Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition, Oracle GraalVM for JDK accessible data. Note: This vulnerability applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. This vulnerability does not apply to Java deployments, typically in servers, that load and run only trusted code (e.g., code installed by an administrator). CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.1 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N). |
| A flaw was found in Cockpit. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to achieve arbitrary command execution on the host by exploiting unsanitized user-controlled parameters within crafted links in the system logs user interface (UI). An attacker can inject shell metacharacters and command substitutions into these parameters, leading to the execution of arbitrary shell commands on the affected system. This could result in a complete system compromise. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in Safari 18.2, iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2, iPadOS 17.7.6, macOS Sequoia 15.2, tvOS 18.2, visionOS 2.2, watchOS 11.2. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to an unexpected process crash. |

| When rendering certain unicode sequences, grub2's font code doesn't proper validate if the informed glyph's width and height is constrained within bitmap size. As consequence an attacker can craft an input which will lead to a out-of-bounds write into grub2's heap, leading to memory corruption and availability issues. Although complex, arbitrary code execution could not be discarded. |

| A flaw was found in Corosync. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit a wrong return value vulnerability in the Corosync membership commit token sanity check by sending a specially crafted User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packet. This can lead to an out-of-bounds read, causing a denial of service (DoS) and potentially disclosing limited memory contents |
| A flaw was found in Corosync. An integer overflow vulnerability in Corosync's join message sanity validation allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to send crafted User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packets. This can cause the service to crash, leading to a denial of service. This vulnerability specifically affects Corosync deployments configured to use totemudp/totemudpu mode. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
HID: core: zero-initialize the report buffer
Since the report buffer is used by all kinds of drivers in various ways, let's
zero-initialize it during allocation to make sure that it can't be ever used
to leak kernel memory via specially-crafted report. |
| This issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in Safari 18.5, iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5, macOS Sequoia 15.5, tvOS 18.5, visionOS 2.5, watchOS 11.5. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to an unexpected Safari crash. |
| The net/http package improperly accepts a bare LF as a line terminator in chunked data chunk-size lines. This can permit request smuggling if a net/http server is used in conjunction with a server that incorrectly accepts a bare LF as part of a chunk-ext. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ndisc: use RCU protection in ndisc_alloc_skb()
ndisc_alloc_skb() can be called without RTNL or RCU being held.
Add RCU protection to avoid possible UAF. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vsock: Keep the binding until socket destruction
Preserve sockets bindings; this includes both resulting from an explicit
bind() and those implicitly bound through autobind during connect().
Prevents socket unbinding during a transport reassignment, which fixes a
use-after-free:
1. vsock_create() (refcnt=1) calls vsock_insert_unbound() (refcnt=2)
2. transport->release() calls vsock_remove_bound() without checking if
sk was bound and moved to bound list (refcnt=1)
3. vsock_bind() assumes sk is in unbound list and before
__vsock_insert_bound(vsock_bound_sockets()) calls
__vsock_remove_bound() which does:
list_del_init(&vsk->bound_table); // nop
sock_put(&vsk->sk); // refcnt=0
