CVSS v3.1 |
| A path traversal vulnerability was found in pulpcore. The relative_path_validator function only verifies that content paths do not begin with "/" but fails to block directory traversal sequences such as "../" anywhere in the path. An authenticated administrator can craft a relative_path containing embedded traversal sequences (e.g., "looking/normal/../../../../etc/shadow") that escapes the intended export directory during FilesystemExport operations. Because the file content is also user-controlled (uploaded artifact), this allows arbitrary file write to any location writable by the Pulp service user, potentially leading to service compromise or further system exploitation. |
| Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Deletion in Participants Database <= 2.7.8.3 versions. |
| The Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce (Pro) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.7 via the 'thwcfe_legacy_file' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. |
| Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.7, LTS2026 release version 8.6.1.0 through 8.6.1.10, LTS2025 release version 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.30, LTS2024 release versions 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.70 contain an improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access to the system. This is a critical severity vulnerability as it allows an attacker to take complete control of system; so Dell recommends customers to upgrade at the earliest opportunity. |
| An unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability exists in the web management interface of WTI (Wireless Technology, Inc.) version 3.5.0.r 2024/05/24 00:00:00. An unauthenticated attacker can craft malicious HTTP requests containing traversal sequences to access files outside of the intended web root directory. This may allow disclosure of sensitive system files and configuration data |
| In Eclipse BaSyx Java Server SDK versions 2.0.0-milestone-05 to 2.0.0-milestone-12, deployments using the MongoDB backend are vulnerable to an unauthenticated arbitrary file write through the AAS thumbnail API.
The AAS thumbnail upload path accepted a client-controlled fileName request parameter and passed it through repository file handling as both a repository key and, during thumbnail retrieval, a local filesystem path. With the MongoDB file repository, the supplied filename was treated as an opaque GridFS key and was not normalized or restricted as a filesystem path. A remote attacker could upload thumbnail content using an absolute or traversal-style filename, then trigger thumbnail retrieval so that the uploaded bytes were written to the attacker-chosen path on the server filesystem.
This could allow writing files anywhere the Java process has permission to write and may lead to remote code execution. The default InMemory backend is not affected by this specific path because it normalizes and restricts file paths to its temporary directory.
The issue is fixed in Eclipse BaSyx Java Server SDK 2.0.0-milestone-13. |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits and Throttling and Sensitive Information in Resource Not Removed Before Reuse in the ASUS System Control Interface driver and ASUS Business Manager allow a local administrator to disclose sensitive information via crafted IOCTL requests, which, in severe cases, may lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) on the system.
Refer to the '
Security Update for ASUS System Control Interface ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| Directory Traversal vulnerability in Menyoo 2.0 Versions before commit 729aa48: fixed in commit 729aa48 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the Spooner file management, VehicleSpawner save/folder/rename functionality, WeaponOptions save/folder/rename functionality, PedComponentChanger create folder/createfile/rename functionality. |
| Contao is an Open Source CMS. In versions 5.7.0 through 5.7.6, an authenticated backend user who can access one job can request an attachment identifier containing ../ segments and make the job attachment download endpoint read a file from another job directory inside var/job-attachments. The controller authorizes only the jobUuid route parameter. The later attachment lookup joins that authorized job UUID with the attacker-controlled identifier, then passes the combined path to the virtual filesystem. VirtualFilesystem::resolve() canonicalizes the whole path and only rejects paths that escape the filesystem mount, so authorized-job/../victim-job/debug_log.csv becomes victim-job/debug_log.csv. This is a cross-job authorization bypass for known job attachment paths. It is not a practical brute-force against unknown jobs because job directories are UUID v4 values. |
| Cloudreve is a self-hosted file management and sharing system. Prior to 4.17.0, the WOPI PUT_RELATIVE handler passes X-WOPI-SuggestedTarget to URI.JoinRaw as a path rather than a filename, allowing slash and dot-dot segments to escape the source file directory and create or conditionally overwrite files elsewhere in the same owner account. This issue is fixed in version 4.17.0. |
| Apache Kyuubi REST batch multipart upload handling uses the client-supplied multipart filename when creating a temporary uploaded resource. A remote attacker who can access the REST batch upload endpoint can provide path traversal sequences in the filename and cause the Kyuubi server process to write controlled content outside the intended upload directory, subject to filesystem permissions.
This issue affects Apache Kyuubi: from 1.7.0 through 1.11.1.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.12.0, which fixes the issue. |
| Path traversal vulnerability in Apache Zeppelin. When FileSystemNotebookRepo is configured, an authenticated attacker with permission to rename a note, or access to folder operations, could supply traversal segments in note or folder paths. Zeppelin composed these values into filesystem paths using the server's filesystem or Hadoop identity without ensuring that the result remained under the configured notebook directory. This could allow notebook files or directories to be moved, written, or deleted outside the notebook root. This issue affects Apache Zeppelin versions 0.9.0 through 0.12.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.12.1, which fixes this issue. |
| IBM App Connect Enterprise 13.0.1.0 through 13.0.7.2, and 12.0.1.0 through 12.0.12.27 could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to write arbitrary files on the system. |
| A malicious actor with access to the network could exploit a Path Traversal vulnerability found in UniFi Protect Floodlight devices to access files on the UniFi Protect Floodlight. |
| Dell Unisphere for PowerMax, version(s) 10.3.0.5 and prior, contain(s) a path traversal vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability to read arbitrary files. |
| OpenBMB XAgent v1.0.0 and before is vulnerable to path traversal in the file() function in XAgent/XAgentServer/application/routers/workspace.py. The input parameter “filename” is user-controllable and is concatenated into the file path to be read without proper validation, leading to a directory traversal vulnerability that may result in sensitive information disclosure. |
| A potential path traversal vulnerability was reported in Lenovo App Store, distributed exclusively in the Chinese market, that could allow a local authenticated user to execute arbitrary code. |
| ColdFusion is affected by an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary file system read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive files and directories outside the intended access scope. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed. |

| Prompty is a markdown file format (.prompty) for LLM prompts. Prior to 2.0.0-beta.2, Prompty loaders expanded ${file:...} references in .prompty frontmatter without enforcing that resolved paths stayed within the prompt directory or allowed roots, allowing an attacker-controlled prompt file to read local files through absolute paths, .. traversal, or symlink escapes. This issue is fixed in versions 2.0.0-beta.2. |
