CVSS v3.1 |
| authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2, an authentik SAML Source verifies an assertion's signature and validity period but does not ensure that the identity provider issued the assertion for that Source or in response to a login request from that Source. The SAML Source also does not record already accepted assertions, allowing replay. An unauthenticated actor who possesses such a valid assertion can use an assertion intended for another service provider or reuse an earlier assertion to authenticate as the user named by the assertion. Only SAML Sources are affected; SAML Providers and other Source types are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2. |
| A flaw was found in sudo. When sudoers rules use NOTBEFORE or NOTAFTER time-based access restrictions with timestamps that omit the trailing 'Z' timezone indicator, the time evaluation relies on the TZ environment variable inherited from the calling user. Because sudo is a setuid-root program, an unprivileged local user can set TZ to an extreme timezone offset to shift the authorization window by up to approximately 25 hours, causing expired rules to be treated as valid. This allows the user to execute commands outside the intended time window. Authentication is not bypassed; only the time-based authorization check is affected. |
| A flaw was found in multicluster-global-hub. The manager component improperly validates the source identity of incoming CloudEvents on Kafka status topics. A remote attacker, after compromising a managed hub and obtaining its Kafka client certificate, can manipulate the self-asserted source identity. This allows the attacker to falsify or delete critical data, such as compliance, inventory, and cluster health information, belonging to other hubs in the database. |
| A flaw was found in the multicloud-operators-subscription component. This vulnerability allows a user on a managed cluster to escalate their privileges by creating a Subscription with specific, crafted annotations. Successful exploitation grants the attacker the ability to deploy resources into any namespace with the elevated permissions of the controller's Service Account, potentially leading to unauthorized access and control over cluster resources. |
| An out-of-bounds read in libXi's XI2 XIQueryDevice reply parsing in libXi before 1.8.4 can be used by a malicious X server to crash an attached X client. |
| authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2, an unauthenticated attacker can submit a malformed SAML message to an authentik deployment using SAML in either the identity-provider or SAML source role. The message can stop the worker handling /application/saml/* or /source/saml/*, causing the requests assigned to that worker to fail. Worker process termination and automatic restart do not destroy database-backed sessions, but continued malicious messages can cause a sustained share of legitimate traffic to fail. Other protocol implementations are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2. |
| An out-of-bounds read in libXi's XI2 class parser in libXi before 1.8.4 could be used by malicious X servers to crash an attached X client. |
| Mongoid does not restrict which query operators may come from caller-supplied filter data when an application hands that data to its query-building methods. In an application that forwards externally supplied filter parameters in this way, a party with no credentials may influence how the database evaluates the query. This may result in unintended disclosure of stored field values and in reduced database performance. |
| Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 2.4.0 until 2.5.1, the POST /users/totp/disable and POST /users/totp/backup-codes endpoints accept the account password as the sole reauthentication factor after a 2.4.0 refactor regressed the two-factor check introduced for CVE-2026-45749. In src/backend/database/routes/user-totp-routes.ts, verifyTotpReauth returns success when bcrypt.compare validates the password, while each endpoint chooses password or totp_code as an interchangeable credential. An attacker who has a victim's authenticated session and knows the password can disable TOTP or regenerate and invalidate backup codes without an authenticator or valid second factor, weakening the account to single-factor authentication. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1. |
| An inefficient regular expression complexity issue in the in-memory query evaluation component of the Mongoid library may allow an unauthenticated party to cause excessive processing within an embedding application process. Applications that place user-supplied text into a pattern-matching query condition on an embedded association may become unresponsive. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gfs2: fix quota init duplicate scan
gfs2_quota_init() checks for duplicate quota_change IDs while holding
qd_lock and the quota hash bucket bitlock. That path used
gfs2_qd_search_bucket(), which takes a lockref reference via
lockref_get_not_dead().
On PREEMPT_RT this may sleep, which is not allowed under the bucket
bitlock, triggering "sleeping function called from invalid context".
Use a no-ref bucket lookup in this path, then continue duplicate
handling without taking a lockref there.
Refactor gfs2_qd_search_bucket() to build on top of the no-ref helper
so lookup traversal stays in one place.
This patch fixes a bug reported by syzbot. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gfs2: move quota_init qc iterator increment
Move qc++ from the loop body into the for-loop increment
expression in gfs2_quota_init().
