In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Hold net reference for the lifetime of /proc/fs/nfs/exports fd The /proc/fs/nfs/exports proc entry is created at module init and persists for the module's lifetime. exports_proc_open() captures the caller's current network namespace and stores its svc_export_cache in seq->private, but takes no reference on the namespace. If the namespace is subsequently torn down (e.g. container destruction after the opener does setns() to a different namespace), nfsd_net_exit() calls nfsd_export_shutdown() which frees the cache. Subsequent reads on the still-open fd dereference the freed cache_detail, walking a freed hash table. Hold a reference on the struct net for the lifetime of the open file descriptor. This prevents nfsd_net_exit() from running -- and thus prevents nfsd_export_shutdown() from freeing the cache -- while any exports fd is open. cache_detail already stores its net pointer (cd->net, set by cache_create_net()), so exports_release() can retrieve it without additional per-file storage.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: dvb-net: fix OOB access in ULE extension header tables The ule_mandatory_ext_handlers[] and ule_optional_ext_handlers[] tables in handle_one_ule_extension() are declared with 255 elements (valid indices 0-254), but the index htype is derived from network-controlled data as (ule_sndu_type & 0x00FF), giving a range of 0-255. When htype equals 255, an out-of-bounds read occurs on the function pointer table, and the OOB value may be called as a function pointer. Add a bounds check on htype against the array size before either table is accessed. Out-of-range values now cause the SNDU to be discarded.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: Wait for RCU readers during policy netns exit xfrm_policy_fini() frees the policy_bydst hash tables after flushing the policy work items and deleting all policies, but it does not wait for concurrent RCU readers to leave their read-side critical sections first. The policy_bydst tables are published via rcu_assign_pointer() and are looked up through rcu_dereference_check(), so netns teardown must also wait for an RCU grace period before freeing the table memory. Fix this by adding synchronize_rcu() before freeing the policy hash tables.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix kernel BUG in netfs_limit_iter() for ITER_KVEC iterators When a process crashes and the kernel writes a core dump to a 9P filesystem, __kernel_write() creates an ITER_KVEC iterator. This iterator reaches netfs_limit_iter() via netfs_unbuffered_write(), which only handles ITER_FOLIOQ, ITER_BVEC and ITER_XARRAY iterator types, hitting the BUG() for any other type. Fix this by adding netfs_limit_kvec() following the same pattern as netfs_limit_bvec(), since both kvec and bvec are simple segment arrays with pointer and length fields. Dispatch it from netfs_limit_iter() when the iterator type is ITER_KVEC.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: xilinx: xdma: Fix regmap init error handling devm_regmap_init_mmio returns an ERR_PTR() upon error, not NULL. Fix the error check and also fix the error message. Use the error code from ERR_PTR() instead of the wrong value in ret.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: validate MTU against usable frame size on bind AF_XDP bind currently accepts zero-copy pool configurations without verifying that the device MTU fits into the usable frame space provided by the UMEM chunk. This becomes a problem since we started to respect tailroom which is subtracted from chunk_size (among with headroom). 2k chunk size might not provide enough space for standard 1500 MTU, so let us catch such settings at bind time. Furthermore, validate whether underlying HW will be able to satisfy configured MTU wrt XSK's frame size multiplied by supported Rx buffer chain length (that is exposed via net_device::xdp_zc_max_segs).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix use-after-free in smb_lazy_parent_lease_break_close() opinfo pointer obtained via rcu_dereference(fp->f_opinfo) is being accessed after rcu_read_unlock() has been called. This creates a race condition where the memory could be freed by a concurrent writer between the unlock and the subsequent pointer dereferences (opinfo->is_lease, etc.), leading to a use-after-free.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: caam - fix overflow on long hmac keys When a key longer than block size is supplied, it is copied and then hashed into the real key. The memory allocated for the copy needs to be rounded to DMA cache alignment, as otherwise the hashed key may corrupt neighbouring memory. The copying is performed using kmemdup, however this leads to an overflow: reading more bytes (aligned_len - keylen) from the keylen source buffer. Fix this by replacing kmemdup with kmalloc, followed by memcpy.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: fix oversized RESPONSE authenticator length check rxgk_verify_response() decodes auth_len from the packet and is supposed to verify that it fits in the remaining bytes. The existing check is inverted, so oversized RESPONSE authenticators are accepted and passed to rxgk_decrypt_skb(), which can later reach skb_to_sgvec() with an impossible length and hit BUG_ON(len). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thermal: core: Fix thermal zone device registration error path If thermal_zone_device_register_with_trips() fails after registering a thermal zone device, it needs to wait for the tz->removal completion like thermal_zone_device_unregister(), in case user space has managed to take a reference to the thermal zone device's kobject, in which case thermal_release() may not be called by the error path itself and tz may be freed prematurely. Add the missing wait_for_completion() call to the thermal zone device registration error path.