CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw has been found in Open5GS 2.8.0. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the component AMF UEContextReleaseRequest Path Handler. Executing a manipulation can lead to improper authorization. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. |
| The Forminator Forms WordPress plugin before 1.57.0.7 does not consistently enforce the role restriction it applies to registration forms, allowing users who are permitted to build forms to configure one that assigns the administrator role to any visitor who registers through it. |
| The Content Mask WordPress plugin before 1.8.5.5 does not check the capability required to publish the post type being created, allowing users with a role as low as Contributor to publish posts and pages on the site without holding the publish capability. |
| LeafWiki is a self-hosted wiki. Versions 0.1.0 through 0.10.0 have a privilege escalation vulnerability in the user update API. An authenticated user could update their own account role and escalate privileges from a regular user, such as `viewer`, to `admin`. Exploitation requires a valid authenticated LeafWiki user account. Instances without public registration and with only trusted users are at lower practical risk. Users should update to version 0.10.1 or greater. Until a patch is available, operators should restrict account creation and ensure that only trusted users have accounts on affected LeafWiki instances. If possible, access to the user update API should be restricted to trusted users or administrators only. |
| The Security Hardener plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.4. The vulnerability exists because the plugin's user-enumeration protection, which is enabled by default, hooks the rest_endpoints filter via secure_user_endpoints() and overwrites every registered handler's permission_callback on both the /wp/v2/users and /wp/v2/users/(?P<id>[\d]+) routes — including POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE handlers — with a bare closure that returns only is_user_logged_in(), completely stripping WordPress Core's original capability checks such as create_users, promote_user, edit_users, and delete_users that WP_REST_Users_Controller normally enforces. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to create new Administrator accounts by sending POST request to /wp/v2/users with administrator role, or to reset an existing Administrator's password by issuing a PUT/POST request to /wp/v2/users/<id>. Because the block_user_enum option defaults to enabled, no special plugin configuration is required — the overwrite is active on every request as soon as the plugin is installed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fscrypt: use the mount idmap for the owner check in fscrypt_ioctl_set_policy()
fscrypt_ioctl_set_policy() calls inode_owner_or_capable() with
&nop_mnt_idmap before allowing an encryption policy to be set, instead
of the idmap of the mount the ioctl was issued on.
fscrypt is used by filesystems that support idmapped mounts (e.g. ext4,
f2fs), so on such a mount this compares the caller's fsuid against the
unmapped on-disk owner rather than the mapped owner: the actual owner
can be wrongly denied with -EACCES and an unrelated caller wrongly
allowed. Use file_mnt_idmap(filp) instead. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: defer destroy_previous_session() until after NTLM authentication
In ntlm_authenticate(), destroy_previous_session() is called using a
user pointer resolved from the client-supplied NTLM blob username field
before the NTLMv2 response is validated. An authenticated attacker can
set the NTLM blob username to match a victim account and set
PreviousSessionId to the victim's session ID; destroy_previous_session()
destroys the victim's session while ksmbd_decode_ntlmssp_auth_blob()
subsequently rejects the request with -EPERM.
Move destroy_previous_session() and the prev_id assignment to after
ksmbd_decode_ntlmssp_auth_blob() returns success and use sess->user
rather than the pre-authentication lookup result. This matches the
ordering already used by krb5_authenticate(), where
destroy_previous_session() is called only after
ksmbd_krb5_authenticate() returns success. |
| A vulnerability has been found in SourceCodester Class and Exam Timetabling System 1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /admin/edit_user_account.php of the component User Account Update. Such manipulation of the argument id/username leads to improper authorization. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| The RestrictMate WordPress plugin before 1.3.0 does not restrict the user role supplied during account registration, allowing unauthenticated attackers to create a new administrator account and gain a logged-in administrator session, leading to full site takeover. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ovl: don't warn when the mount is completed from another user namespace
fsopen() records the caller's user namespace in fc->user_ns and hands
back an ordinary file descriptor. Nothing ties the task that calls
fsconfig(FSCONFIG_CMD_CREATE) to the task that created the context. The
fd is inherited across fork() and exec() and it can be passed over a
unix socket.
Completing a context from another user namespace is allowed on purpose.
vfs_cmd_create() authorizes the create with mount_capable(), which for
FS_USERNS_MOUNT checks ns_capable(fc->user_ns, CAP_SYS_ADMIN), and that
succeeds for a task holding CAP_SYS_ADMIN in an ancestor of fc->user_ns.
