CVE-2023-54119 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inotify: Avoid reporting event with invalid wd When inotify_freeing_mark() races with inotify_handle_inode_event() it can happen that inotify_handle_inode_event() sees that i_mark->wd got already reset to -1 and reports this value to userspace which can confuse the inotify listener. Avoid the problem by validating that wd is sensible (and pretend the mark got removed before the event got generated otherwise).
CVE-2023-54118 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: sc16is7xx: setup GPIO controller later in probe The GPIO controller component of the sc16is7xx driver is setup too early, which can result in a race condition where another device tries to utilise the GPIO lines before the sc16is7xx device has finished initialising. The error handling has also been reordered to reflect the new initialisation order.

CVE-2023-54251 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: taprio: Limit TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_SCHED_CYCLE_TIME to INT_MAX. syzkaller found zero division error [0] in div_s64_rem() called from get_cycle_time_elapsed(), where sched->cycle_time is the divisor. We have tests in parse_taprio_schedule() so that cycle_time will never be 0, and actually cycle_time is not 0 in get_cycle_time_elapsed(). The problem is that the types of divisor are different; cycle_time is s64, but the argument of div_s64_rem() is s32. syzkaller fed this input and 0x100000000 is cast to s32 to be 0. @TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_SCHED_CYCLE_TIME={0xc, 0x8, 0x100000000} We use s64 for cycle_time to cast it to ktime_t, so let's keep it and set max for cycle_time. While at it, we prevent overflow in setup_txtime() and add another test in parse_taprio_schedule() to check if cycle_time overflows. Also, we add a new tdc test case for this issue. CVE-2023-54113 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rcu: dump vmalloc memory info safely Currently, for double invoke call_rcu(), will dump rcu_head objects memory info, if the objects is not allocated from the slab allocator, the vmalloc_dump_obj() will be invoke and the vmap_area_lock spinlock need to be held, since the call_rcu() can be invoked in interrupt context, therefore, there is a possibility of spinlock deadlock scenarios. CVE-2023-54110 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: rndis_host: Secure rndis_query check against int overflow Variables off and len typed as uint32 in rndis_query function are controlled by incoming RNDIS response message thus their value may be manipulated. Setting off to a unexpectetly large value will cause the sum with len and 8 to overflow and pass the implemented validation step. Consequently the response pointer will be referring to a location past the expected buffer boundaries allowing information leakage e.g. via RNDIS_OID_802_3_PERMANENT_ADDRESS OID.

CVE-2023-54102 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Prevent lpfc_debugfs_lockstat_write() buffer overflow A static code analysis tool flagged the possibility of buffer overflow when using copy_from_user() for a debugfs entry. Currently, it is possible that copy_from_user() copies more bytes than what would fit in the mybuf char array. Add a min() restriction check between sizeof(mybuf) - 1 and nbytes passed from the userspace buffer to protect against buffer overflow.
CVE-2023-54252 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: think-lmi: Fix memory leaks when parsing ThinkStation WMI strings My previous commit introduced a memory leak where the item allocated from tlmi_setting was not freed. This commit also renames it to avoid confusion with the similarly name variable in the same function.
CVE-2023-54101 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: driver: soc: xilinx: use _safe loop iterator to avoid a use after free The hash_for_each_possible() loop dereferences "eve_data" to get the next item on the list. However the loop frees eve_data so it leads to a use after free. Use hash_for_each_possible_safe() instead.
CVE-2023-54097 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regulator: stm32-pwr: fix of_iomap leak Smatch reports: drivers/regulator/stm32-pwr.c:166 stm32_pwr_regulator_probe() warn: 'base' from of_iomap() not released on lines: 151,166. In stm32_pwr_regulator_probe(), base is not released when devm_kzalloc() fails to allocate memory or devm_regulator_register() fails to register a new regulator device, which may cause a leak. To fix this issue, replace of_iomap() with devm_platform_ioremap_resource(). devm_platform_ioremap_resource() is a specialized function for platform devices. It allows 'base' to be automatically released whether the probe function succeeds or fails. Besides, use IS_ERR(base) instead of !base as the return value of devm_platform_ioremap_resource() can either be a pointer to the remapped memory or an ERR_PTR() encoded error code if the operation fails.

So there is no correctness issue here, we just want to silence warning. To silence the warning, I added DECL_TAG as one of kinds in btf_type_nosize() which will cause btf_type_id_size() returning NULL earlier without the warning. CVE-2023-54093 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: anysee: fix null-ptr-deref in anysee_master_xfer In anysee_master_xfer, msg is controlled by user. When msg[i].buf is null and msg[i].len is zero, former checks on msg[i].buf would be passed. Malicious data finally reach anysee_master_xfer. If accessing msg[i].buf[0] without sanity check, null ptr deref would happen. We add check on msg[i].len to prevent crash. Similar commit: commit 0ed554fd769a ("media: dvb-usb: az6027: fix null-ptr-deref in az6027_i2c_xfer()") [hverkuil: add spaces around +]
