CVE-2023-54064 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipmi:ssif: Fix a memory leak when scanning for an adapter The adapter scan ssif_info_find() sets info->adapter_name if the adapter info came from SMBIOS, as it's not set in that case. However, this function can be called more than once, and it will leak the adapter name if it had already been set. So check for NULL before setting it.

WARN_ON(!RB_EMPTY_ROOT( &transaction->delayed_refs.dirty_extent_root)); (...) } The warning happens because btrfs_qgroup_destroy_extent_records(), called in the transaction abort path, we free all entries from the rbtree "dirty_extent_root" with rbtree_postorder_for_each_entry_safe(), but we don't actually empty the rbtree - it's still pointing to nodes that were freed. So set the rbtree's root node to NULL to avoid this warning (assign RB_ROOT).
CVE-2023-53992 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium

Further debugging showed that igb_enable_sriov()'s call to pci_enable_sriov() is failing, because dev->is_physfn is 0 on 82580. Prior to commit 50f303496d92 ("igb: Enable SR-IOV after reinit"), igb_enable_sriov() jumped into the "err_out" cleanup branch. After this commit it only returned the error code. So the cleanup didn't take place, and the incorrect VF setup in the igb_adapter structure fooled the igb driver into assuming that VFs have been set up where no VF actually existed. Fix this problem by cleaning up again if pci_enable_sriov() fails.

CVE-2023-54032 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix race when deleting quota root from the dirty cow roots list When disabling quotas we are deleting the quota root from the list fs_info->dirty_cowonly_roots without taking the lock that protects it, which is struct btrfs_fs_info::trans_lock. This unsynchronized list manipulation may cause chaos if there's another concurrent manipulation of this list, such as when adding a root to it with ctree.c:add_root_to_dirty_list(). This can result in all sorts of weird failures caused by a race, such as the following crash: [337571.278245] general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0xdead000000000108: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP PTI [337571.278933] CPU: 1 PID: 115447 Comm: btrfs Tainted: G W 6.4.0-rc6-btrfs-next-134+ #1 [337571.279153] Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS rel-1.14.0-0-g155821a1990b-prebuilt.qemu.org 04/01/2014 [337571.279572] RIP: 0010:commit_cowonly_roots+0x11f/0x250 [btrfs] [337571.279928] Code: 85 38 06 00 (...) This creates a race between destroy_work_on_stack() and the task->work struct going out of scope in pci_doe(). Signal the work complete after destroying the work struct. This is safe because signal_task_complete() is the final thing the work item does and the workqueue code is careful not to access the work struct after.
CVE-2023-54232 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: m68k: Only force 030 bus error if PC not in exception table __get_kernel_nofault() does copy data in supervisor mode when forcing a task backtrace log through /proc/sysrq_trigger. This is expected cause a bus error exception on e.g. NULL pointer dereferencing when logging a kernel task has no workqueue associated. This bus error ought to be ignored. Our 030 bus error handler is ill equipped to deal with this: Whenever ssw indicates a kernel mode access on a data fault, we don't even attempt to handle the fault and instead always send a SEGV signal (or panic). As a result, the check for exception handling at the fault PC (buried in send_sig_fault() which gets called from do_page_fault() eventually) is never used. In contrast, both 040 and 060 access error handlers do not care whether a fault happened on supervisor mode access, and will call do_page_fault() on those, ultimately honoring the exception table. Add a check in bus_error030 to call do_page_fault() in case we do have an entry for the fault PC in our exception table. I had attempted a fix for this earlier in 2019 that did rely on testing pagefault_disabled() (see link below) to achieve the same thing, but this patch should be more generic. Tested on 030 Atari Falcon.
