CVSS v3.1 |
| The EduKart Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.3. This is due to the 'edukart_pro_register_user_front_end' function not restricting what user roles a user can register with. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to supply the 'administrator' role during registration and gain administrator access to the site. |
| The Tiger theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 101.2.1. This is due to the 'paypal-submit.php' file not restricting what user roles a user can register with. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to supply the 'administrator' role during registration and gain administrator access to the site. |
| The Dokan Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via account takeover in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.5. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity prior to updating their password during a staff password reset. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with vendor-level access and above, to elevate their privilege to the level of a staff member and then change arbitrary user passwords, including those of administrators in order to gain access to their accounts. By default, the plugin allows customers to become vendors. |
| Cursor is a code editor built for programming with AI. Prior to 2.3, hen the Cursor Agent is running in Auto-Run Mode with Allowlist mode enabled, certain shell built-ins can still be executed without appearing in the allowlist and without requiring user approval.
This allows an attacker via indirect or direct prompt injection to poison the shell environment by setting, modifying, or removing environment variables that influence trusted commands. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.3. |
| The LA-Studio Element Kit for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Administrative User Creation in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.6.3. This is due to the 'ajax_register_handle' function not restricting what user roles a user can register with. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to supply the 'lakit_bkrole' parameter during registration and gain administrator access to the site. |
| Improper privilege management vulnerability in Novakon P series allows attackers to gain root privileges if one service is compromized.This issue affects P series: P – V2001.A.C518o2 until P-2.0.05 Build
2026.02.06 (commit d0f97fd9). |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in ZTE ElasticNet UME R32 on Linux allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs.This issue affects ElasticNet UME R32: ElasticNet_UME_R32_V16.23.20.04. |
| ZPanel includes a helper binary named zsudo, intended to allow restricted privilege escalation for administrative tasks. However, when misconfigured in /etc/sudoers, zsudo can be invoked by low-privileged users to execute arbitrary commands as root. This flaw enables local attackers with shell access to escalate privileges by writing a payload to a writable directory and executing it via zsudo. The vulnerability is particularly impactful in post-exploitation scenarios following web server compromise, where the attacker inherits access to zsudo. |
| ADB(Android Debug Bridge) is affected by type privilege bypass, successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect service availability. |
| Kloxo versions 6.1.12 and earlier contain two setuid root binaries—lxsuexec and lxrestart—that allow local privilege escalation from uid 48. The lxsuexec binary performs a uid check and permits execution of arbitrary commands as root if the invoking user matches uid 48. This flaw enables attackers with Apache-level access to escalate privileges to root without authentication. |
| An improper privilege management vulnerability in OTRS Generic Interface module allows change of the Ticket status even if the user only has ro permissions.
This issue affects:
* OTRS 7.0.X
* OTRS 8.0.X
* OTRS 2023.X
* OTRS 2024.X
* ((OTRS)) Community Edition: 6.0.x
Products based on the ((OTRS)) Community Edition also very likely to be affected |
| An issue with WordPress directory names in WebPros WordPress Toolkit before 6.9.1 allows privilege escalation. |
| Pearcleaner is a free, source-available and fair-code licensed mac app cleaner. The PearcleanerHelper is a privileged helper tool bundled with the Pearcleaner application. It is registered and activated only after the user approves a system prompt to allow privileged operations. Upon approval, the helper is configured as a LaunchDaemon and runs with root privileges. In versions 4.4.0 through 4.5.1, the helper registers an XPC service (com.alienator88.Pearcleaner.PearcleanerHelper) and accepts unauthenticated connections from any local process. It exposes a method that executes arbitrary shell commands. This allows any local unprivileged user to escalate privileges to root once the helper is approved and active. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.2. |
| The RupsMon.exe service executable in UPSilon 2000 has insecure permissions, allowing the 'Everyone' group Full Control. A local attacker can replace the executable with a malicious binary to execute code with SYSTEM privileges or simply change the config path of the service to a command; starting and stopping the service to immediately achieve code execution and privilege escalation |
| Certain software builds for the TCL 20XE Android device contain a vulnerable, pre-installed app with a package name of com.tct.gcs.hiddenmenuproxy (versionCode='2', versionName='v11.0.1.0.0201.0') that allows local third-party apps to programmatically perform a factory reset due to inadequate access control. No permissions or special privileges are necessary to exploit the vulnerability in the com.tct.gcs.hiddenmenuproxy app. No user interaction is required beyond installing and running a third-party app. The software build fingerprints for each confirmed vulnerable build are as follows: TCL/5087Z_BO/Doha_TMO:11/RP1A.200720.011/PB7I-0:user/release-keys and TCL/5087Z_BO/Doha_TMO:11/RP1A.200720.011/PB83-0:user/release-keys. This malicious app sends a broadcast intent to the exported com.tct.gcs.hiddenmenuproxy/.rtn.FactoryResetReceiver receiver component, which initiates a programmatic factory reset. |
| CMService.exe creates the C:\\usr directory and subdirectories with insecure permissions, granting write access to all authenticated users. This allows attackers to replace configuration files (such as snmp.conf) or hijack DLLs to escalate privileges. |
| Entrust Instant Financial Issuance (formerly known as Cardwizard) 6.10.0, 6.9.0, 6.9.1, 6.9.2, and 6.8.x and earlier uses a DLL library (i.e. DCG.Security.dll) with a custom AES encryption process that relies on static hard-coded key values. These keys are not uniquely generated per installation of the software. Combined with the encrypted password that can be obtained from "WebAPI.cfg.xml" in CVE-2024-39341, the decryption is trivial and can lead to privilege escalation on the Windows host. |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in GE Vernova S1 Agile Configuration Software on Windows allows Privilege Escalation.This issue affects S1 Agile Configuration Software: 3.1 and previous version. |
| The SolarWinds Dameware Mini Remote Control was determined to be affected by Incorrect Permissions Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability requires local access and a valid low privilege account to be susceptible to this vulnerability. |
| An issue discovered in MSP360 Backup Agent v7.8.5.15 and v7.9.4.84 allows attackers to obtain network share credentials used in a backup due to enginesettings.list being encrypted with a hard coded key. |
