CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in the platform-mbean component of JBoss EAP, which provides management access to JVM-level metrics and configurations. The issue occurs because the handler for the read-resource operation on the runtime management resource fails to perform required Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) checks. This allows an authenticated user with low-privileged access, such as the Monitor role, to view sensitive system properties and JVM configuration details that should be restricted. |
| A path traversal flaw was found in WildFly's domain mode
implementation. The LocalFileRepository.getFile() and
getConfigurationFile() methods in
wildfly-core/deployment-repository do not validate that the
resolved file path remains within the configured repository or
configuration root directories. A remote attacker who has
obtained the slave host controller secret or compromised a slave
host controller can supply a crafted relative path containing
directory traversal sequences (e.g., ../../etc/passwd) via the
slave-DC wire protocol, causing the Domain Controller to resolve
and serve arbitrary files readable by the DC process. This leads
to unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information such as
configuration files, keystores, and system credentials. |
| Wildfly's IIOP listener may permit deserialization of input streams before authentication is performed. An attacker who can gain access to the IIOP port may be able to construct and send malicious objects and achieve deserialization, if the target EJB allows untyped method parameters, and depending on the potential gadget chains available in the running classpath. |
| In onStrongAuthRequiredChanged of UsbService.java, there is a possible unauthenticated enabling of USB data due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to physical escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In onCreate of SettingsApplication.java, there is a possible cross-profile consent dialog label injection due to improper input validation. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| DateTime::Lite versions before 0.8.1 for Perl allow CPU exhaustion via a per-day loop when adding seconds.
_normalize_leap_seconds crosses day boundaries one day at a time, so add(seconds => $n) on an object with a non-floating time zone takes about |$n|/86400 iterations, and nothing limits $n. The XS implementation and the pure-Perl fallback both have the loop.
An attacker who controls the number of seconds added can keep the process busy for as long as they choose. |
| The reply function in ftpd.c in the gssftp ftpd in MIT Kerberos 5 (krb5) does not initialize the length variable when auth_type has a certain value, which has unknown impact and remote authenticated attack vectors. NOTE: the original disclosure misidentifies the conditions under which the uninitialized variable is used. NOTE: the vendor disputes this issue, stating " The 'length' variable is only uninitialized if 'auth_type' is neither the 'KERBEROS_V4' nor 'GSSAPI'; this condition cannot occur in the unmodified source code. |
| The Symfony Config component XmlUtils::parse() enables DTD validation before rejecting documents that carry a doctype, allowing XML external entity (XXE) injection in Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. A remote attacker who can supply XML to this method can determine whether local files exist, cause a denial of service, and, in some configurations, exfiltrate local file content via a crafted XML document whose doctype declares an external file:// entity.
XmlUtils::parse() sets $dom->validateOnParse = true before calling loadXML() and only rejects documents carrying a doctype afterwards. Enabling DTD validation makes libxml resolve external entities during loadXML(), and LIBXML_NONET blocks http:// but not file://, so a file:// entity is read from disk before the doctype rejection runs. The content of the file is not returned to the caller, but the distinct libxml error for a missing path reveals whether a file exists, and an entity pointing at a large or slow file causes a denial of service. If the application registers a network-capable stream wrapper such as s3://, a parameter entity can also send the content of a local file to an external server. This is the same issue as CVE-2026-45071, which was fixed in the DomCrawler component but not in Config.
Applications are affected if they pass untrusted XML to XmlUtils::parse() directly. The Symfony components that call it process developer-provided or operator-configured sources, such as configuration files and the XLIFF documents fetched by the translation providers. |
| In multiple locations, there is a possible permission bypass due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In handleMessage of UsbDeviceManager.java, there is a possible lock-screen bypass due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to physical information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In checkQueryPermission of TelephonyProvider.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In validateImageInfo of Bitmap.cpp, there is a possible out-of-bounds read due to a precondition check failure. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In l2c_fcr_process_peer_cfg_req of l2c_fcr.cc, there is a possible memory safety issue due to an integer overflow. This could lead to remote information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |

| The `ClusterRenderingService.dump()` method, accessible to processes holding `android.permission.DUMP` and `android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS`, acts as a confused deputy. It allows attackers to write arbitrary values to `Settings.Global.OVERLAY_DISPLAY_DEVICES`, an operation normally requiring `android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS`, enabling persistent creation of system overlay displays and injection of key events into the cluster UI. |
| CallBackery versions before 0.62.0 for Perl store user passwords as unsalted HMAC-SHA1 hashes.
Passwords are hashed with hmac_sha1_sum() from Mojo::Util with no key, a single fast SHA-1 HMAC. There is no salt, so equal passwords give equal hashes, and no work factor slows down guessing.
An attacker who obtains the user table can recover passwords by fast offline guessing. |
