CVSS v3.1 |
| Improper verification of cryptographic signature in Azure Data Factory allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Improper input validation in Microsoft Office Word allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| Incorrect authorization in Azure Arc allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in an sql command ('sql injection') in Azure SQL Database allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Server-side request forgery (ssrf) in Microsoft Exchange Online allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Uncontrolled search path element in Windows Remote Help Defense allows an authorized attacker to perform spoofing locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Remote Desktop Client allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| Link following in CredentialProvider in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 151.0.7922.169 allowed a local attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a local program. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Deserialization of untrusted data in SQL Server allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Deserialization of untrusted data in SQL Server allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| In Splunk Enterprise for Windows versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, 9.4.13, and 9.3.14, a local user with access to the Windows host could bind to the management port before Splunk Enterprise starts, intercept authentication tokens from child processes, and use those tokens to compromise all relevant data and system integrity available to the user account running Splunk Enterprise. The vulnerability is possible because the Windows management-port listener does not apply exclusive address binding protections before the service starts. |
| Integer overflow or wraparound in Windows Device Health Attestation (DHA) allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Device Health Attestation (DHA) allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| An incorrect default permissions vulnerability in Synology Assistant before 7.0.7-50095 allows local users to read or write arbitrary files and conduct denial-of-service during installation. |
| No cwe for this issue in Visual Studio Code CoPilot Chat Extension allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network. |
| A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Visual Studio Code when the Python extension loads configuration files after opening a project. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could run arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the current user is logged on with administrative user rights, an attacker could take control of the affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.
To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need to convince a target to clone a repository and open it in Visual Studio Code with the Python extension installed. Attacker-specified code would execute when the target opened the integrated terminal.
The update address the vulnerability by modifying the way Visual Studio Code Python extension handles environment variables. |
| An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when Microsoft Edge does not properly enforce cross-domain policies, which could allow an attacker to access information from one domain and inject it into another domain.
In a web-based attack scenario, an attacker could host a website that is used to attempt to exploit the vulnerability. In addition, compromised websites and websites that accept or host user-provided content could contain specially crafted content that could exploit the vulnerability. However, in all cases an attacker would have no way to force users to view the attacker-controlled content. Instead, an attacker would have to convince users to take action. For example, an attacker could trick users into clicking a link that takes them to the attacker's site. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could elevate privileges in affected versions of Microsoft Edge.
The security update addresses the vulnerability by helping to ensure that cross-domain policies are properly enforced in Microsoft Edge. |
| A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Visual Studio Code when the Python extension loads workspace settings from a notebook file. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could run arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the current user is logged on with administrative user rights, an attacker could take control of the affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.
To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need to convince a target to open a specially crafted file in Visual Studio Code with the Python extension installed.
The update address the vulnerability by modifying the way Visual Studio Code Python extension enforces user settings. |
| An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists in Microsoft Windows when Folder redirection has been enabled via Group Policy. When folder redirection file server is co-located with Terminal server, an attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability would be able to begin redirecting another user's personal data to a created folder.
To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker can create a new folder under the Folder Redirection root path and create a junction on a newly created User folder. When the new user logs in, Folder Redirection would start redirecting to the folder and copying personal data.
This elevation of privilege vulnerability can only be addressed by reconfiguring Folder Redirection with Offline files and restricting permissions, and NOT via a security update for affected Windows Servers. See the FAQ section of this CVE for configuration guidance. |