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_subset: Fix unbalanced refcnt in geth_free geth_alloc() increments the reference count, but geth_free() fails to decrement it. This prevents the configuration of attributes via configfs after unlinking the function. Decrement the reference count in geth_free() to ensure proper cleanup.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: Also unshare DATA/RESPONSE packets when paged frags are present The DATA-packet handler in rxrpc_input_call_event() and the RESPONSE handler in rxrpc_verify_response() copy the skb to a linear one before calling into the security ops only when skb_cloned() is true. An skb that is not cloned but still carries externally-owned paged fragments (e.g. SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG set by splice() into a UDP socket via __ip_append_data, or a chained skb_has_frag_list()) falls through to the in-place decryption path, which binds the frag pages directly into the AEAD/skcipher SGL via skb_to_sgvec(). Extend the gate to also unshare when skb_has_frag_list() or skb_has_shared_frag() is true. This catches the splice-loopback vector and other externally-shared frag sources while preserving the zero-copy fast path for skbs whose frags are kernel-private (e.g. NIC page_pool RX, GRO). The OOM/trace handling already in place is reused.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86: shadow stacks: proper error handling for mmap lock 김영민 reports that shstk_pop_sigframe() doesn't check for errors from mmap_read_lock_killable(), which is a silly oversight, and also shows that we haven't marked those functions with "__must_check", which would have immediately caught it. So let's fix both issues.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: Fix dangling pointer on mgmt_add_adv_patterns_monitor_complete This fixes the condition checking so mgmt_pending_valid is executed whenever status != -ECANCELED otherwise calling mgmt_pending_free(cmd) would kfree(cmd) without unlinking it from the list first, leaving a dangling pointer. Any subsequent list traversal (e.g., mgmt_pending_foreach during __mgmt_power_off, or another mgmt_pending_valid call) would dereference freed memory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: idxd: Fix leaking event log memory During the device remove process, the device is reset, causing the configuration registers to go back to their default state, which is zero. As the driver is checking if the event log support was enabled before deallocating, it will fail if a reset happened before. Do not check if the support was enabled, the check for 'idxd->evl' being valid (only allocated if the HW capability is available) is enough.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: Fix memory leak in set_ssp_complete Fix memory leak in set_ssp_complete() where mgmt_pending_cmd structures are not freed after being removed from the pending list. Commit 302a1f674c00 ("Bluetooth: MGMT: Fix possible UAFs") replaced mgmt_pending_foreach() calls with individual command handling but missed adding mgmt_pending_free() calls in both error and success paths of set_ssp_complete(). Other completion functions like set_le_complete() were fixed correctly in the same commit. This causes a memory leak of the mgmt_pending_cmd structure and its associated parameter data for each SSP command that completes. Add the missing mgmt_pending_free(cmd) calls in both code paths to fix the memory leak. Also fix the same issue in set_advertising_complete().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: reserve enough transaction items for qgroup ioctls Currently our qgroup ioctls don't reserve any space, they just do a transaction join, which does not reserve any space, neither for the quota tree updates nor for the delayed refs generated when updating the quota tree. The quota root uses the global block reserve, which is fine most of the time since we don't expect a lot of updates to the quota root, or to be too close to -ENOSPC such that other critical metadata updates need to resort to the global reserve. However this is not optimal, as not reserving proper space may result in a transaction abort due to not reserving space for delayed refs and then abusing the use of the global block reserve. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lib/crypto: chacha: Zeroize permuted_state before it leaves scope Since the ChaCha permutation is invertible, the local variable 'permuted_state' is sufficient to compute the original 'state', and thus the key, even after the permutation has been done. While the kernel is quite inconsistent about zeroizing secrets on the stack (and some prominent userspace crypto libraries don't bother at all since it's not guaranteed to work anyway), the kernel does try to do it as a best practice, especially in cases involving the RNG. Thus, explicitly zeroize 'permuted_state' before it goes out of scope.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: SMP: force responder MITM requirements before building the pairing response smp_cmd_pairing_req() currently builds the pairing response from the initiator auth_req before enforcing the local BT_SECURITY_HIGH requirement. If the initiator omits SMP_AUTH_MITM, the response can also omit it even though the local side still requires MITM. tk_request() then sees an auth value without SMP_AUTH_MITM and may select JUST_CFM, making method selection inconsistent with the pairing policy the responder already enforces. When the local side requires HIGH security, first verify that MITM can be achieved from the IO capabilities and then force SMP_AUTH_MITM in the response in both rsp.auth_req and auth. This keeps the responder auth bits and later method selection aligned.
