| Buffa is a pure-Rust Protocol Buffers implementation with first-class protobuf editions support. Prior to 0.8.0, the decode_unknown_field function in buffa's protobuf decoder allocated heap memory in proportion to untrusted input (unknown fields in the serialized protobuf) without enforcing an allocation budget, affecting any message decoded from untrusted input using code generated with preserve_unknown_fields=true (the default); a small, well-formed payload of nested unknown fields inside a StartGroup could trigger roughly 22x memory amplification (for example a 64 MiB input forcing about 1.4 GB of heap allocation), and length-delimited unknown fields could be sized arbitrarily, so an unauthenticated attacker could crash a process through memory exhaustion because the top-level message size cap did not account for in-decode amplification. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.0. |
| Datadog .NET Tracer is a client library for Datadog APM for .NET applications. Prior to 3.43.0, Datadog tracing libraries that implement W3C baggage propagation parse incoming baggage HTTP headers without enforcing DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_ITEMS or DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_BYTES on extraction, allowing a remote unauthenticated attacker to send a baggage header with many comma-separated key-value pairs or one very large value and cause unbounded CPU and memory consumption in services with baggage propagation enabled. This issue is fixed in version 3.43.0. |
| ### Impact
If this library is used in tandem with the `permessage-deflate` extension, a
WebSocket server or client can be made to accept messages that are larger than
the configured maximum message size. This is because this limit is checked
against the message frames' length headers, which give the size of the
compressed data, not the size after decompression. This can lead to applications
accepting larger messages than expected and exceeding their intended resource
usage.
### Patches
The issue has been patched in version 0.8.1, by checking the length of messages
after they are processed by incoming extensions. All users should upgrade to
this version.

| Smithy-RS is a Rust code generation and runtime framework that generates HTTP clients and servers from Smithy interface definitions, powering the AWS SDK for Rust and custom service implementations.
Uncontrolled recursion in the JSON, CBOR, and XML deserializer functions emitted by Amazon smithy-rs code generation could allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (process abort via stack exhaustion) via a small request containing deeply nested data for a recursive model shape to a generated SDK or server.
To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to aws-sdk-rust release-2026-06-02 or later. Users building custom servers with smithy-rs codegen should regenerate from smithy-rs release-2026-06-01 or later. |
| MeltanoHub is the source code for hub.meltano.com, the central place for Meltano plugins. Versions of the repo prior to commit 923820de8f64d753951fbbd54f7282a3d5f75173 were vulnerable to exfiltration of `GITHUB_TOKEN` with write permissions to the repository. The vulnerable workflow used pull_request_target, which runs in the context of the base repository with access to secrets. Commit 923820de8f64d753951fbbd54f7282a3d5f75173 fixes the issue. No known workarounds are available. |

| MCP-for-Stata is an MCP server for Stata to integrate Stata into an agent. Prior to version 1.17.3, the `log_file_name` parameter in the `stata_do` API and CLI is directly interpolated into a Stata command string without sanitization. The security guard (`GuardValidator`) only scans the do-file content but does not validate this parameter. An attacker can inject arbitrary Stata commands (including `shell`, `python`, `erase`, etc.) by crafting a malicious `log_file_name` containing quotes, newlines, or Stata command separators. Version 1.17.3 contains a patch for the issue. |
| A DNSSEC validating resolver that is under a random subdomain attack against a DNSSEC-signed zone can suffer from runaway memory usage. The attacker needs to be able to send queries faster than the resolver can perform validation. The increased memory usage can be orders of magnitude beyond the limit configured in the `max-cache-size` parameter.

spi: mtk-snfi: unregister ECC engine on probe failure and remove() callback
mtk_snand_probe() registers the on-host NAND ECC engine, but teardown was
missing from both probe unwind and remove-time cleanup. Add a devm cleanup
action after successful registration so
nand_ecc_unregister_on_host_hw_engine() runs automatically on probe
failures and during device removal. |

module_flash_fw_schedule() is missing undo for setting
the "in_progress" flag and taking the netdev reference.
Delay taking these, the device can't disappear while
we are holding rtnl_lock. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme-pci: fix dma mapping leak on data setup error
We're leaking the initial DMA mapping during iteration if we fail to
allocate the tracking descriptor for both PRP and SGL. Unmap the
iterator directly; we can't use the existing unmap helper because it
depends on the tracking descriptor being successfully allocated, so a
new one for an in-use iterator is provided.
The mappings were also leaking when the driver detects an invalid
bio_vec when mapping PRPs, so fix that too. |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.224, the FreeScout helpdesk application does not enforce rate limiting on the file upload endpoint. Any user can flood the server with upload requests, leading to database overload and potential denial of service for all users. Version 1.8.224 contains a fix. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/migrate_device: fix pgtable leak in migrate_vma_insert_huge_pmd_page
When migrate_vma_insert_huge_pmd_page() jumps to unlock_abort due
to a PMD check failure, the pgtable allocated earlier via
pte_alloc_one() is never freed, causing a memory leak.
Added free_abort label to release the pgtable in error path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
PCI: mediatek-gen3: Prevent leaking IRQ domains when IRQ not found
In mtk_pcie_setup_irq(), the IRQ domains are allocated before the
controller's IRQ is fetched. If the latter fails, the function
directly returns an error, without cleaning up the allocated domains.
Hence, reverse the order so that the IRQ domains are allocated after the
controller's IRQ is found.
