Grav Login plugin versions before 1.0.16 fail to validate the target account's privilege level in the onApiUserListRowAction unlock handler. An attacker with api.users.write permission can clear login lockout counters on admin.super accounts, removing brute-force protection from the highest-privilege accounts without requiring equivalent permissions.
Adminer before 5.4.3 uses a CSRF token scheme that transmits both the XOR mask and the masked value in every token (format (rand XOR secret):rand), allowing anyone who observes a single CSRF token (e.g., via network sniffing, log files, Referrer header, or XSS) to recover the session secret with a single XOR operation and forge unlimited valid tokens. The implementation is further weakened by a low-entropy session token (rand(1,1e6), ~20 bits) that permits blind brute-force, and by use of loose comparison (==) in token verification, enabling PHP type juggling. Exploitation enables cross-site request forgery against authenticated sessions, including execution of arbitrary SQL queries.
Adminer before 5.4.3 fails to sanitize the server field before constructing a PDO DSN string, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject ODBC parameters via semicolons. Attackers can inject TraceFile and TraceOn parameters to write PHP code to the web root, achieving remote code execution when the trace file is accessed.
CloudNativePG is a platform designed to manage PostgreSQL databases within Kubernetes environments. Prior to 1.28.4 and 1.29.2, CloudNativePG embedded cleartext role passwords in `ALTER ROLE` and `CREATE ROLE` statements generated by SetUserPassword in pkg/management/postgres/utils/roles.go and appendPasswordOption in internal/management/controller/roles/postgres.go. When pg_stat_statements was preloaded with track_utility enabled and an untrusted tenant held pg_monitor or pg_read_all_stats, the tenant could recover platform-managed superuser or application-owner passwords, reconnect through enabled superuser TCP access, and execute operating system commands in the database pod with `COPY ... FROM PROGRAM`. Clusters using SCRAM-SHA-256 verifiers in managed-role Secrets were not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 1.28.4, 1.29.2, and 1.30.0.
mcp-shell is an MCP server for running shell commands securely, auditably, and on demand. Prior to 0.6.0, config.go initializes Security.Enabled to false, and when MCP_SHELL_SEC_CONFIG_FILE is unset, main.go starts the documented bare-binary deployment without a security policy. SecurityValidator.validateCommand in security.go then short-circuits and allows every command supplied to the shell_exec MCP tool, so an LLM connected over stdio can execute unrestricted OS commands as the mcp-shell process user. The README from-source installation and MCP client configuration omit MCP_SHELL_SEC_CONFIG_FILE, making the insecure state the documented default. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.0.
OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. In versions 3.4.0 through 3.4.12, a reachable assertion failure in the HTJ2K decode path allows a crafted HTJ2K-compressed EXR file to cause an unconditional process abort in any application that calls exr_start_read() on untrusted input, resulting in denial of service. The crash is triggered by a QCD marker whose lower five bits are zero, which OpenEXR passes into the vendored OpenJPH library while constructing the codestream and evaluating its quantization delta parameters. OpenJPH uses an assertion rather than a recoverable error to validate those bits, so any invalid value calls abort() directly and cannot be intercepted by surrounding error handling, a problem compounded by OpenEXR wrapping only its internal HT header parser in error handling while leaving the later codestream read and construction calls unprotected. This issue has been resolved in version 3.4.13.
TREK is a collaborative travel planner. Prior to 3.1.0, when the Journey add-on is enabled, TREK interpolates the unescaped activeSuggestion.title value into journey.frontpage.suggestionText through client/src/i18n/TranslationContext.tsx and renders the result with dangerouslySetInnerHTML in client/src/pages/JourneyPage.tsx. A trip owner can store HTML in a qualifying trip title, and GET /api/journeys/suggestions returns that title through getSuggestions(userId) to a collaborator who opens the authenticated Journey page. The markup is inserted as live DOM in the collaborator's session, enabling content spoofing and UI redress, although the default Content Security Policy blocks inline handlers and script execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.0.
Ghidra before 12.1.3 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the PDB parser that allows attackers to terminate the Ghidra process by supplying a crafted PDB file with an oversized parameters section. The AbstractPdb deserialization routine reads all remaining parameters into an unbounded list, causing uncontrolled heap growth that triggers an OutOfMemoryError which bypasses exception handling and crashes the application.
BigBlueButton is an open-source virtual classroom. Prior to 3.0.23, BigBlueButton exposed /bigbluebutton/api/handleJoinExistingUser through bigbluebutton-web/grails-app/controllers/org/bigbluebutton/web/controllers/ApiController.groovy. A requester able to supply an existingUserID for an active participant could reuse that participant's session and impersonate the participant in the same meeting because handleJoinExistingUser was a routable controller action rather than a private helper. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.23.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting product of Oracle Hyperion (component: Server). The supported version that is affected is 11.2.25.0.000. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N).
The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Textarea Profile Field with HTML Support (DOM Gadget via id Attribute) in all versions up to, and including, 2.12.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is possible because the wp_kses 'templates' allowlist permits the id attribute on div elements but does not neutralize unescaped quotes within its value; when pickadate.js concatenates the stored id value into an HTML string via jQuery .html() on profile page load, the smuggled onfocus and autofocus attribute syntax breaks out of attribute context and executes as JavaScript.

IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information and cause a denial of service due to a kernel heap over-read.
IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a remote attacker to intercept messages and forge replies due to the exposure of sensitive information.
The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via Stored 'meta_key' via Event/Location Duplicate Action in all versions up to, and including, 7.4.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This is a second-order SQL injection: an attacker first plants SQL metacharacters in a custom meta key via the standard add-meta flow (WordPress stores these verbatim in wp_postmeta), then triggers the injection by invoking the event_duplicate or location_duplicate action, which reads the stored meta keys via get_post_meta() and concatenates them unsafely into the INSERT query.
