CVSS v3.1 |
| justhtml versions before 1.13.0 contain a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the to_markdown() function when serializing attacker-controlled pre content. Attackers can place backticks inside sanitized pre elements to break out of fixed-length code fences, allowing raw HTML to execute when the generated Markdown is rendered by CommonMark or GFM-style renderers. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vxlan: use pskb_network_may_pull() for transmit path header pulls
In vxlan_xmit(), arp_reduce(), and vxlan_mdb_entry_skb_get(), pskb_may_pull() was
being called to verify the availability of network layer headers (ARP, IPv6/ND,
IP/IPv6 MDB keys).
However, during transmit skb->data points to the MAC header, so skb_network_offset(skb)
is ETH_HLEN (14 bytes). Using pskb_may_pull(skb, len) only checks len bytes from skb->data
rather than skb_network_offset(skb) + len, which can leave part of the network header
in non-linear frags.
Replace these remaining pskb_may_pull() calls with pskb_network_may_pull() to properly
account for the MAC header offset. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
espintcp: use sk_msg_free_partial to fix partial send
sk_msg_free_partial() ensures consistency of the skmsg at every
iteration, without having to manually handle uncharges and offsets.
This simplifies the code, and fixes some bugs in skmsg accounting when
we don't send the full contents. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/packet: reset the MAC header on the packet-socket transmit path
packet_parse_headers() resets the MAC header only for a SOCK_RAW frame
whose socket did not bind a protocol. A protocol-bound SOCK_RAW socket,
any SOCK_DGRAM frame, and the legacy SOCK_PACKET path therefore leave
skb->mac_header unset here.
For frames sent via __dev_queue_xmit() this is harmless: it resets the
MAC header unconditionally. But the packet-socket PACKET_QDISC_BYPASS
path uses dev_direct_xmit(), which does not, so the frame reaches
ndo_start_xmit() with the MAC header unset. A driver that reads
eth_hdr(skb) on transmit then dereferences skb->head + (u16)~0, an
out-of-bounds access ~64 KiB past the head -- the same class fixed for
one consumer in commit f5089008f90c ("macsec: do not read an unset MAC
header in macsec_encrypt()").
packet_parse_headers() runs only on the transmit path, where skb->data
points at the start of the L2 header for every packet-socket type
regardless of its length: SOCK_RAW and SOCK_PACKET carry a user-supplied
header and SOCK_DGRAM has one built by dev_hard_header(). Reset the MAC
header unconditionally, mirroring __dev_queue_xmit(), so the frame is
anchored on the bypass path too.
Found by 0sec (https://0sec.ai) using automated source analysis;
verified against source and matched to the macsec KASAN report in
f5089008f90c. Compile-tested. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fpga: dfl: add bounds check in dfh_get_param_size()
dfh_get_param_size() can return a parameter size larger than the feature
region because the loop bounds check is evaluated before incrementing
size. If the EOP (End of Parameters) bit is set in the same iteration,
the inflated size is returned without re-validation against max.
This can cause create_feature_instance() to call memcpy_fromio() with a
size exceeding the ioremap'd region when a malicious FPGA device provides
crafted DFHv1 parameter headers.
Add a bounds check after the size increment to ensure the accumulated
size never exceeds the feature boundary. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: SOF: ipc4-control: Fix TOCTOU in sof_ipc4_bytes_put
In sof_ipc4_bytes_put(), the copy size is derived from the old
data->size in the buffer rather than the incoming new data's size
field from ucontrol. If the new data has a different size, the copy
uses the wrong length: it may truncate valid data or copy stale bytes.
Fix by validating and using the incoming data's sof_abi_hdr.size from
ucontrol before copying. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/bnxt_re: Add a max slot check for SQ
The variable WQE mode must be validated against
the maximum slots supported by HW. The max supported
value is 64K. Adding a max and min check and fail if user
supplied value is more than the max supported and zero. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
can: peak_usb: validate uCAN receive record lengths
pcan_usb_fd_decode_buf() walks uCAN records packed in one USB
receive buffer.
