CVE-2026-43896 1 Jqlang 1 Jq 2026-05-13 6.2 Medium
jq is a command-line JSON processor. In 1.8.1 and earlier, unbounded recursion in jv_object_merge_recursive() allows a crafted jq program to crash the process with a segfault. The function is reachable through the * operator when both operands are objects.
CVE-2026-44777 1 Jqlang 1 Jq 2026-05-13 5.5 Medium
jq is a command-line JSON processor. In 1.8.2rc1 and earlier, the ordinary module loader recurses without cycle detection when two otherwise valid modules include each other.
CVE-2026-40612 1 Jqlang 1 Jq 2026-05-13 5.5 Medium
jq is a command-line JSON processor. In 1.8.1 and earlier, jv_contains recurses into nested arrays/objects with no depth limit. With a sufficiently nested input structure (built programmatically with reduce, since the JSON parser caps at depth 10000), the C stack is exhausted.
CVE-2026-45005 1 Openclaw 1 Openclaw 2026-05-12 6 Medium
OpenClaw before 2026.4.23 caches resolved webhook route secrets backed by SecretRef values, allowing stale secrets to remain valid after rotation and reload. Attackers with previously valid webhook route secrets can continue authenticating requests and invoking configured webhook task flows until gateway or plugin restart.
CVE-2026-44928 1 Uriparser Project 1 Uriparser 2026-05-12 2.9 Low
In uriparser before 1.0.2, the function family EqualsUri can misclassify two unequal URIs as equal.
CVE-2025-9714 2 Gnome, Xmlsoft 2 Libxml2, Libxml2 2026-05-12 6.2 Medium
Uncontrolled recursion in XPath evaluation in libxml2 up to and including version 2.9.14 allows a local attacker to cause a stack overflow via crafted expressions. XPath processing functions `xmlXPathRunEval`, `xmlXPathCtxtCompile`, and `xmlXPathEvalExpr` were resetting recursion depth to zero before making potentially recursive calls. When such functions were called recursively this could allow for uncontrolled recursion and lead to a stack overflow. These functions now preserve recursion depth across recursive calls, allowing recursion depth to be controlled.
CVE-2025-39795 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-05-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: avoid possible overflow for chunk_sectors check in blk_stack_limits() In blk_stack_limits(), we check that the t->chunk_sectors value is a multiple of the t->physical_block_size value. However, by finding the chunk_sectors value in bytes, we may overflow the unsigned int which holds chunk_sectors, so change the check to be based on sectors.
CVE-2024-35886 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-12 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: Fix infinite recursion in fib6_dump_done(). syzkaller reported infinite recursive calls of fib6_dump_done() during netlink socket destruction. [1] From the log, syzkaller sent an AF_UNSPEC RTM_GETROUTE message, and then the response was generated. The following recvmmsg() resumed the dump for IPv6, but the first call of inet6_dump_fib() failed at kzalloc() due to the fault injection. [0] 12:01:34 executing program 3: r0 = socket$nl_route(0x10, 0x3, 0x0) sendmsg$nl_route(r0, ... snip ...) recvmmsg(r0, ... snip ...) (fail_nth: 8) Here, fib6_dump_done() was set to nlk_sk(sk)->cb.done, and the next call of inet6_dump_fib() set it to nlk_sk(sk)->cb.args[3]. syzkaller stopped receiving the response halfway through, and finally netlink_sock_destruct() called nlk_sk(sk)->cb.done(). fib6_dump_done() calls fib6_dump_end() and nlk_sk(sk)->cb.done() if it is still not NULL. fib6_dump_end() rewrites nlk_sk(sk)->cb.done() by nlk_sk(sk)->cb.args[3], but it has the same function, not NULL, calling itself recursively and hitting the stack guard page. To avoid the issue, let's set the destructor after kzalloc(). CVE-2026-43185 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix signededness bug in smb_direct_prepare_negotiation() smb_direct_prepare_negotiation() casts an unsigned __u32 value from sp->max_recv_size and req->preferred_send_size to a signed int before computing min_t(int, ...). A maliciously provided preferred_send_size of 0x80000000 will return as smaller than max_recv_size, and then be used to set the maximum allowed alowed receive size for the next message. By sending a second message with a large value (>1420 bytes) the attacker can then achieve a heap buffer overflow. This fix replaces min_t(int, ...) with min_t(u32)
CVE-2026-44028 2 Lix Project, Nixos 2 Lix, Nix 2026-05-09 7.5 High
An issue was discovered in Nix before 2.34.7 and Lix before 2.95.2. Unbounded recursion in the NAR (Nix Archive) parser could lead to a stack-to-heap overflow when the parser is run on a coroutine stack. The stack is allocated without a guard page, which means that a stack overflow could overwrite memory on the heap and could allow arbitrary code execution as the Nix daemon (run as root in multi-user installations) if ASLR hardening is bypassed. This can be exploited by all users able to connect to the daemon (e.g., in Nix, this is configurable via the allowed-users setting, defaulting to all users). The fixed versions are 2.34.7, 2.33.6, 2.32.8, 2.31.5, 2.30.5, 2.29.4, and 2.28.7 for Nix (introduced in 2.24.4); and 2.95.2, 2.94.2, and 2.93.4 for Lix (introduced in 2.93.0).
CVE-2026-43585 1 Openclaw 1 Openclaw 2026-05-07 8.1 High
OpenClaw before 2026.4.15 captures resolved bearer-auth configuration at startup, allowing revoked tokens to remain valid after SecretRef rotation. Gateway HTTP and WebSocket handlers fail to re-resolve authentication per-request, enabling attackers to use rotated-out bearer tokens for unauthorized gateway access.
CVE-2026-35343 1 Uutils 1 Coreutils 2026-05-04 3.3 Low
The cut utility in uutils coreutils incorrectly handles the -s (only-delimited) option when a newline character is specified as the delimiter. The implementation fails to verify the only_delimited flag in the cut_fields_newline_char_delim function, causing the utility to print non-delimited lines that should have been suppressed. This can lead to unexpected data being passed to downstream scripts that rely on strict output filtering.

CVE-2026-39396 1 Openbao 1 Openbao 2026-05-01 3.1 Low
OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to version 2.5.3, `ExtractPluginFromImage()` in OpenBao's OCI plugin downloader extracts a plugin binary from a container image by streaming decompressed tar data via `io.Copy` with no upper bound on the number of bytes written. An attacker who controls or compromises the OCI registry referenced in the victim's configuration can serve a crafted image containing a decompression bomb that decompresses to an arbitrarily large file. The SHA256 integrity check occurs after the full file is written to disk, meaning the hash mismatch is detected only after the damage (disk exhaustion) has already occurred. This allow the attacker to replace **legit plugin image** with no need to change its signature. Version 2.5.3 contains a patch.
