CVE-2026-21725 1 Grafana 1 Grafana 2026-04-24 2.6 Low
A time-of-create-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) vulnerability lets recently deleted-then-recreated data sources be re-deleted without permission to do so. This requires several very stringent conditions to be met: - The attacker must have admin access to the specific datasource prior to its first deletion. - Upon deletion, all steps within the attack must happen within the next 30 seconds and on the same pod of Grafana. - The attacker must delete the datasource, then someone must recreate it. - The new datasource must not have the attacker as an admin. - The new datasource must have the same UID as the prior datasource. These are randomised by default. - The datasource can now be re-deleted by the attacker. - Once 30 seconds are up, the attack is spent and cannot be repeated. - No datasource with any other UID can be attacked.
CVE-2026-23342 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-23 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix race in cpumap on PREEMPT_RT On PREEMPT_RT kernels, the per-CPU xdp_bulk_queue (bq) can be accessed concurrently by multiple preemptible tasks on the same CPU. The original code assumes bq_enqueue() and __cpu_map_flush() run atomically with respect to each other on the same CPU, relying on local_bh_disable() to prevent preemption. However, on PREEMPT_RT, local_bh_disable() only calls migrate_disable() (when PREEMPT_RT_NEEDS_BH_LOCK is not set) and does not disable preemption, which allows CFS scheduling to preempt a task during bq_flush_to_queue(), enabling another task on the same CPU to enter bq_enqueue() and operate on the same per-CPU bq concurrently. This leads to several races: 1. Double __list_del_clearprev(): after bq->count is reset in bq_flush_to_queue(), a preempting task can call bq_enqueue() -> bq_flush_to_queue() on the same bq when bq->count reaches CPU_MAP_BULK_SIZE. Both tasks then call __list_del_clearprev() on the same bq->flush_node, the second call dereferences the prev pointer that was already set to NULL by the first. 2. bq->count and bq->q[] races: concurrent bq_enqueue() can corrupt the packet queue while bq_flush_to_queue() is processing it. The race between task A (__cpu_map_flush -> bq_flush_to_queue) and task B (bq_enqueue -> bq_flush_to_queue) on the same CPU: Task A (xdp_do_flush) Task B (cpu_map_enqueue) ---------------------- ------------------------ bq_flush_to_queue(bq) spin_lock(&q->producer_lock) /* flush bq->q[] to ptr_ring */ bq->count = 0 spin_unlock(&q->producer_lock) bq_enqueue(rcpu, xdpf) <-- CFS preempts Task A --> bq->q[bq->count++] = xdpf /* ... more enqueues until full ... */ bq_flush_to_queue(bq) spin_lock(&q->producer_lock) /* flush to ptr_ring */ spin_unlock(&q->producer_lock) __list_del_clearprev(flush_node) /* sets flush_node.prev = NULL */ <-- Task A resumes --> __list_del_clearprev(flush_node) flush_node.prev->next = ... /* prev is NULL -> kernel oops */ Fix this by adding a local_lock_t to xdp_bulk_queue and acquiring it in bq_enqueue() and __cpu_map_flush(). These paths already run under local_bh_disable(), so use local_lock_nested_bh() which on non-RT is a pure annotation with no overhead, and on PREEMPT_RT provides a per-CPU sleeping lock that serializes access to the bq. To reproduce, insert an mdelay(100) between bq->count = 0 and __list_del_clearprev() in bq_flush_to_queue(), then run reproducer provided by syzkaller.
CVE-2026-23441 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-23 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: Prevent concurrent access to IPSec ASO context The query or updating IPSec offload object is through Access ASO WQE. The driver uses a single mlx5e_ipsec_aso struct for each PF, which contains a shared DMA-mapped context for all ASO operations. A race condition exists because the ASO spinlock is released before the hardware has finished processing WQE. If a second operation is initiated immediately after, it overwrites the shared context in the DMA area. When the first operation's completion is processed later, it reads this corrupted context, leading to unexpected behavior and incorrect results. This commit fixes the race by introducing a private context within each IPSec offload object. The shared ASO context is now copied to this private context while the ASO spinlock is held. Subsequent processing uses this saved, per-object context, ensuring its integrity is maintained.
CVE-2026-35465 2 Freedom, Freedomofpress 2 Securedrop-client, Securedrop-client 2026-04-23 7.5 High
SecureDrop Client is a desktop app for journalists to securely communicate with sources and handle submissions on the SecureDrop Workstation. In versions 0.17.4 and below, a compromised SecureDrop Server can achieve code execution on the Client's virtual machine (sd-app) by exploiting improper filename validation in gzip archive extraction, which permits absolute paths and enables overwriting critical files like the SQLite database. Exploitation requires prior compromise of the dedicated SecureDrop Server, which itself is hardened and only accessible via Tor hidden services. Despite the high attack complexity, the vulnerability is rated High severity due to its significant impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability of decrypted source submissions. This issue is similar to CVE-2025-24888 but occurs through a different code path, and a more robust fix has been implemented in the replacement SecureDrop Inbox codebase. The issue has been fixed in version 0.17.5.

CVE-2026-40896 2 Openproject, Opf 2 Openproject, Openproject 2026-04-23 6.5 Medium
OpenProject is open-source, web-based project management software. Prior to version 17.3.0, a user with `manage_agendas` permission in any project can inject agenda items into meetings belonging to any other project on the instance — even projects they have no access to. No knowledge of the target project, meeting, or victim is required; the attacker can blindly spray items into every meeting on the instance by iterating sequential section IDs. Version 17.3.0 patches the issue.

CVE-2006-5178 1 Php 1 Php 2026-04-23 N/A
Race condition in the symlink function in PHP 5.1.6 and earlier allows local users to bypass the open_basedir restriction by using a combination of symlink, mkdir, and unlink functions to change the file path after the open_basedir check and before the file is opened by the underlying system, as demonstrated by symlinking a symlink into a subdirectory, to point to a parent directory via .. (dot dot) sequences, and then unlinking the resulting symlink.
CVE-2009-4029 2 Gnu, Redhat 2 Automake, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-23 N/A
The (1) dist or (2) distcheck rules in GNU Automake 1.11.1, 1.10.3, and release branches branch-1-4 through branch-1-9, when producing a distribution tarball for a package that uses Automake, assign insecure permissions (777) to directories in the build tree, which introduces a race condition that allows local users to modify the contents of package files, introduce Trojan horse programs, or conduct other attacks before the build is complete.

CVE-2026-40943 1 Oxia-db 1 Oxia 2026-04-22 N/A
Oxia is a metadata store and coordination system. Prior to 0.16.2, a race condition between session heartbeat processing and session closure can cause the server to panic with send on closed channel. The heartbeat() method uses a blocking channel send while holding a mutex, and under specific timing with concurrent close() calls, this can lead to either a deadlock (channel buffer full) or a panic (send on closed channel after TOCTOU gap in KeepAlive). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.16.2.
