CVE-2026-80532 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-26 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: fix another iunlink infinite loop bug in online fsck xrep_iunlink_resolve_bucket is supposed to reconstruct as much of the incore prev and next unlinked list pointers based on what it finds on disk and in memory before we move on to relinking the truly lost inodes back into the unlinked list. However, it's still vulnerable to infinite loops that come in via the next_unlinked pointers. Fix this problem by remembering which inodes we've already seen and checking new agino pointers against that. If a bit is already set, either this is a loop or the inode has nonzero link count. We'll deal with the second case in a subsequent patch.
CVE-2026-42013 2 Gnu, Redhat 15 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 12 more 2026-08-26 8.2 High
A flaw was found in gnutls. When validating certificates, an oversized Subject Alternative Name (SAN) could cause the validation process to incorrectly fall back to checking the Common Name (CN) field. This could allow a remote attacker to bypass proper certificate validation, potentially leading to spoofing or man-in-the-middle attacks.
CVE-2026-42011 1 Redhat 14 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 11 more 2026-08-26 7.4 High
A flaw was found in gnutls. This vulnerability occurs because permitted name constraints were incorrectly ignored when previous Certificate Authorities (CAs) only had excluded name constraints. A remote attacker could exploit this to bypass critical name constraint checks during certificate validation. This bypass could lead to the acceptance of invalid certificates, potentially enabling spoofing or man-in-the-middle attacks against affected systems.
CVE-2026-14476 2 Redhat, Sssd 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more 2026-08-26 8 High
A path traversal flaw was found in SSSD's AD GPO provider. The ad_gpo_extract_smb_components() function does not sanitize .. sequences in the gPCFileSysPath LDAP attribute, allowing an attacker with AD GPO management access to write files outside the GPO cache directory as root. On default RHEL configurations with SELinux enforcing, this can be used to inject Kerberos configuration leading to authentication bypass.
CVE-2026-5260 2 Gnu, Redhat 14 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 11 more 2026-08-26 8.2 High
A flaw was found in libgnutls. A remote attacker, by sending an extremely short premaster secret during an RSA key exchange to a server using an RSA key backed by a PKCS#11 token, could trigger a short heap overread. This memory corruption vulnerability could lead to information disclosure.
CVE-2026-2340 2 Redhat, Samba 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 7 more 2026-08-26 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in Samba’s vfs_worm module. The module is intended to provide write-once, read-many (WORM) protections by preventing modification of files after a configurable grace period. Due to insufficient validation during rename operations, an authenticated user with write access to a share could overwrite a protected file by renaming a newly created file over the existing WORM-protected file.
CVE-2026-54344 1 Tooljet 1 Tooljet 2026-08-26 4.7 Medium
ToolJet is an open-source low-code platform for building internal tools. Prior to 3.20.180, ToolJet's render preview deployment workflow interpolates github.event.comment.body directly into a bash conditional in a run step, allowing any GitHub user who can comment on an open pull request with a deploy command to execute shell commands on the CI runner and exfiltrate deployment secrets. This issue is reported as fixed in version 3.20.180.
CVE-2026-59887 1 Markdown-it 1 Linkify-it 2026-08-26 7.5 High
linkify-it is a links recognition library with full Unicode support. Prior to 5.0.2, the mailto: schema validator used by .test() and .match() can be invoked at every mailto: occurrence and scan the remaining input through src_email_name in lib/re.mjs, causing O(n^2) CPU consumption on crafted user text. This issue is fixed in version 5.0.2.
CVE-2026-4897 2 Freedesktop, Redhat 4 Polkit, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-08-26 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in polkit. A local user can exploit this by providing a specially crafted, excessively long input to the `polkit-agent-helper-1` setuid binary via standard input (stdin). This unbounded input can lead to an out-of-memory (OOM) condition, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the system.
CVE-2026-58192 1 Appium 2 Appium, Appium\/storage-plugin 2026-08-26 8.6 High
Appium is a cross-platform automation framework for all kinds of apps, built on top of the W3C WebDriver protocol. Prior to 1.1.6, the Appium storage plugin exposes POST /storage/delete, whose handler passes the user-supplied name value directly into path.join(storageRoot, name) and fs.rimraf() without path sanitization, allowing an unauthenticated remote client to escape the storage root with ../ sequences and recursively delete arbitrary writable files or directories. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.6.
CVE-2026-59723 1 Cline 1 Cline 2026-08-26 8.8 High
Cline is an autonomous coding agent as an SDK, IDE extension, or CLI assistant. Prior to 3.0.30, the Cline Hub dashboard server launched by the cline dashboard command accepts WebSocket connections on the /browser endpoint without validating the Origin header, and when ROOM_SECRET is unset for local 127.0.0.1 binds, isAuthorizedBrowserRequest() allows attacker-controlled websites to send desktopCommand frames that read workspace state, mutate MCP and provider settings, and trigger command execution when a provider or model is configured. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.30.
CVE-2026-79258 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-08-26 6.5 Medium
Incorrect authorization in WebXR in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to obtain cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-16242 1 Redhat 10 Acm, Advanced Cluster Management For Kubernetes, Logging and 7 more 2026-08-26 9.4 Critical
A flaw was found in the Konnectivity proxy-server configuration for hosted control planes. The agent-facing listener was started without --cluster-ca-cert (and without token-based agent authentication), so client certificates were not validated. A remote attacker who can reach the Konnectivity cluster endpoint could connect as an unauthenticated agent, join the routing pool, and potentially proxy, inspect, modify, or drop control-plane-to-node traffic.
CVE-2025-12945 1 Netgear 2 R7000p, R7000p Firmware 2026-08-26 2.4 Low
An improper input validation vulnerability in the NETGEAR Nighthawk R7000P (end of service) routers lets an authenticated administrator with local network access to the device, to execute OS command injections and make unauthorized modifications to the router software and functionality impacting its integrity. There is no additional impact to confidentiality or availability. This issue affects R7000P: through 1.3.3.154.
CVE-2026-7487 1 Gitlab 1 Gitlab 2026-08-26 3.5 Low
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 13.1 before 19.1.7, 19.2 before 19.2.5, and 19.3 before 19.3.1 that, under certain conditions, an authenticated user with reporter-role permissions who authored a merge request could have reset merge request approval rules due to improper authorization checks.
CVE-2026-79902 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-08-26 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in the Seattle FilmWorks plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted SFW image file, the plugin allocates a Variable-Length Array (VLA) on the stack without integer overflow checks, causing an unbounded stack allocation. This issue leads to an application crash, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2026-77533 2026-08-26 9.9 Critical
A malicious actor with access to the network and low privileges could exploit an Improper Input Validation vulnerability found in UniFi Protect Application to execute a Command Injection on the host device.
CVE-2026-76391 1 Splunk 1 Ai Toolkit 2026-08-26 8.3 High
In Splunk AI Toolkit versions below 6.0.0, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could run searches with system-level privileges, access all relevant data, affect system integrity, and read or delete search jobs belonging to other users through Agent Run History. The improper privilege management is possible because the Agent Run History handler replaces the calling user session key with a system authentication token before it performs search operations. For more information see AI Toolkit Agent Launchpad (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/apply-machine-learning/use-ai-toolkit/6.0.0/ai-toolkit-connections-containers-and-agents/ai-toolkit-agent-launchpad) in the Splunk documentation.
