Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in Ays Pro Quiz Maker allows SQL Injection. This issue affects Quiz Maker: from n/a through 6.6.8.7.
The Quiz Maker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via spoofed IP headers in all versions up to, and including, 6.7.0.56 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This is only exploitable in configurations where the server is set up to retrieve the IP from a user-supplied field like `X-Forwarded-For` and limit users by IP is enabled.
The Quiz Maker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'ays_questions' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.5.8.3 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
The Fox LMS – WordPress LMS Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.5.1. This is due to the plugin not properly validating the 'role' parameter when creating new users via the `/fox-lms/v1/payments/create-order` REST API endpoint. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create new user accounts with arbitrary roles, including administrator, leading to complete site compromise.
The Image Slider by Ays- Responsive Slider and Carousel plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.0. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the bulk delete functionality. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary sliders via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
The Secure Copy Content Protection and Content Locking plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to sensitive information exposure due to storage of exported CSV files in a publicly accessible directory with predictable filenames in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.2. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to access sensitive user data including emails, IP addresses, usernames, roles, and location data by directly accessing the exported CSV file.
The Secure Copy Content Protection and Content Locking plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.2. This is due to missing nonce validation on the 'ays_sccp_results_export_file' AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to export sensitive plugin data including email addresses, IP addresses, physical addresses, user IDs, and other user information via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The exported data is stored in a publicly accessible file, allowing attackers to receive the sensitive information even though they are not authenticated.
The Quiz Maker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 6.7.0.80. This is due to the plugin exposing quiz answers through the ays_quiz_check_answer AJAX action without proper authorization checks. The endpoint only validates a nonce, but that same nonce is publicly available to all site visitors via the quiz_maker_ajax_public localized script data. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including quiz answers for any quiz question.
The Photo Gallery by Ays plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 6.4.8. This is due to missing nonce verification on the bulk action functionality in the 'process_bulk_action()' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to perform bulk operations (delete, publish, or unpublish galleries) via a forged request granted they can trick an administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
The Survey Maker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on the 'ays_survey_show_results' AJAX endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.9.4. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view all survey submissions.
The Poll Maker – Versus Polls, Anonymous Polls, Image Polls plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the ‘filterbyauthor’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.0.7 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
The Survey Maker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the deactivate_plugin_option() function in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.9.4. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update the ays_survey_maker_upgrade_plugin option.
Survey Maker prior to 3.6.4 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability. If this vulnerability is exploited, an arbitrary script may be executed on the web browser of the user who is logging in to the website using the product with the administrative privilege.
Insufficient verification of data authenticity issue in Survey Maker prior to 3.6.4 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to spoof an IP address when posting.
The Chartify – WordPress Chart Plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authentication for Critical Function in all versions up to, and including, 3.5.9. This is due to the plugin registering an unauthenticated AJAX action that dispatches to admin-class methods based on a request parameter, without any nonce or capability checks. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute administrative functions via the wp-admin/admin-ajax.php endpoint granted they can identify callable method names.
The Quiz Maker Business, Developer, and Agency plugins for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the ‘id’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 8.8.0 (Business), up to, and including, 21.8.0 (Developer), and up to, and including, 31.8.0 (Agency) due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. NOTE: The three variations of this software (Business, Developer, and Agency) share the same plugin slug, so you may get an alert even if you are running the latest version of any of the pieces of software. In these cases it is safe to dismiss the notice once you've confirmed your site is on a patched version of the applicable software.
