CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: defer destroy_previous_session() until after NTLM authentication
In ntlm_authenticate(), destroy_previous_session() is called using a
user pointer resolved from the client-supplied NTLM blob username field
before the NTLMv2 response is validated. An authenticated attacker can
set the NTLM blob username to match a victim account and set
PreviousSessionId to the victim's session ID; destroy_previous_session()
destroys the victim's session while ksmbd_decode_ntlmssp_auth_blob()
subsequently rejects the request with -EPERM.
Move destroy_previous_session() and the prev_id assignment to after
ksmbd_decode_ntlmssp_auth_blob() returns success and use sess->user
rather than the pre-authentication lookup result. This matches the
ordering already used by krb5_authenticate(), where
destroy_previous_session() is called only after
ksmbd_krb5_authenticate() returns success. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/qeth: Check CAP_NET_ADMIN for private ioctls
Gate the SIOCDEVPRIVATE ioctl commands SIOC_QETH_ADP_SET_SNMP_CONTROL,
SIOC_QETH_GET_CARD_TYPE and SIOC_QETH_QUERY_OAT with CAP_NET_ADMIN
capable check to ensure unprivileged users cannot invoke them. |
| A flaw was found in the reset-credentials flow of the keycloak-services component, which is the core engine for identity and access management in Red Hat Build of Keycloak. The issue allows an unauthenticated attacker to force the password reset process for any user without needing to click the required email verification link. This can result in the attacker gaining full control over target user accounts by directly setting new credentials. |
| Monkeytype is a minimalistic and customizable typing test. In 26.26.0 and earlier, the backend rate-limit key generator in backend/src/middlewares/rate-limit.ts uses client-controlled cf-connecting-ip and x-forwarded-for headers before the trust-proxy-derived req.ip value. An unauthenticated attacker can rotate either header to create a new bucket for each request, bypassing rootRateLimiter, badAuthRateLimiter, getKey(), and the getKeyWithUid() fallback used by public endpoints. This permits repeated POST /users/forgotPasswordEmail and verificationEmail requests, mail bombing registered users, consuming Firebase or SMTP quota, evading brute-force protection, and enabling resource exhaustion. Exploitability of cf-connecting-ip depends on deployment topology, but x-forwarded-for and direct-to-origin paths remain affected when those values are not overwritten by a trusted proxy. No fixed version is available as of this review. |
| The Automation Web Platform – Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 4.8.6. This is due to the handle_email_otp_return() function returning the secret magic login token in the response to a publicly accessible OTP request, rather than only delivering it to the user's email address. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user on the site, including administrators, if they know that user's email address. |

While the vulnerability is in Helidon, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Helidon accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Helidon accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.2 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N). |
| Privilege escalation in the Downloads API component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, and Thunderbird 153.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Switch CONFIG_CFI_CLANG to CONFIG_CFI
This was renamed in commit 23ef9d439769 ("kcfi: Rename CONFIG_CFI_CLANG
to CONFIG_CFI") as it is now a compiler-agnostic option. Using the wrong
name results in the code getting compiled out. Meaning the CFI failures
for btf_dtor_kfunc_t would still trigger. |
| Improper Restriction of Excessive Authentication Attempts, Weak Password Recovery Mechanism for Forgotten Password vulnerability in Birebirsoft Software and Technology Solutions Sufirmam allows Brute Force, Password Recovery Exploitation.
This issue affects Sufirmam: through 23012026. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Authentication Bypass by Primary Weakness, Weak Password Recovery Mechanism for Forgotten Password vulnerability in Birebirsoft Software and Technology Solutions Sufirmam allows Authentication Bypass, Password Recovery Exploitation.
This issue affects Sufirmam: through 23012026. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: fix in-place encryption corruption in SMB2_write()
SMB2_write() places write payload in iov[1..n] as part of rq_iov.
smb3_init_transform_rq() pointer-shares rq_iov, so crypt_message()
encrypts iov[1] in-place, replacing the original plaintext with
ciphertext. On a replayable error, the retry sends the same iov[1]
which now contains ciphertext instead of the original data,
resulting in corruption.
The corruption is most likely to be observed when connections are
unstable, as reconnects trigger write retries that re-send the
already-encrypted data.
This affects SFU mknod, MF symlinks, etc. On kernels before
6.10 (prior to the netfs conversion), sync writes also used
this path and were similarly affected. The async write path
wasn't unaffected as it uses rq_iter which gets deep-copied.
Fix by moving the write payload into rq_iter via iov_iter_kvec(),
so smb3_init_transform_rq() deep-copies it before encryption. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in Sangfor Operation and Maintenance Security Management System up to 3.0.12. This affects the function edit_pwd_mall of the file /fort/login/edit_pwd_mall. The manipulation of the argument flag results in weak password recovery. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A Host Header Injection vulnerability in TRMTracker application may allow an attacker by modifying the host header value in an HTTP request to leverage multiple attack vectors, including defacing the site content through web-cache poisoning. |
| Known is a social publishing platform. Prior to 1.6.3, a Critical Broken Authentication vulnerability exists in Known 1.6.2 and earlier. The application leaks the password reset token within a hidden HTML input field on the password reset page. This allows any unauthenticated attacker to retrieve the reset token for any user by simply querying the user's email, leading to full Account Takeover (ATO) without requiring access to the victim's email inbox. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.6.3. |
