| NATS-Server is a High-Performance server for NATS.io, a cloud and edge native messaging system. Starting in version 2.2.0 and prior to versions 2.11.14 and 2.12.5, a missing sanity check on a WebSockets frame could trigger a server panic in the nats-server. This happens before authentication, and so is exposed to anyone who can connect to the websockets port. Versions 2.11.14 and 2.12.5 contains a fix. A workaround is available. The vulnerability only affects deployments which use WebSockets and which expose the network port to untrusted end-points. If one is able to do so, a defense in depth of restricting either of these will mitigate the attack. |
| NATS-Server is a High-Performance server for NATS.io, a cloud and edge native messaging system. Prior to versions 2.11.15 and 2.12.6, a client which can connect to the leafnode port can crash the nats-server with a certain malformed message pre-authentication. Versions 2.11.15 and 2.12.6 contain a fix. As a workaround, disable leafnode support if not needed or restrict network connections to the leafnode port, if plausible without compromising the service offered. |
| flatted is a circular JSON parser. Prior to version 3.4.2, the parse() function in flatted can use attacker-controlled string values from the parsed JSON as direct array index keys, without validating that they are numeric. Since the internal input buffer is a JavaScript Array, accessing it with the key "__proto__" returns Array.prototype via the inherited getter. This object is then treated as a legitimate parsed value and assigned as a property of the output object, effectively leaking a live reference to Array.prototype to the consumer. Any code that subsequently writes to that property will pollute the global prototype. This issue has been patched in version 3.4.2. |
| NGINX Open Source and NGINX Plus have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_dav_module module that might allow an attacker to trigger a buffer overflow to the NGINX worker process; this vulnerability may result in termination of the NGINX worker process or modification of source or destination file names outside the document root. This issue affects NGINX Open Source and NGINX Plus when the configuration file uses DAV module MOVE or COPY methods, prefix location (nonregular expression location configuration), and alias directives. The integrity impact is constrained because the NGINX worker process user has low privileges and does not have access to the entire system. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. |
| Nsauditor Product Key Explorer 4.2.2.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by inputting a specially crafted registration key. Attackers can generate a payload of 1000 bytes of repeated characters and paste it into the 'Key' input field to trigger the application crash. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2, macOS Sonoma 14.2, Safari 17.2, iOS 16.7.15 and iPadOS 16.7.15, iOS 15.8.7 and iPadOS 15.8.7. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to memory corruption. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: rose: fix invalid array index in rose_kill_by_device()
rose_kill_by_device() collects sockets into a local array[] and then
iterates over them to disconnect sockets bound to a device being brought
down.
The loop mistakenly indexes array[cnt] instead of array[i]. For cnt <
ARRAY_SIZE(array), this reads an uninitialized entry; for cnt ==
ARRAY_SIZE(array), it is an out-of-bounds read. Either case can lead to
an invalid socket pointer dereference and also leaks references taken
via sock_hold().
Fix the index to use i. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
platform/x86: hp-bioscfg: Fix out-of-bounds array access in ACPI package parsing
The hp_populate_*_elements_from_package() functions in the hp-bioscfg
driver contain out-of-bounds array access vulnerabilities.
These functions parse ACPI packages into internal data structures using
a for loop with index variable 'elem' that iterates through
enum_obj/integer_obj/order_obj/password_obj/string_obj arrays.
When processing multi-element fields like PREREQUISITES and
ENUM_POSSIBLE_VALUES, these functions read multiple consecutive array
elements using expressions like 'enum_obj[elem + reqs]' and
'enum_obj[elem + pos_values]' within nested loops.
The bug is that the bounds check only validated elem, but did not consider
the additional offset when accessing elem + reqs or elem + pos_values.
The fix changes the bounds check to validate the actual accessed index. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: adv7842: Avoid possible out-of-bounds array accesses in adv7842_cp_log_status()
It's possible for cp_read() and hdmi_read() to return -EIO. Those
values are further used as indexes for accessing arrays.
Fix that by checking return values where it's needed.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
clk: samsung: exynos-clkout: Assign .num before accessing .hws
Commit f316cdff8d67 ("clk: Annotate struct clk_hw_onecell_data with
__counted_by") annotated the hws member of 'struct clk_hw_onecell_data'
with __counted_by, which informs the bounds sanitizer (UBSAN_BOUNDS)
about the number of elements in .hws[], so that it can warn when .hws[]
is accessed out of bounds. As noted in that change, the __counted_by
member must be initialized with the number of elements before the first
array access happens, otherwise there will be a warning from each access
prior to the initialization because the number of elements is zero. This
occurs in exynos_clkout_probe() due to .num being assigned after .hws[]
has been accessed:
UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in drivers/clk/samsung/clk-exynos-clkout.c:178:18
index 0 is out of range for type 'clk_hw *[*]'
Move the .num initialization to before the first access of .hws[],
clearing up the warning. |
| Stack buffer overflow in WebRTC in Google Chrome prior to 146.0.7680.153 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit stack corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
riscv: Sanitize syscall table indexing under speculation
The syscall number is a user-controlled value used to index into the
syscall table. Use array_index_nospec() to clamp this value after the
bounds check to prevent speculative out-of-bounds access and subsequent
data leakage via cache side channels. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Propagate error from htab_lock_bucket() to userspace
In __htab_map_lookup_and_delete_batch() if htab_lock_bucket() returns
-EBUSY, it will go to next bucket. Going to next bucket may not only
skip the elements in current bucket silently, but also incur
out-of-bound memory access or expose kernel memory to userspace if
current bucket_cnt is greater than bucket_size or zero.
Fixing it by stopping batch operation and returning -EBUSY when
htab_lock_bucket() fails, and the application can retry or skip the busy
batch as needed. |
| Knockpy 4.1.1 contains a CSV injection vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious formulas into CSV reports through unfiltered server headers. Attackers can manipulate server response headers to include spreadsheet formulas that will execute when the CSV is opened in spreadsheet applications. |

Historically, the signed integer overflow sanitizer did not work in the
kernel due to its interaction with `-fwrapv` but this has since been
changed [1] in the newest version of Clang. It was re-enabled in the
kernel with Commit 557f8c582a9ba8ab ("ubsan: Reintroduce signed overflow
sanitizer").
Let's rearrange the check to not perform any arithmetic, thus not
tripping the sanitizer. |
| jsPDF is a library to generate PDFs in JavaScript. Prior to version 4.2.1, user control of arguments of the `createAnnotation` method allows users to inject arbitrary PDF objects, such as JavaScript actions. If given the possibility to pass unsanitized input to the following method, a user can inject arbitrary PDF objects, such as JavaScript actions, which might trigger when the PDF is opened or interacted with the `createAnnotation`: `color` parameter. The vulnerability has been fixed in jsPDF@4.2.1. As a workaround, sanitize user input before passing it to the vulnerable API members. |
| libcoap versions up to and including 4.3.5, prior to commit 30db3ea, contain a stack-based buffer overflow in address resolution when attacker-controlled hostname data is copied into a fixed 256-byte stack buffer without proper bounds checking. A remote attacker can trigger a crash and potentially achieve remote code execution depending on compiler options and runtime memory protections. Exploitation requires the proxy logic to be enabled (i.e., the proxy request handling code path in an application using libcoap). |
