CVSS v3.1 |
| Authentication Bypass Using an Alternate Path or Channel vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. When using PreResources or PostResources mounted other than at the root of the web application, it was possible to access those resources via an unexpected path. That path was likely not to be protected by the same security constraints as the expected path, allowing those security constraints to be bypassed.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.7, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.41, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.105.
The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are
known to be affected: 8.5.0 through 8.5.100. Other, older, EOL versions
may also be affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.8, 10.1.42 or 9.0.106, which fix the issue. |
| Ruckus SmartZone (SZ) before 6.1.2p3 Refresh Build allows authentication bypass via a valid API key and crafted HTTP headers. |
| An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the HTTP authentication functionality of Tenda AC6 V5.0 V02.03.01.110. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can send packets to trigger this vulnerability. |
| An information disclosure vulnerability exists in the /goform/getproductInfo functionality of Tenda AC6 V5.0 V02.03.01.110. Specially crafted network packets can lead to a disclosure of sensitive information. An attacker can send packets to trigger this vulnerability. |
| Mitigation bypass in the Web Compatibility: Tooling component. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 143 and Thunderbird < 143. |
| Authentication Bypass Issue
If the path does not contain / and contain., authentication is not required.
Expected Normal Request and Response Example
curl -X POST -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d {\"username\":\"hack2\",\"password\":\"hack\",\"component\":\"CONTROLLER\",\"role\":\"ADMIN\",\"tables\":[],\"permissions\":[],\"usernameWithComponent\":\"hack_CONTROLLER\"} http://{server_ip}:9000/users
Return: {"code":401,"error":"HTTP 401 Unauthorized"}
Malicious Request and Response Example
curl -X POST -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{\"username\":\"hack\",\"password\":\"hack\",\"component\":\"CONTROLLER\",\"role\":\"ADMIN\",\"tables\":[],\"permissions\":[],\"usernameWithComponent\":\"hack_CONTROLLER\"}' http://{serverip}:9000/users; http://{serverip}:9000/users; .
Return: {"users":{}}
A new user gets added bypassing authentication, enabling the user to control Pinot. |
| Undisclosed requests may bypass configuration utility authentication, allowing an attacker with network access to the BIG-IP system through the management port and/or self IP addresses to execute arbitrary system commands. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated |
| In JetBrains TeamCity before 2023.11.4 authentication bypass allowing to perform admin actions was possible |
| In JetBrains TeamCity before 2023.05.4 authentication bypass leading to RCE on TeamCity Server was possible |
| The SolarWinds Orion API is vulnerable to an authentication bypass that could allow a remote attacker to execute API commands. This vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to bypass authentication and execute API commands which may result in a compromise of the SolarWinds instance. SolarWinds Orion Platform versions 2019.4 HF 5, 2020.2 with no hotfix installed, and 2020.2 HF 1 are affected. |
| The admin panel in the TeleMessage service through 2025-05-05 allows attackers to discover usernames, e-mail addresses, passwords, and telephone numbers. |
| The web server of affected devices do not properly authenticate user request to the '/ClientArea/RuntimeInfoData.mwsl' endpoint. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to gain knowledge about current actual and configured maximum cycle times as well as about configured maximum communication load. |
| The eHRD CTMS from Sunnet has an Authentication Bypass vulnerability, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to bypass authentication by satisfying specific conditions in order to access certain functionalities. |
| The Service Finder SMS System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.0. This is due to the plugin not verifying a user's phone number before logging them in. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to login as arbitrary users. |
| The CBIS/NCS Manager API is vulnerable to an authentication bypass. By sending a specially crafted HTTP header, an unauthenticated user can gain unauthorized access to API functions. This flaw allows attackers to reach restricted or sensitive endpoints of the HTTP API without providing any valid credentials. The root cause of this vulnerability lies in a weak verification mechanism within the authentication implementation present in the Nginx Podman container on the CBIS/NCS Manager host machine.
The risk can be partially mitigated by restricting access to the management network using external firewall. |
| Sentry is a developer-first error tracking and performance monitoring tool. Prior to version 25.5.0, an attacker with a malicious OAuth application registered with Sentry can take advantage of a race condition and improper handling of authorization code within Sentry to maintain persistence to a user's account. With a specially timed requests and redirect flows, an attacker could generate multiple authorization codes that could be used to exchange for access and refresh tokens. This was possible even after de-authorizing the particular application. This issue has been patched in version 25.5.0. Self-hosted Sentry users should upgrade to version 25.5.0 or higher. Sentry SaaS users do not need to take any action. |
| There is an authentication bypass vulnerability in WinterChenS my-site thru commit 6c79286 (2025-06-11). An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to access /admin/ API without any token. |
| The N-central server is vulnerable to session rebinding of already authenticated users when using Entra SSO, which can lead to authentication bypass.
This vulnerability is present in all Entra-supported deployments of N-central prior to 2024.3. |
| TYPO3 is an open source, PHP based web content management system. In versions on the 12.x branch prior to 12.4.31 LTS and the 13.x branch prior to 13.4.2 LTS, the multifactor authentication (MFA) dialog presented during backend login can be bypassed due to insufficient enforcement of access restrictions on all backend routes. Successful exploitation requires valid backend user credentials, as MFA can only be bypassed after successful authentication. Users should update to TYPO3 version 12.4.31 LTS or 13.4.12 LTS to fix the problem. |
| Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in Drupal Two-factor Authentication (TFA) allows Forceful Browsing.This issue affects Two-factor Authentication (TFA): from 0.0.0 before 1.10.0. |
