| DJI drones transmit DUML (DJI Universal Markup Language) protocol messages over BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) without encryption. When a client attempts to connect to the drone over Wi-Fi, or when the drone is switched to QuickTransfer mode, the DJI Fly application exchanges DUML messages with the drone over BLE, including the Wi-Fi credentials. An attacker within BLE range can passively sniff this traffic and recover the credentials in cleartext, including the drone's Wi-Fi PSK, SSID, and trusted identifier UUID. Obtaining these credentials allows the attacker to join the drone's internal Wi-Fi network, interact with network services exposed by the drone, and decrypt Wi-Fi traffic exchanged between the drone and the legitimate user.
* An attacker within BLE range recovers the Wi-Fi SSID and PSK in cleartext, and can then join the drone's network
* The same capture also exposes the session UUID identifier, which is the only thing the drone uses to tell a trusted client from an unknown one, so the attacker can replay it and skip the physical confirmation of new connected devices.
* The credentials do not change between sessions unless the operator manually resets the Wi-Fi settings, so one capture stays valid indefinitely
* The attack is fully passive, with nothing transmitted and no connection made, so neither the operator nor the drone has any indication the session was observed
* A BLE sniffer and presence during one normal DJI Fly connection are needed
Affected models are DJI Neo until 01.00.0400, DJI Neo 2 until 01.00.0500, DJI Flip until 01.00.1200, DJI Air 3 until 01.00.1600, DJI Air 3S until 01.00.1400, DJI Avata 2 until 01.00.0400, DJI Avata 360 until 01.00.0300, DJI Mavic 3 until 01.00.1400, DJI Mavic 3 Classic until 01.00.0800, DJI Mavic 3 Pro until 01.01.0700, DJI Mavic 4 Pro until 01.00.0500, DJI Mini 2 until 01.07.0200, DJI Mini 3 until 01.00.0500, DJI Mini 3 Pro until 01.00.0900, DJI Mini 4 Pro until 01.00.1100, and DJI Mini 5 Pro until 01.00.0600.
Remediation requires a firmware update from the vendor. There is no user-side mitigation that fully addresses the vulnerability without upgrading. |
| A flaw was found in the Submariner operator. The Submariner Custom Resource (CR), used for configuring network connectivity, stores the IPsec pre-shared key (PSK) in an unencrypted format. This key, which is critical for securing communication between Kubernetes clusters, can be accessed by unauthorized parties. Such access enables an attacker to passively decrypt network traffic flowing between any two clusters in the mesh, resulting in sensitive information disclosure. |
| A flaw was found in the Submariner operator. This vulnerability allows for the exposure of a long-lived broker service account (SA) bearer token within the Submariner Custom Resource (CR) specification. An attacker with access to the cluster's etcd database or through `kubectl get` commands could obtain this token. The possession of this token grants full control over the mesh network, enabling unauthorized management of network resources such as endpoints and secrets. |
| IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 NIM could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions due to the exposure of intermediate certificate authority private keys in a publicly available update file. |
| Cleartext storage of sensitive information vulnerability in Kriptok Crypto and Information Technologies Industry Trade Inc. Cryptosim allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data.
This issue affects Cryptosim: before 3.1.0.229. |
| Cleartext Storage of Sensitive Information vulnerability in Apache CloudStack with AsyncJob storage in the database.
This issue affects Apache CloudStack: from 4.0.0 through 4.20.3.0 and from 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.3.1 or 4.22.1.1 or later, which fixes the issue. |
| A vulnerability exists in the Dynamic DNS (DDNS) functionality of TP-Link Omada Gateways. During communication with a third-party DDNS service, authentication credentials are transmitted over an unencrypted channel. An attacker who can observe or manipulate traffic between an affected device and the DDNS service may obtain sensitive authentication information or interfere with DDNS update operations. Exploitation requires DDNS to be configured, communication with an external DDNS service, and attacker visibility or control of the relevant network path.
Successful exploitation may result in disclosure of DDNS account credentials, unauthorized access to DDNS management functionality, or modification of DNS records associated with the affected deployment. |
| The HTTPPasswordMgr class in the urllib.request module, along with its subclasses HTTPPasswordMgrWithDefaultRealm and HTTPPasswordMgrWithPriorAuth, did not take the URL scheme into account when matching stored credentials against a requested URL. Credentials added for an https:// URL were also used for requests to the same host over http://, so an attacker able to redirect or downgrade a client to plain HTTP (for example, via an HTTPS-to-HTTP redirect or an on-path position) could capture credentials in cleartext. Credentials added for http:// URLs could likewise be sent over https://.
