CVE-2026-4480 2 Redhat, Samba 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more 2026-06-23 9 Critical
A flaw was found in the Samba printing subsystem. Samba passes the client-controlled job description string to the command configured with the "print command" setting via the "%J" substitution character without escaping shell meta characters. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted print job description that contains unescaped shell characters. This could lead to remote code execution on the affected system.
CVE-2026-3195 2 Qemu, Redhat 3 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-06-22 7.4 High
A flaw was found in QEMU. When reading input audio in the virtio-snd device input callback, the `virtio_snd_pcm_in_cb` function did not check whether the iov could fit the data buffer, potentially leading to a heap out-of-bounds write. This issue exists due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2024-7730.
CVE-2026-9064 1 Redhat 12 389 Directory Server, Directory Server, Directory Server E4s and 9 more 2026-06-18 7.5 High
A flaw was found in 389-ds-base. The get_ldapmessage_controls_ext() function in the LDAP server does not enforce an upper bound on the number of controls per LDAP message. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a specially crafted LDAP request containing hundreds of thousands of minimal controls within the default maximum BER message size (2 MB), causing excessive CPU consumption and heap allocation on the server. Under concurrent exploitation, this leads to significant latency degradation, worker thread starvation, or out-of-memory termination, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2025-5372 2 Libssh, Redhat 8 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 5 more 2026-06-15 5 Medium
A flaw was found in libssh versions built with OpenSSL versions older than 3.0, specifically in the ssh_kdf() function responsible for key derivation. Due to inconsistent interpretation of return values where OpenSSL uses 0 to indicate failure and libssh uses 0 for success—the function may mistakenly return a success status even when key derivation fails. This results in uninitialized cryptographic key buffers being used in subsequent communication, potentially compromising SSH sessions' confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
CVE-2026-11850 1 Redhat 5 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 2 more 2026-06-12 5 Medium
An integer underflow vulnerability was found in MIT krb5 in the berval2tl_data() function in plugins/kdb/ldap/libkdb_ldap/ldap_principal2.c. The function performs an unsigned subtraction (bv_len - 2) without a prior bounds check. When bv_len is 0 or 1, the subtraction wraps to a large value which is then truncated to uint16_t, yielding 0xFFFE (65534) or 0xFFFF (65535). The subsequent malloc succeeds and memcpy reads up to 65534 bytes from a 0-1 byte buffer, resulting in a heap out-of-bounds read. The attack vector involves a malicious or compromised LDAP KDB backend returning a krbExtraData attribute with bv_len < 2, triggering the underflow when the KDC or kadmind reads principal data.
CVE-2026-45591 4 Apple, Linux, Microsoft and 1 more 8 Macos, Linux Kernel, .net and 5 more 2026-06-10 7.5 High
Uncontrolled resource consumption in ASP.NET Core allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network.
CVE-2026-45491 4 Apple, Linux, Microsoft and 1 more 6 Macos, Linux Kernel, .net and 3 more 2026-06-10 6.2 Medium
Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to perform tampering locally.
CVE-2026-4424 2 Libarchive, Redhat 21 Libarchive, Ai Inference Server, Discovery and 18 more 2026-06-10 7.5 High
A flaw was found in libarchive. This heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the RAR archive processing logic due to improper validation of the LZSS sliding window size after transitions between compression methods. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted RAR archive, leading to the disclosure of sensitive heap memory information without requiring authentication or user interaction.
CVE-2026-4111 1 Redhat 11 Ai Inference Server, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 8 more 2026-06-10 7.5 High
A flaw was identified in the RAR5 archive decompression logic of the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_data() processing path. When a specially crafted RAR5 archive is processed, the decompression routine may enter a state where internal logic prevents forward progress. This condition results in an infinite loop that continuously consumes CPU resources. Because the archive passes checksum validation and appears structurally valid, affected applications cannot detect the issue before processing. This can allow attackers to cause persistent denial-of-service conditions in services that automatically process archives.
CVE-2026-11837 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openstack, Openstack Platform 2026-06-10 7.3 High
A local privilege escalation vulnerability was found in the ansible.posix authorized_key module. The module's keyfile() function uses os.chown() instead of os.lchown() and opens files without O_NOFOLLOW when managing SSH authorized keys. An unprivileged local user can pre-stage symbolic links in their ~/.ssh directory to redirect file ownership changes to arbitrary system paths when an operator runs the authorized_key task as root, leading to local privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-3238 2 Redhat, Samba 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more 2026-06-09 7.5 High
A flaw was found in Samba’s WINS server component when running as an Active Directory Domain Controller. The WINS protocol handlers for certain request types did not properly validate incoming packets, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to trigger a NULL pointer dereference and crash the WINS service using specially crafted UDP packets.
