CVE-2026-53762 1 Veracrypt 1 Veracrypt 2026-08-21 6.2 Medium
VeraCrypt provides disk encryption with strong security based on TrueCrypt. Prior to 1.26.29, non-default builds created with WOLFCRYPT=1 and WOLFCRYPT_BACKEND route SHA-256 and SHA-512 volume-header key derivation through derive_key_sha256 and derive_key_sha512 in src/Crypto/wolfCrypt.c, where the configured iterations value is discarded and wc_HKDF is used instead of PBKDF2-HMAC. Changing the PIM or iteration count therefore does not increase derivation cost, allowing an attacker with an affected container, disk image, or volume header to perform substantially cheaper offline password guesses. Official precompiled VeraCrypt binaries and normal distribution packages use the standard PBKDF2 backend and are not affected. Volumes created by an affected WOLFCRYPT=1 build require backup and recreation because corrected builds derive different keys. This issue is fixed in version 1.26.29.
CVE-2026-74871 1 Jahlives 1 Openssl Encrypt 2026-08-21 6.2 Medium
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.6 contain a key derivation flaw in sequential XOR composition mode where the last stage cancels out during key generation. When configured with a single KDF and no prior hashing stage, attackers can bypass memory-hard key derivation and perform offline password cracking at SHA-256 speed instead of the configured KDF cost.

CVE-2024-29886 1 Serverpod 1 Serverpod 2026-01-08 5.3 Medium
Serverpod is an app and web server, built for the Flutter and Dart ecosystem. An issue was identified with the old password hash algorithm that made it susceptible to rainbow attacks if the database was compromised. This vulnerability is fixed by 1.2.6.
CVE-2024-24553 1 Bludit 1 Bludit 2026-01-02 7.5 High
Bludit uses the SHA-1 hashing algorithm to compute password hashes. Thus, attackers could determine cleartext passwords with brute-force attacks due to the inherent speed of SHA-1. In addition, the salt that is computed by Bludit is generated with a non-cryptographically secure function.
CVE-2025-41692 1 Phoenixcontact 140 Fl Nat 2008, Fl Nat 2008 Firmware, Fl Nat 2208 and 137 more 2025-12-19 6.8 Medium
A high privileged remote attacker with admin privileges for the webUI can brute-force the "root" and "user" passwords of the underlying OS due to a weak password generation algorithm.
CVE-2025-67168 1 Ritecms 1 Ritecms 2025-12-18 5.3 Medium
RiteCMS v3.1.0 was discovered to use insecure encryption to store passwords.
CVE-2025-13532 1 Fortra 1 Boks 2025-12-18 6.2 Medium
Insecure defaults in the Server Agent component of Fortra's Core Privileged Access Manager (BoKS) can result in the selection of weak password hash algorithms.  This issue affects BoKS Server Agent 9.0 instances that support yescrypt and are running in a BoKS 8.1 domain.
CVE-2024-3183 1 Redhat 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Aus, Enterprise Linux Eus and 6 more 2025-11-20 8.1 High
A vulnerability was found in FreeIPA in a way when a Kerberos TGS-REQ is encrypted using the client’s session key. This key is different for each new session, which protects it from brute force attacks. However, the ticket it contains is encrypted using the target principal key directly. For user principals, this key is a hash of a public per-principal randomly-generated salt and the user’s password. If a principal is compromised it means the attacker would be able to retrieve tickets encrypted to any principal, all of them being encrypted by their own key directly. By taking these tickets and salts offline, the attacker could run brute force attacks to find character strings able to decrypt tickets when combined to a principal salt (i.e. find the principal’s password).
CVE-2025-46413 1 Buffalo 1 Wex-1800ax4 2025-11-12 N/A
Use of password hash with insufficient computational effort issue exists in BUFFALO Wi-Fi router 'WSR-1800AX4 series'. When WPS is enabled, PIN code and/or Wi-Fi password may be obtained by an attacker.
CVE-2025-2349 1 Iroadau 2 Fx2, Fx2 Firmware 2025-11-06 3.1 Low
A vulnerability was found in IROAD Dash Cam FX2 up to 20250308. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /etc/passwd of the component Password Hash Handler. The manipulation leads to password hash with insufficient computational effort. Access to the local network is required for this attack. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
CVE-2014-2354 1 Cogentdatahub 1 Cogent Datahub 2025-10-03 N/A
Cogent DataHub before 7.3.5 does not use a salt during password hashing, which makes it easier for context-dependent attackers to obtain cleartext passwords via a brute-force attack.

CVE-2025-25183 1 Vllm 1 Vllm 2025-07-01 2.6 Low
vLLM is a high-throughput and memory-efficient inference and serving engine for LLMs. Maliciously constructed statements can lead to hash collisions, resulting in cache reuse, which can interfere with subsequent responses and cause unintended behavior. Prefix caching makes use of Python's built-in hash() function. As of Python 3.12, the behavior of hash(None) has changed to be a predictable constant value. This makes it more feasible that someone could try exploit hash collisions. The impact of a collision would be using cache that was generated using different content. Given knowledge of prompts in use and predictable hashing behavior, someone could intentionally populate the cache using a prompt known to collide with another prompt in use. This issue has been addressed in version 0.7.2 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