Require each record to contain the fixed header for its type, and verify
CAN payload bytes before copying them into the skb. |
| OctoPrint provides a web interface for controlling consumer 3D printers. Prior to 1.11.8 and 2.0.0rc3, Suppressed Command notification popups use PNotify rendering for printer-controlled payload.command and payload.message values in src/octoprint/static/js/app/viewmodels/terminal.js without HTML escaping. An attacker who convinces a victim to print a crafted file can inject HTML and JavaScript into the notification, disrupt prints, read information available to the victim including sensitive settings when permitted, or perform actions in the victim's OctoPrint session. This issue is fixed in versions 1.11.8 and 2.0.0rc3. |
| Mitigation bypass in the Storage: Cache API component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 140.14, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, Thunderbird 140.14, and Thunderbird 153.1. |
| Mitigation bypass in the Safe Browsing component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 140.14, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, Thunderbird 140.14, and Thunderbird 153.1. |
| Snipe-IT before 8.6.0 contains an authorization bypass (insecure direct object reference) in the asset checkout-request cancellation endpoint. The cancel_by_admin and requestingUser values are read from user-controlled URL path segments and used without a server-side authorization check, so any authenticated, low-privileged user can supply a non-empty cancel_by_admin value to bypass the request-ownership check and cancel another user's pending checkout request. Because asset and user identifiers are sequential integers, an attacker can enumerate them to cancel every pending checkout request, disrupting the asset-request workflow. This is fixed in Snipe-IT 8.6.0. |
| Mitigation bypass in the Data Loss Prevention component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 140.14, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, Thunderbird 140.14, and Thunderbird 153.1. |
| AngleSharp is a .NET library for parsing angle bracket based hyper-texts. Prior to 1.5.0, MathAnnotationXmlElement in AngleSharp/Mathml/Dom/Internal/MathAnnotationXmlElement.cs is not treated as an HTML integration point when its encoding attribute is text/html or application/xhtml+xml, causing Consume in AngleSharp/Html/Parser/HtmlDomBuilder.cs to route tokens through foreign-content parsing instead of HTML parsing. A sanitizer can therefore observe a different DOM from the browser that reparses the serialized output. An attacker can combine this namespace differential with markup-breaking characters in an attribute value so that an element hidden from the sanitizer becomes active script-capable HTML after browser reparse, resulting in mutation cross-site scripting. This issue is fixed in version 1.5.0. |
| Maps is a MediaWiki extension that enables visualization of geographic data through dynamic embedded maps. Prior to version 12.1.3, the display_map parser function in the Leaflet service accepts attacker-controlled HTML in the overlays parameter, and resources/leaflet/jquery.leaflet.js uses the overlay name as a Leaflet layer-control label without escaping it. A wiki user with the edit permission can store malicious wikitext that causes script execution when another user previews or views the affected map. The script executes in the viewing user's browser session and can access data or perform actions available to that user. This issue is fixed in version 12.1.3. |
| Mitigation bypass in the Add-ons Manager component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, and Thunderbird 153.1. |
| CVAT is an open source interactive video and image annotation tool for computer vision. From 2.68.0 until 2.70.0, the audio-task annotation guide renderer in cvat-ui/src/audio/components/annotation-page/audio-workspace/top-bar/audio-right-group.tsx passes attacker-controlled guide Markdown to MDEditor without the rehype-sanitize plugin. A user who can create or edit an annotation guide can store malicious JavaScript that executes when another user opens the guide. The script can issue arbitrary CVAT requests with the victim user's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 2.70.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: ccp - copy IV using skcipher ivsize
AF_ALG rfc3686-ctr-aes-ccp requests pass an 8-byte IV to the driver.
ccp_aes_complete() restores AES_BLOCK_SIZE bytes into the caller's IV
buffer while RFC3686 skciphers expose an 8-byte IV, so the restore
overruns the provided buffer.
Use crypto_skcipher_ivsize() to copy only the algorithm's IV length. |
| Mitigation bypass in the JavaScript: GC component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, and Thunderbird 153.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: enetc: check the number of BDs needed for xdp_frame
The size of xdp_redirect_arr array is ENETC_MAX_SKB_FRAGS. However, the
number of fragments contained in xdp_frame may be greater than or equal
to ENETC_MAX_SKB_FRAGS, which will cause the access to xdp_redirect_arr
to be out of bounds. |
