CVSS v3.1 |
Serialize JavaScript serializes JavaScript values to a superset of JSON that includes regular expressions and functions. From 7.1.1 until 7.1.2, function values serialized by serialize-javascript are not fully protected against script-closing tags in attacker-influenced function source because SCRIPT_CLOSE_REGEXP can consume a second closing tag inside one match. When the serialized function is embedded in a script element, the surviving closing tag terminates the element early and causes the remaining output to be parsed as HTML, enabling cross-site scripting in the page origin. Only function values are affected; ordinary data values and options.isJSON output are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.
CMAK through 3.0.0.6 fails to install a cross-site request forgery filter, allowing attackers to perform state-changing actions on behalf of authenticated operators. Attackers can craft hidden forms that submit to destructive endpoints like topic deletion and cluster configuration changes, leveraging the operator's HTTP Basic authentication credentials or play-basic-authentication cookie without SameSite protection.
CMAK through 3.0.0.6 fails to apply the scheduled leader election feature toggle to HTML form routes, allowing attackers to bypass the feature gate. Attackers can access the form endpoints to start and stop the recurring election scheduler, disrupting leadership across managed Kafka clusters.
Buffer overflow in the YMMAPI.YMailAttach ActiveX control (ymmapi.dll) before 2005.1.1.4 in Yahoo! Messenger allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML document. NOTE: some details were obtained from third party information.
Unspecified vulnerability in the Chat Room functionality in Yahoo! Messenger 8.1.0.239 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via unspecified vectors. NOTE: the provenance of this information is unknown; the details are obtained solely from third party information.
Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the Contact Details functionality in Yahoo! Messenger 8.1.0.209 and earlier allow user-assisted remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a javascript: URI in the SRC attribute of an IMG element to the (1) First Name, (2) Last Name, and (3) Nickname fields. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.
Unspecified vulnerability in Yahoo! Messenger (Service 18) before 8.1.0.195 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL dereference and application crash) via a crafted room name in a Conference Invite. NOTE: the provenance of this information is unknown; the details are obtained from third party information.
Yahoo! Messenger for WAP permits saving messages that contain JavaScript, which allows user-assisted remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a URL at the online service.
Serialize JavaScript to a superset of JSON that includes regular expressions and functions. Prior to version 7.0.5, there is a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability caused by CPU exhaustion. When serializing a specially crafted "array-like" object (an object that inherits from Array.prototype but has a very large length property), the process enters an intensive loop that consumes 100% CPU and hangs indefinitely. This issue has been patched in version 7.0.5.
Inbit Messenger versions 4.6.0 to 4.9.0 contain a remote stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending malformed network packets. Attackers can craft a specially designed payload targeting the messenger's network handler to overwrite the Structured Exception Handler (SEH) and execute shellcode on vulnerable Windows systems.
Inbit Messenger 4.6.0 - 4.9.0 contains a remote command execution vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands by exploiting a stack overflow in the messenger's protocol. Attackers can send specially crafted XML packets to port 10883 with a malicious payload to trigger the vulnerability and execute commands with system privileges.
Untrusted search path vulnerability in Installer of Yahoo! Toolbar (for Internet explorer) v8.0.0.6 and earlier, with its timestamp prior to June 13, 2017, 18:18:55 allows an attacker to gain privileges via a Trojan horse DLL in an unspecified directory.
Multiple stack-based buffer overflows in Yahoo! Messenger 11.5.0.228 and earlier allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via the (1) shortcut or (2) title keys in an emoticons.xml file.
The Yahoo! Japan Box (aka jp.co.yahoo.android.ybox) application 1.5.1 for Android does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
The Yahoo! Tumblr app before 3.4.1 for iOS sends cleartext credentials, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by sniffing the network.
The Yahoo! Japan Shopping application 1.4 and earlier for Android does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in io.swf in the IO Utility component in Yahoo! YUI 3.0.0 through 3.9.1, as used in Moodle through 2.1.10, 2.2.x before 2.2.11, 2.3.x before 2.3.8, 2.4.x before 2.4.5, 2.5.x before 2.5.1, and other products, allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted string in a URL.
The Yahoo! Browser application 1.4.4 and earlier for Android allows remote attackers to spoof the address bar via vectors related to URL display, a different vulnerability than CVE-2013-2307.
The Yahoo! Browser application before 1.4.3 for Android allows remote attackers to spoof the address bar via a crafted web site.
The Yahoo! Japan Yafuoku! application 4.3.0 and earlier for iOS and Android does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
