| In the context switch logic Xen attempts to skip an IBPB in the case of
a vCPU returning to a CPU on which it was the previous vCPU to run.
While safe for Xen's isolation between vCPUs, this prevents the guest
kernel correctly isolating between tasks. Consider:
1) vCPU runs on CPU A, running task 1.
2) vCPU moves to CPU B, idle gets scheduled on A. Xen skips IBPB.
3) On CPU B, guest kernel switches from task 1 to 2, issuing IBPB.
4) vCPU moves back to CPU A. Xen skips IBPB again.
Now, task 2 is running on CPU A with task 1's training still in the BTB. |
| Mitigation bypass in the Privacy: Anti-Tracking component. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 147.0.2. |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to version 2.4.8, a vulnerability in the Python Code node allows authenticated users to break out of the Python sandbox environment and execute code outside the intended security boundary. This issue has been patched in version 2.4.8. |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.118.0 and 2.4.0, a vulnerability in the Merge node's SQL Query mode allowed authenticated users with permission to create or modify workflows to write arbitrary files to the n8n server's filesystem potentially leading to remote code execution. This issue has been patched in versions 1.118.0 and 2.4.0. |
| When configured as L2TP/IPSec VPN server, Archer AXE75 V1 may accept connections using L2TP without IPSec protection, even when IPSec is enabled. This allows VPN sessions without encryption, exposing data in transit and compromising confidentiality. |
| A medium-severity vulnerability has been identified in BeyondTrust Privilege Management for Windows versions <=25.7. Under certain conditions, a local authenticated user with elevated privileges may be able to bypass the product’s anti-tamper protections, which could allow access to protected application components and the ability to modify product configuration. |
| HCL AION is affected by a Missing Security Response Headers vulnerability. The absence of standard security headers may weaken the application’s overall security posture and increase its susceptibility to common web-based attacks. |
| vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. In vm2 prior to version 3.10.2, `Promise.prototype.then` `Promise.prototype.catch` callback sanitization can be bypassed. This allows attackers to escape the sandbox and run arbitrary code. In lib/setup-sandbox.js, the callback function of `localPromise.prototype.then` is sanitized, but `globalPromise.prototype.then` is not sanitized. The return value of async functions is `globalPromise` object. Version 3.10.2 fixes the issue. |
| The application fails to implement several security headers. These headers help increase the overall security level of the web application by e.g., preventing the application to be displayed in an iFrame (Clickjacking attacks) or not executing injected malicious JavaScript code (XSS attacks). |
| A Protection Mechanism Failure vulnerability in kernel filter processing of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows an attacker sending IPv6 traffic destined to the device to effectively bypass any firewall filtering configured on the interface.
Due to an issue with Junos OS kernel filter processing, the 'payload-protocol' match is not being supported, causing any term containing it to accept all packets without taking any other action. In essence, these firewall filter terms were being processed as an 'accept' for all traffic on the interface destined for the control plane, even when used in combination with other match criteria.
This issue only affects firewall filters protecting the device's control plane. Transit firewall filtering is unaffected by this vulnerability.
This issue affects Junos OS:
* all versions before 21.2R3-S9,
* from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S11,
* from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S7,
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S7,
* from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S4,
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S5,
* from 24.2 before 24.2R2-S1,
* from 24.4 before 24.4R1-S2, 24.4R2.
This is a more complete fix for previously published CVE-2024-21607 (JSA75748). |
| An Incorrect Comparison vulnerability in the local address verification API of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated network-adjacent attacker to create sessions or send traffic to the device using the network and broadcast address of the subnet assigned to an interface. This is unintended and unexpected behavior and can allow an attacker to bypass certain compensating controls, such as stateless firewall filters.
This issue affects Junos OS Evolved:
* All versions before 21.4R3-S8-EVO,
* 22.2-EVO before 22.2R3-S4-EVO,
* 22.3-EVO before 22.3R3-S4-EVO,
* 22.4-EVO before 22.4R3-S3-EVO,
* 23.2-EVO before 23.2R2-S1-EVO,
* 23.4-EVO before 23.4R1-S2-EVO, 23.4R2-EVO. |
| Mitigation bypass in the DOM: Security component. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 147, Firefox ESR < 115.32, Firefox ESR < 140.7, Thunderbird < 147, and Thunderbird < 140.7. |
| Sandbox escape in the Messaging System component. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 147 and Thunderbird < 147. |
| Unallocated memory access vulnerability in print processing of Generic Plus PCL6 Printer Driver / Generic Plus UFR II Printer Driver / Generic Plus LIPS4 Printer Driver / Generic Plus LIPSLX Printer Driver / Generic Plus PS Printer Driver / UFRII LT Printer Driver / CARPS2 Printer Driver / Generic FAX Driver |
| Dell ThinOS 10, versions prior to 2508_10.0127, contain a Protection Mechanism Failure vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Protection mechanism bypass. |
| Enclave is a secure JavaScript sandbox designed for safe AI agent code execution. Prior to 2.7.0, there is a critical sandbox escape vulnerability in enclave-vm that allows untrusted, sandboxed JavaScript code to execute arbitrary code in the host Node.js runtime. When a tool invocation fails, enclave-vm exposes a host-side Error object to sandboxed code. This Error object retains its host realm prototype chain, which can be traversed to reach the host Function constructor. An attacker can intentionally trigger a host error, then climb the prototype chain. Using the host Function constructor, arbitrary JavaScript can be compiled and executed in the host context, fully bypassing the sandbox and granting access to sensitive resources such as process.env, filesystem, and network. This breaks enclave-vm’s core security guarantee of isolating untrusted code. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.7.0. |
| The issue was addressed with improved bounds checks. This issue is fixed in watchOS 9.5, tvOS 16.5, macOS Ventura 13.4, iOS 15.7.8 and iPadOS 15.7.8, Safari 16.5, iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5. A remote attacker may be able to break out of Web Content sandbox. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited. |
