CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: wlcore: ensure skb headroom before skb_push
This avoids occasional skb_under_panic Oops from wl1271_tx_work. In this case, headroom is
less than needed (typically 110 - 94 = 16 bytes). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb/server: call ksmbd_session_rpc_close() on error path in create_smb2_pipe()
When ksmbd_iov_pin_rsp() fails, we should call ksmbd_session_rpc_close(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb/server: fix refcount leak in parse_durable_handle_context()
When the command is a replay operation and -ENOEXEC is returned,
the refcount of ksmbd_file must be released. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
can: gs_usb: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(): fix error message
Sinc commit 79a6d1bfe114 ("can: gs_usb: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback():
unanchor URL on usb_submit_urb() error") a failing resubmit URB will print
an info message.
In the case of a short read where netdev has not yet been assigned,
initialize as NULL to avoid dereferencing an undefined value. Also report
the error value of the failed resubmit. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
firewire: core: fix race condition against transaction list
The list of transaction is enumerated without acquiring card lock when
processing AR response event. This causes a race condition bug when
processing AT request completion event concurrently.
This commit fixes the bug by put timer start for split transaction
expiration into the scope of lock. The value of jiffies in card structure
is referred before acquiring the lock. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm: Do not allow userspace to trigger kernel warnings in drm_gem_change_handle_ioctl()
Since GEM bo handles are u32 in the uapi and the internal implementation
uses idr_alloc() which uses int ranges, passing a new handle larger than
INT_MAX trivially triggers a kernel warning:
idr_alloc():
...
if (WARN_ON_ONCE(start < 0))
return -EINVAL;
...
Fix it by rejecting new handles above INT_MAX and at the same time make
the end limit calculation more obvious by moving into int domain. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
slab: fix kmalloc_nolock() context check for PREEMPT_RT
On PREEMPT_RT kernels, local_lock becomes a sleeping lock. The current
check in kmalloc_nolock() only verifies we're not in NMI or hard IRQ
context, but misses the case where preemption is disabled.
When a BPF program runs from a tracepoint with preemption disabled
(preempt_count > 0), kmalloc_nolock() proceeds to call
local_lock_irqsave() which attempts to acquire a sleeping lock,
triggering:
BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context
in_atomic(): 1, irqs_disabled(): 0, non_block: 0, pid: 6128
preempt_count: 2, expected: 0
Fix this by checking !preemptible() on PREEMPT_RT, which directly
expresses the constraint that we cannot take a sleeping lock when
preemption is disabled. This encompasses the previous checks for NMI
and hard IRQ contexts while also catching cases where preemption is
disabled. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/bridge: synopsys: dw-dp: fix error paths of dw_dp_bind
Fix several issues in dw_dp_bind() error handling:
1. Missing return after drm_bridge_attach() failure - the function
continued execution instead of returning an error.
2. Resource leak: drm_dp_aux_register() is not a devm function, so
drm_dp_aux_unregister() must be called on all error paths after
aux registration succeeds. This affects errors from:
- drm_bridge_attach()
- phy_init()
- devm_add_action_or_reset()
- platform_get_irq()
- devm_request_threaded_irq()
3. Bug fix: platform_get_irq() returns the IRQ number or a negative
error code, but the error path was returning ERR_PTR(ret) instead
of ERR_PTR(dp->irq).
Use a goto label for cleanup to ensure consistent error handling. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iommu/sva: invalidate stale IOTLB entries for kernel address space
Introduce a new IOMMU interface to flush IOTLB paging cache entries for
the CPU kernel address space. This interface is invoked from the x86
architecture code that manages combined user and kernel page tables,
specifically before any kernel page table page is freed and reused.
This addresses the main issue with vfree() which is a common occurrence
and can be triggered by unprivileged users. While this resolves the
primary problem, it doesn't address some extremely rare case related to
memory unplug of memory that was present as reserved memory at boot, which
cannot be triggered by unprivileged users. The discussion can be found at
the link below.
Enable SVA on x86 architecture since the IOMMU can now receive
notification to flush the paging cache before freeing the CPU kernel page
table pages. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ice: add missing ice_deinit_hw() in devlink reinit path
devlink-reload results in ice_init_hw failed error, and then removing
the ice driver causes a NULL pointer dereference.
[ +0.102213] ice 0000:ca:00.0: ice_init_hw failed: -16
...
[ +0.000001] Call Trace:
[ +0.000003] <TASK>
[ +0.000006] ice_unload+0x8f/0x100 [ice]
[ +0.000081] ice_remove+0xba/0x300 [ice]
Commit 1390b8b3d2be ("ice: remove duplicate call to ice_deinit_hw() on
error paths") removed ice_deinit_hw() from ice_deinit_dev(). As a result
ice_devlink_reinit_down() no longer calls ice_deinit_hw(), but
ice_devlink_reinit_up() still calls ice_init_hw(). Since the control
queues are not uninitialized, ice_init_hw() fails with -EBUSY.
Add ice_deinit_hw() to ice_devlink_reinit_down() to correspond with
ice_init_hw() in ice_devlink_reinit_up(). |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_tables: fix inverted genmask check in nft_map_catchall_activate()
nft_map_catchall_activate() has an inverted element activity check
compared to its non-catchall counterpart nft_mapelem_activate() and
compared to what is logically required.
nft_map_catchall_activate() is called from the abort path to re-activate
catchall map elements that were deactivated during a failed transaction.
It should skip elements that are already active (they don't need
re-activation) and process elements that are inactive (they need to be
restored). Instead, the current code does the opposite: it skips inactive
elements and processes active ones.
Compare the non-catchall activate callback, which is correct:
nft_mapelem_activate():
if (nft_set_elem_active(ext, iter->genmask))
return 0; /* skip active, process inactive */
With the buggy catchall version:
nft_map_catchall_activate():
if (!nft_set_elem_active(ext, genmask))
continue; /* skip inactive, process active */
The consequence is that when a DELSET operation is aborted,
nft_setelem_data_activate() is never called for the catchall element.
For NFT_GOTO verdict elements, this means nft_data_hold() is never
called to restore the chain->use reference count. Each abort cycle
permanently decrements chain->use. Once chain->use reaches zero,
DELCHAIN succeeds and frees the chain while catchall verdict elements
still reference it, resulting in a use-after-free.
This is exploitable for local privilege escalation from an unprivileged
user via user namespaces + nftables on distributions that enable
CONFIG_USER_NS and CONFIG_NF_TABLES.
Fix by removing the negation so the check matches nft_mapelem_activate():
skip active elements, process inactive ones. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvmet-tcp: add bounds checks in nvmet_tcp_build_pdu_iovec
nvmet_tcp_build_pdu_iovec() could walk past cmd->req.sg when a PDU
length or offset exceeds sg_cnt and then use bogus sg->length/offset
values, leading to _copy_to_iter() GPF/KASAN. Guard sg_idx, remaining
entries, and sg->length/offset before building the bvec. |

| There is a stored Cross‑Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Esri Portal for ArcGIS versions 11.2 and below that may allow a remote, authenticated attacker to create a crafted link that can be saved as a new location when moving an existing item, which could potentially execute arbitrary JavaScript code in a victim’s browser. Exploitation does not require any privileges and can be performed by an anonymous user. |
| There is a cross‑site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Esri Portal for ArcGIS Experience Builder versions 11.1 and below on Windows and Linux that allows a remote, authenticated attacker with low‑privileged access to create a crafted link which, when clicked, could potentially execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the victim’s browser. Exploitation requires basic authenticated access but does not require elevated or administrative privileges, indicating low privileges are required. |
