CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: ath11k: Clear affinity hint before calling ath11k_pcic_free_irq() in error path
If a shared IRQ is used by the driver due to platform limitation, then the
IRQ affinity hint is set right after the allocation of IRQ vectors in
ath11k_pci_alloc_msi(). This does no harm unless one of the functions
requesting the IRQ fails and attempt to free the IRQ. This results in the
below warning:
WARNING: CPU: 7 PID: 349 at kernel/irq/manage.c:1929 free_irq+0x278/0x29c
Call trace:
free_irq+0x278/0x29c
ath11k_pcic_free_irq+0x70/0x10c [ath11k]
ath11k_pci_probe+0x800/0x820 [ath11k_pci]
local_pci_probe+0x40/0xbc
The warning is due to not clearing the affinity hint before freeing the
IRQs.
So to fix this issue, clear the IRQ affinity hint before calling
ath11k_pcic_free_irq() in the error path. The affinity will be cleared once
again further down the error path due to code organization, but that does
no harm.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cachestat: do not flush stats in recency check
syzbot detects that cachestat() is flushing stats, which can sleep, in its
RCU read section (see [1]). This is done in the workingset_test_recent()
step (which checks if the folio's eviction is recent).
Move the stat flushing step to before the RCU read section of cachestat,
and skip stat flushing during the recency check.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
arm64: dts: qcom: x1e80100: Add GPU cooling
Unlike the CPU, the GPU does not throttle its speed automatically when it
reaches high temperatures. With certain high GPU loads it is possible to
reach the critical hardware shutdown temperature of 120°C, endangering the
hardware and making it impossible to run certain applications.
Set up GPU cooling similar to the ACPI tables, by throttling the GPU speed
when reaching 95°C and polling every 200ms. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: Don't treat wb connector as physical in create_validate_stream_for_sink
Don't try to operate on a drm_wb_connector as an amdgpu_dm_connector.
While dereferencing aconnector->base will "work" it's wrong and
might lead to unknown bad things. Just... don't. |

&page->dma, mem_flags);

}
kmalloc was called with mem_flags, which is passed down in
cdns3_allocate_trb_pool() and have GFP_DMA32 flags.
kmall_fix_flags() report warning.
GFP_DMA32 is not useful at all. dma_alloc_coherent() will handle
DMA memory region correctly by pool->dev. GFP_DMA32 can be removed
safely. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ice: fix Tx scheduler error handling in XDP callback
When the XDP program is loaded, the XDP callback adds new Tx queues.
This means that the callback must update the Tx scheduler with the new
queue number. In the event of a Tx scheduler failure, the XDP callback
should also fail and roll back any changes previously made for XDP
preparation.
The previous implementation had a bug that not all changes made by the
XDP callback were rolled back. This caused the crash with the following

q_vectors and setting the XDP rings pointer back to NULL after all those
queues are released.
Also, add an immediate exit from the XDP callback in case of ring
preparation failure. |

Bluetooth: MGMT: reject malformed HCI_CMD_SYNC commands
In 'mgmt_hci_cmd_sync()', check whether the size of parameters passed
in 'struct mgmt_cp_hci_cmd_sync' matches the total size of the data
(i.e. 'sizeof(struct mgmt_cp_hci_cmd_sync)' plus trailing bytes).
Otherwise, large invalid 'params_len' will cause 'hci_cmd_sync_alloc()'
to do 'skb_put_data()' from an area beyond the one actually passed to
'mgmt_hci_cmd_sync()'. |
| A flaw was found in Aardvark-dns, which is vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack due to the serial processing of TCP DNS queries. An attacker can exploit this flaw by keeping a TCP connection open indefinitely, causing the server to become unresponsive and resulting in other DNS queries timing out. This issue prevents legitimate users from accessing DNS services, thereby disrupting normal operations and causing service downtime. |
| An incomplete fix for CVE-2023-1625 was found in openstack-heat. Sensitive information may possibly be disclosed through the OpenStack stack abandon command with the hidden feature set to True and the CVE-2023-1625 fix applied. |