This keeps iterator progression explicit and avoids mixing pointer
advance with duplicate-slot handling in the loop body. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe: Fix null pointer dereference in devcoredump cleanup
In xe_devcoredump_snapshot_free(), ss->gt may be NULL when the snapshot
was never fully populated (e.g., when cleanup is triggered without a
prior capture). Guard the xe_guc_capture_put_matched_nodes() call with
IS_ERR_OR_NULL() to prevent a null dereference.
In xe_devcoredump_free(), the deferred work is only queued when a
coredump is captured, so guard cancel_work_sync() with a check on
coredump->captured. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: cfg80211: reject duplicate wiphy cipher suite entries
Duplicate entries in wiphy->cipher_suites do not describe any
additional capability, but cfg80211 currently accepts them and leaves
individual consumers to deal with them.
One such consumer is the WEXT compatibility code, which appends a WEP
key length for each WEP cipher entry it sees. Repeated WEP entries can
therefore overflow the fixed iw_range::encoding_size array returned by
SIOCGIWRANGE.
Reject duplicate cipher suite entries in wiphy_register() instead.
This keeps the cipher suite invariant in one place and makes malformed
wiphy descriptions fail early with -EINVAL, rather than relying on a
single cfg80211 user to handle duplicates correctly. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: nl80211: reject beacons with bad HE operation
The HE operation element not only needs to be longer than
the fixed part, but also have an appropriate size for the
variable part inside of it. Check this. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: rtw88: Add NULL check for chip->edcca_th in rtw_fw_adaptivity_result()
It was recently reported that rtw_fw_adaptivity_result()
in fw.c dereferences rtwdev->chip->edcca_th without
a NULL check. The issue is that devices with the
8821CE chip don't define edcca_th in their chip
info. As a result, when rtw_fw_adaptivity_result()
tries to dereference it, the kernel triggers an oops.
Add a NULL check for edcca_th before dereferencing
it in rtw_fw_adaptivity_result() in fw.c. Placing
the check at the function entry avoids logging any
garbage values.
This change does not address the root cause for
this behavior, but it prevents the NULL dereference
and the resulting oops while a more permanent solution
is developed.
Tested on a 8822CE chip which defines edcca_th, so
this issue is not present on it, but it still uses
this driver and I can verify there are no regressions. |
| Mongoid contains an unsafe reflection weakness in the query path used for embedded documents. An application that passes an externally supplied field name to certain in-memory query methods may allow an unauthenticated party to obtain unintended disclosure of stored document data and to permanently remove stored records. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
i3c: master: svc: Prevent IRQ storm from false SLVSTART on NPCM845
On NPCM845, when a target on the I3C bus gets stuck holding SDA low,
the controller reports a false Master Request (MR) in-band interrupt
event. The driver handles this by emitting a STOP condition to restore
the bus.
However, the hardware quirk SVC_I3C_QUIRK_FALSE_SLVSTART indicates that
emitting a STOP condition may spuriously set the SLVSTART interrupt
status bit. In the Master Request case, this creates a feedback loop:
the STOP triggers a new SLVSTART event, the IRQ handler fires again,
the controller still reports an MR type, another STOP is emitted, and
the cycle repeats indefinitely, resulting in an IRQ storm that can lock
up the CPU.
Clear the SLVSTART status bit explicitly after emitting the STOP in the
Master Request IBI handler when the SVC_I3C_QUIRK_FALSE_SLVSTART quirk
is set. This breaks the feedback loop without affecting normal SLVSTART
processing, which is already guarded in the top-level IRQ handler by
checking that MSTATUS is in SLVREQ state. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: chips-media: wave5: Fix Reports from Kernel Lock Validator
handle_dynamic_resolution change requires that the state_lock be acquired
based on the lockdep_assert_held. However, the
handle_dynamic_resolution_change call in initialize_sequence does not
properly obtain the lock before calling.
Since the v4l2_ctrl_find and s_ctrl can sleep, they should not be called
while a lock is already held. Store off the fbc_buf_count then properly
update control once lock has been freed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: chips-media: wave5: Release m2m_ctx after Instance Removed from List
Possible use after free if IRQ thread manages to obtain spinlock between
m2m_ctx release and wave5_release function removing stream instance from
list of active instances. The IRQ thread looks for the m2m_ctx which is
freed so null pointer dereference occurs. |