So an unprivileged task can reach the WARN_ON() in ovl_fill_super():
create a user and a mount namespace in a child, call fsopen("overlay")
there, send the fscontext fd to the parent and let the parent issue
FSCONFIG_CMD_CREATE. Both namespaces come from a plain unshare(1) and no
capability is needed anywhere:
WARNING: fs/overlayfs/super.c:1551 at ovl_fill_super+0x7b9/0x1e20 [overlay]

Call Trace:

vfs_get_tree+0x2a/0x100
vfs_cmd_create+0x60/0xf0
__do_sys_fsconfig+0x4b2/0x500
The child needs the mount namespace because fsopen() itself gates on
may_mount(), which asks for CAP_SYS_ADMIN in the user namespace owning
the caller's mount namespace. fsconfig() doesn't repeat that check.
It is a WARN_ON() and not a WARN_ON_ONCE(), so the condition can be
raised in a loop to taint the kernel and flood the log, and it panics a
kernel booted with panic_on_warn.
Keep refusing the mount and stop warning about it. ovl_parse_param()
already spells a user namespace check this way for Opt_override_creds. |
| A logic issue was addressed with improved restrictions. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.9 and iPadOS 18.7.9, iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5, macOS Sequoia 15.7.4, macOS Sonoma 14.8.4, macOS Tahoe 26.5, tvOS 26.5, visionOS 26.5, watchOS 26.5. A malicious app may be able to break out of its sandbox. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
octeontx2-af: fix VF bringup affecting PF promiscuous state
Mbox handling of nix_set_rx_mode for a VF with promiscuous and
all_multi flags set to false causes deletion of the PF's promiscuous
and allmulti MCAM rules. This occurs because the APIs that
enable/disable these rules operate only on the PF, even when the
mbox request is made via a VF interface.
Guard both rvu_npc_enable_allmulti_entry() and
rvu_npc_enable_promisc_entry() disable paths with an is_vf() check so
that a VF bringing up or tearing down its interface cannot inadvertently
clear the PF's MCAM rules. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Hyperion Financial Management product of Oracle Hyperion (component: Security). The supported version that is affected is 11.2.25.0.000. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via SQL to compromise Oracle Hyperion Financial Management. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Hyperion Financial Management. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| The WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to privilege escalation due to a missing capability check on the wpematico_import_settings function in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.24. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to update arbitrary options on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update the default role for registration to administrator and enable user registration for attackers to gain administrative user access. |
| IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 has a vulnerability in cmdnim that may allow an unprivileged local user to executes the payload as root. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Hyperion Financial Management product of Oracle Hyperion (component: Security). The supported version that is affected is 11.2.25.0.000. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Hyperion Financial Management executes to compromise Oracle Hyperion Financial Management. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Hyperion Financial Management accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.3 (Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:N/I:H/A:N). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tipc: require net admin for TIPCv2 netlink mutators
TIPCv2 registers mutating generic-netlink operations without admin
permission flags. Generic netlink only checks CAP_NET_ADMIN when an
operation sets GENL_ADMIN_PERM or GENL_UNS_ADMIN_PERM, so a local
unprivileged process can currently change TIPC state through commands
such as TIPC_NL_NET_SET, TIPC_NL_KEY_SET, TIPC_NL_KEY_FLUSH, and
bearer enable/disable.
The legacy TIPC netlink API already checks netlink_net_capable(...,
CAP_NET_ADMIN) for administrative commands. Give the TIPCv2 mutators
the equivalent generic-netlink gate. Use GENL_UNS_ADMIN_PERM, which
maps to the same namespace-aware CAP_NET_ADMIN check that
netlink_net_capable() performs, so the behaviour matches the legacy
path and keeps working for CAP_NET_ADMIN holders in a non-initial user
namespace (containers).
A QEMU/KASAN repro run as uid/gid 65534 with zero effective
capabilities previously succeeded in changing the network id and node
identity, setting and flushing key material, and enabling/disabling a
UDP bearer. With this patch applied the same operations fail with
-EPERM. |
| Berkeley Out-of-Order Machine (BOOM) commit 5223e44cfeb26f41380057a2eb4d651197475f69 contains a potential incorrect privilege assignment issue in the v3 and v4 NBDTLB implementations. The raw mstatus.SUM value participates in the read and write permission logic without an explicit local satp.MODE validity check at the use site |
| A weakness has been identified in Dolibarr up to 23.0.4. This affects an unknown part of the file htdocs/user/card.php of the component Account Handler. This manipulation of the argument ID causes improper authorization. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 24.0.0 is able to mitigate this issue. Patch name: b2a2c995537cb6282383b5e903cb5ffa29b823e6. The affected component should be upgraded. |
| Vulnerability in the Helidon product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Imperative Web Server). The supported version that is affected is 4.5.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTPS to compromise Helidon. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Helidon accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Helidon accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N). |
