CVSS v3.1 |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in ueberauth guardian (Guardian.Permissions module) allows a denial of service via BEAM atom-table exhaustion.
This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/guardian/permissions.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Guardian.Permissions':encode_permissions!/1, 'Elixir.Guardian.Permissions':encode_permissions_into_claims!/2, 'Elixir.Guardian.Permissions':do_encode_permissions!/2.
The Guardian.Permissions mixin installs a public encode_permissions!/1 function on every module that does use Guardian.Permissions. For each key of the supplied map, encode_permissions!/1 calls String.to_atom(to_string(k)) before any validation runs. The integer-value clause of do_encode_permissions!/2 then short-circuits straight to encoding without validating the key against the configured permission set, so a key with an integer value is interned as a fresh atom with no exception raised. Atoms are never garbage collected and the BEAM atom table is a fixed-size resource (default roughly 1,048,576 entries), so each unique attacker-chosen key permanently consumes one slot. An attacker who can influence a permission map that reaches encode_permissions!/1 (for example a permissions map read from a request body and passed into token issuance via encode_permissions_into_claims!/2) can mint an unbounded number of atoms and exhaust the atom table, crashing the entire BEAM node and every service running on it. The sibling decode_permissions/1 is not affected because it skips keys absent from the configured permission set.
This issue affects guardian: from 2.0.0 before 2.4.1. |

Bluetooth: hci_conn: Fix memory leak in hci_le_big_terminate()
hci_le_big_terminate() allocates iso_list_data via kzalloc_obj but
returns 0 without freeing it when neither pa_sync_term nor big_sync_term
flags are set after evaluating the PA and BIG sync connection state.
This early-return path was introduced when hci_le_big_terminate() was
refactored to take struct hci_conn instead of raw u8 parameters, adding
PA/BIG flag evaluation logic. The existing kfree() on hci_cmd_sync_queue
failure does not cover this path. |

| Vulnerability in the MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster product of Oracle MySQL (component: Server: Replication). Supported versions that are affected are MySQL Server: 8.4.0-8.4.10, 9.7.0-9.7.1; MySQL Cluster: 8.0.0-8.0.47, 8.4.0-8.4.10 and 9.7.0-9.7.1. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: gadget: f_fs: Fix DMA fence leak
In ffs_dmabuf_transfer(), a ffs_dma_fence object is kmalloc'd, with the
underlying dma_fence later initialized by dma_fence_init(), which sets
its kref counter to 1. Then, dma_resv_add_fence() gets a second
reference, and a pointer to the ffs_dma_fence is passed as the
usb_request's "context" field.
The dma-resv mechanism will manage the second reference, but the first
reference is never properly released; the ffs_dmabuf_cleanup() function
decreases the reference count, but only to balance with the reference
grab in ffs_dmabuf_signal_done().
The code will then slowly leak memory as more ffs_dma_fence objects are
created without being ever freed.
Address this issue by transferring ownership of the fence to the DMA
reservation object, by calling dma_fence_put() right after
dma_resv_add_fence(). The ffs_dma_fence then gets properly discarded
after being signalled. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: mtu3: unmap request DMA on queue failure
mtu3_gadget_queue() maps the request before checking whether
the QMU GPD ring can accept another transfer. the request is
returned with -EAGAIN before it is linked on the endpoint
request list if mtu3_prepare_transfer() fails.
Normal completion and dequeue paths unmap requests from
mtu3_req_complete(), but this error path never reaches that
helper, so the DMA mapping is left active. Unmap the request
before returning from the failed queue path. |
| Cloudreve is a self-hosted file management and sharing system. Prior to 4.17.0, the built-in thumbnail and avatar image decoders limit compressed file size but do not limit decoded pixel dimensions, allowing an authenticated user to submit a small PNG, JPEG, or GIF that triggers an unbounded allocation and terminates the Cloudreve process through fatal out-of-memory behavior. This issue is fixed in version 4.17.0. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC S7-PLCSIM Advanced (All versions). Affected devices do not properly handle high-volume multicast network traffic, which can exhaust available memory resources in the affected application. This could allow an unauthenticated attacker on the local network segment to cause a denial-of-service condition of the affected application. The affected application becomes inaccessible and requires a manual restart; no project data is lost. Successful exploitation requires a specific project configuration to be already active on the targeted instance. |
| In Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.17 and 1.7.x before 1.7.2, the TNEF decoder was subject to denial of service via a crafted compressed-RTF size. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ethtool: rss: fix indir_table and hkey leak on get_rxfh failure
rss_prepare_get() allocates the indirection table and hash key buffer
via rss_get_data_alloc(), then calls ops->get_rxfh() to populate them.
If get_rxfh() fails, the function returns an error without freeing
the allocation. |
