This leads to retransmissions against freed memory and eventually an abnormal server exit under a 20-query spray.
CVE-2026-77955 2026-09-16 4.4 Medium
In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.13.2 up to and including 1.26.1, a vulnerability in ZONEMD configured zones (zonemd-check: yes) which are located below (but not at) a trust anchor allow for an attack window where (tampered with) zone contents are served (or stored to disk) prior to the ZONEMD integrity check. This is caused by the needed DS/DNSKEY asynchronous resolution that needs to happen before the ZONEMD check completes. If a zonefile is written to disk (zonefile: option) while the ZONEMD check failed, the tampered data are reloaded on startup and available until ZONEMD verification concludes again. If verification fails, the data is not served any more but still persists on disk for future reloads.
CVE-2026-77860 2026-09-16 3.7 Low
In NLnetLabs Unbound 1.20.0 up to and including 1.26.0, a vulnerability on the 'serve-expired' code path can cause a double decrement on the 'wait-limit' counter per client IP essentially bypassing one of the counter measures that was introduced for DNSBomb (CVE-2024-33655). A malicious actor can exploit this by controlling an authoritative zone with short TTL, so cached entries expire quickly. Each 'slow' query, one the attacker's authoritative never answers, is followed by one query for an expired cached name, which is answered immediately via the 'serve-expired' path and decrements the counter twice. This second query was named 'pump'. By alternating slow queries and pumps, the attacker keeps the per-client counter at or below the configured 'wait-limit' indefinitely, and can hold an arbitrary number of pending queries from a single source IP, up to the global mesh quota (num-queries-per-thread); eventually bypassing one of the counter measures introduced for DNSBomb (CVE-2024-33655). This vulnerability is present on the 'serve-expired' code path.
CVE-2026-86338 1 Ash-project 1 Ash 2026-09-16 N/A
Ash field_policies are documented to protect against filter-based information disclosure: when a field the actor may not see is referenced in a filter, it is replaced with an expression that evaluates to nil, so a filter cannot be used as a yes/no oracle to read a value the actor cannot see. This nilling was applied to attributes but not to calculations or aggregates. A user-supplied filter reference to a calculation or aggregate carries an Ash.Query.Calculation / Ash.Query.Aggregate struct, which the authorizer's reference replacement did not match (it only matched the Ash.Resource.* structs), so the filter ran against the real value. As a result, an actor whose field policies forbid a calculation or aggregate can still filter by it (for example filter(secret_calc == "x") or filter(comment_count == n)) and learn the value from whether rows match — an oracle that recovers field-policy-protected values one probe at a time. Filtering is commonly exposed to lower-privileged actors (for example via AshGraphql or AshJsonApi filter arguments), which is exactly the surface field policies are meant to protect. The fix routes filter references to calculations and aggregates through the same field-policy nilling as attributes. This issue affects ash: from 2.11.0-rc.0 before 3.33.4.
CVE-2026-88255 1 Zenhive 1 Mpp 2026-09-16 N/A
Improper Validation of Unsafe Equivalence in Input in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to pass the Tempo duplicate-submission gate twice with one signed transaction. MPP.Methods.Tempo reserves the pre-broadcast dedup slot on the caller-supplied hex in reserve_hash_atomic/2, keyed through store_key/1 on tx.raw rather than on a canonical form of the transaction. The deserializer stores the caller's hex verbatim and accepts both recovery-id encodings, so one signed transaction submitted once with v=27 and once with v=0 yields two distinct reserve keys, and both pass the reserve and reach the broadcast path. The plug-level credential replay store is deliberately carved out for tempo in lib/mpp/replay.ex, leaving this reserve as the only gate, and the post-broadcast mark writes the canonical hash key that the raw-keyed reserve never reads. What the duplicate submission yields depends on the node: a nonce-reuse rejection fails closed, while a node that answers with the canonical hash for an already-known transaction returns a second valid Payment-Receipt for a single on-chain payment. This issue affects mpp: from 0.2.0 before 0.16.2.
CVE-2026-89774 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-16 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: SCO: hold sk properly in sco_conn_ready sk deref in sco_conn_ready must be done either under conn->lock, or holding a refcount, to avoid concurrent close. conn->sk and parent sk is currently accessed without either, and without checking parent->sk_state: [Task 1] [Task 2] sco_sock_release sco_conn_ready sk = conn->sk lock_sock(sk) conn->sk = NULL lock_sock(sk) release_sock(sk) sco_sock_kill(sk) UAF on sk deref and similarly for access to sco_get_sock_listen() return value. Fix possible UAF by holding sk refcount in sco_conn_ready() and making sco_get_sock_listen() increase refcount. Also recheck after lock_sock that the socket is still valid. Adjust conn->sk locking so it's protected also by lock_sock() of the associated socket if any.
CVE-2026-89186 1 Zenhive 1 Mpp 2026-09-16 N/A
Use of Cache Containing Sensitive Information in ZenHive mpp allows a shared HTTP cache to store a paid response and serve it to clients that never paid. MPP.Plug.verify_credential in lib/mpp/plug.ex sets payment-receipt and cache-control: private on the connection before the wrapped application runs, and registers no register_before_send/2 callback. Plug.Conn.put_resp_header/3 replaces an existing header, so a mounting application that sets its own cache-control on the paid resource (for example public, max-age=3600) silently overrides the private the library relies on, and a CDN or reverse proxy can then store the paid 200 together with its Payment-Receipt and serve both to unpaid clients. The library-level guarantee is therefore defeatable by the application it protects. For the same reason a downstream non-2xx response still carried Payment-Receipt, issuing a receipt for a response that delivered no resource. This issue affects mpp: from 0.1.0 before 0.16.2.
CVE-2026-84611 1 Apple 5 Ios And Ipados, Macos, Tvos and 2 more 2026-09-16 7.3 High