CVE-2026-3497 5 Canonical, Debian, Openbsd and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Openssh and 2 more 2026-06-02 7.5 High
Vulnerability in the OpenSSH GSSAPI delta included in various Linux distributions. This vulnerability affects the GSSAPI patches added by various Linux distributions and does not affect the OpenSSH upstream project itself. The usage of sshpkt_disconnect() on an error, which does not terminate the process, allows an attacker to send an unexpected GSSAPI message type during the GSSAPI key exchange to the server, which will call the underlying function and continue the execution of the program without setting the related connection variables. As the variables are not initialized to NULL the code later accesses those uninitialized variables, accessing random memory, which could lead to undefined behavior. The recommended workaround is to use ssh_packet_disconnect() instead, which does terminate the process. The impact of the vulnerability depends heavily on the compiler flag hardening configuration.
CVE-2022-49961 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-06-01 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Do mark_chain_precision for ARG_CONST_ALLOC_SIZE_OR_ZERO Precision markers need to be propagated whenever we have an ARG_CONST_* style argument, as the verifier cannot consider imprecise scalars to be equivalent for the purposes of states_equal check when such arguments refine the return value (in this case, set mem_size for PTR_TO_MEM). The resultant mem_size for the R0 is derived from the constant value, and if the verifier incorrectly prunes states considering them equivalent where such arguments exist (by seeing that both registers have reg->precise as false in regsafe), we can end up with invalid programs passing the verifier which can do access beyond what should have been the correct mem_size in that explored state. To show a concrete example of the problem: 0000000000000000 <prog>: 0: r2 = *(u32 *)(r1 + 80) 1: r1 = *(u32 *)(r1 + 76) 2: r3 = r1 3: r3 += 4 4: if r3 > r2 goto +18 <LBB5_5> 5: w2 = 0 6: *(u32 *)(r1 + 0) = r2 7: r1 = *(u32 *)(r1 + 0) 8: r2 = 1 9: if w1 == 0 goto +1 <LBB5_3> 10: r2 = -1 0000000000000058 <LBB5_3>: 11: r1 = 0 ll 13: r3 = 0 14: call bpf_ringbuf_reserve 15: if r0 == 0 goto +7 <LBB5_5> 16: r1 = r0 17: r1 += 16777215 18: w2 = 0 19: *(u8 *)(r1 + 0) = r2 20: r1 = r0 21: r2 = 0 22: call bpf_ringbuf_submit 00000000000000b8 <LBB5_5>: 23: w0 = 0 24: exit For the first case, the single line execution's exploration will prune the search at insn 14 for the branch insn 9's second leg as it will be verified first using r2 = -1 (UINT_MAX), while as w1 at insn 9 will always be 0 so at runtime we don't get error for being greater than UINT_MAX/4 from bpf_ringbuf_reserve. The verifier during regsafe just sees reg->precise as false for both r2 registers in both states, hence considers them equal for purposes of states_equal. If we propagated precise markers using the backtracking support, we would use the precise marking to then ensure that old r2 (UINT_MAX) was within the new r2 (1) and this would never be true, so the verification would rightfully fail. The end result is that the out of bounds access at instruction 19 would be permitted without this fix. Note that reg->precise is always set to true when user does not have CAP_BPF (or when subprog count is greater than 1 (i.e. use of any static or global functions)), hence this is only a problem when precision marks need to be explicitly propagated (i.e. privileged users with CAP_BPF). A simplified test case has been included in the next patch to prevent future regressions.

CVE-2016-9535 2 Libtiff, Redhat 2 Libtiff, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-29 9.8 Critical
tif_predict.h and tif_predict.c in libtiff 4.0.6 have assertions that can lead to assertion failures in debug mode, or buffer overflows in release mode, when dealing with unusual tile size like YCbCr with subsampling. Reported as MSVR 35105, aka "Predictor heap-buffer-overflow."
CVE-2016-6210 2 Openbsd, Redhat 2 Openssh, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-29 5.9 Medium
sshd in OpenSSH before 7.3, when SHA256 or SHA512 are used for user password hashing, uses BLOWFISH hashing on a static password when the username does not exist, which allows remote attackers to enumerate users by leveraging the timing difference between responses when a large password is provided.