Credential matching is now scoped by URL scheme. Credentials registered with a URL that includes a scheme are only used for requests with the same scheme. Credentials registered with a bare authority (such as example.com or example.com:8080) continue to match any scheme, preserving compatibility with existing code, including proxy authentication.
Users who cannot upgrade immediately can mitigate by ensuring that applications never make plain http:// requests to hosts for which credentials are registered, for example by not following redirects to http:// URLs. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in lin-snow Ech0 up to 5.4.1. Affected by this issue is the function MD5Encrypt of the file internal/util/crypto/crypto.go. Performing a manipulation results in risky cryptographic algorithm. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation is known to be difficult. Upgrading to version 5.4.2 can resolve this issue. The patch is named 9ce19a3b0d0765086a655f45d3a706ec1810404f. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| In versions below 2.2.1 of the Cisco Webex app for Splunk SOAR, a user who holds a role with permission to run actions could expose a sensitive meeting password by invoking the schedule meeting action, because the action's password parameter is not masked and is shown in cleartext in the user interface. The information disclosure is possible because the app does not mark the affected action parameter as a password. For more information see Run an action in Splunk SOAR (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/use-splunk-soar-on-premises/8.6.0/use-the-command-line-interface-to-perform-tasks-in-splunk-soar-on-premises/run-an-action-in-splunk-soar-on-premises). |
| stigmem-node contains an insecure default configuration vulnerability that allows federation traffic to traverse networks without mTLS protection when non-loopback endpoints are enabled. Operators who explicitly disabled mTLS while binding federation to non-loopback addresses expose federation traffic to cleartext interception and man-in-the-middle attacks. |
| In versions below 3.2.2 of the Zoom app for Splunk SOAR, a user who holds a role with permission to run actions could expose meeting and personal meeting ID passwords by invoking one of the create meeting, update meeting, or update user settings actions, because the affected password and pmi_password parameters are not masked and are shown in cleartext in the user interface. The information disclosure is possible because the app does not mark the affected action parameters as passwords. |
| Cleartext storage of sensitive information in Windows Hello allows an authorized attacker to perform tampering locally. |
| Medtronic MyCareLink Patient Monitor uses per-product credentials that are stored in a recoverable format. An attacker can use these credentials for network authentication. |
| Echelon SmartServer 1 all versions, SmartServer 2 all versions prior to release 4.11.007, i.LON 100 all versions, and i.LON 600 all versions. The devices allow unencrypted Web connections by default, and devices can receive configuration and firmware updates by unsecure FTP. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC HMI Comfort Panels 4" - 22" (All versions < V15.1 Update 1), SIMATIC HMI Comfort Outdoor Panels 7" & 15" (All versions < V15.1 Update 1), SIMATIC HMI KTP Mobile Panels KTP400F, KTP700, KTP700F, KTP900 und KTP900F (All versions < V15.1 Update 1), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Advanced (All versions < V15.1 Update 1), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional (All versions < V15.1 Update 1), SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal) (All versions < V15.1 Update 1), SIMATIC HMI Classic Devices (TP/MP/OP/MP Mobile Panel) (All versions). An attacker with network access to affected devices could potentially obtain a TLS session key. If the attacker is able to observe TLS traffic between a legitimate user and the device, then the attacker could decrypt the TLS traffic. The security vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker who has network access to the web interface of the device and who is able to observe TLS traffic between legitimate users and the web interface of the affected device. The vulnerability could impact the confidentiality of the communication between the affected device and a legitimate user. At the time of advisory publication no public exploitation of the security vulnerability was known. |
| An insecure communication was found between a user and the Orpak SiteOmat management console for all known versions, due to an invalid SSL certificate. The attack allows for an eavesdropper to capture the communication and decrypt the data. |
| The TLS protocol 1.2 and earlier, when a DHE_EXPORT ciphersuite is enabled on a server but not on a client, does not properly convey a DHE_EXPORT choice, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to conduct cipher-downgrade attacks by rewriting a ClientHello with DHE replaced by DHE_EXPORT and then rewriting a ServerHello with DHE_EXPORT replaced by DHE, aka the "Logjam" issue. |
