CVE-2025-14104 1 Redhat 6 Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 3 more 2026-06-29 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in util-linux. This vulnerability allows a heap buffer overread when processing 256-byte usernames, specifically within the `setpwnam()` function, affecting SUID (Set User ID) login-utils utilities writing to the password database.
CVE-2025-13502 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more 2026-06-29 7.5 High
A flaw was found in WebKitGTK and WPE WebKit. This vulnerability allows an out-of-bounds read and integer underflow, leading to a UIProcess crash (DoS) via a crafted payload to the GLib remote inspector server.
CVE-2026-5757 1 Ollama 1 Ollama 2026-06-29 7.5 High
Unauthenticated remote information disclosure vulnerability in Ollama's model quantization engine allows an attacker to read and exfiltrate the server's heap memory, potentially leading to sensitive data exposure, further compromise, and stealthy persistence.
CVE-2026-48770 1 Notepad-plus-plus 2 Notepad++, Notepad\+\+ 2026-06-29 5 Medium
Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.6.1, a local process in the same interactive Windows session can send a malformed WM_COPYDATA message to Notepad++ using the COPYDATA_FULL_CMDLINE path. The handler appears to process COPYDATASTRUCT.lpData as an unbounded NUL-terminated wchar_t* instead of enforcing COPYDATASTRUCT.cbData. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.9.6.1.
CVE-2026-53303 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-29 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: protect extension_list reading with sb_lock in f2fs_sbi_show() In f2fs_sbi_show(), the extension_list, extension_count and hot_ext_count are read without holding sbi->sb_lock. If a concurrent sysfs store modifies the extension list via f2fs_update_extension_list(), the show path may read inconsistent count and array contents, potentially leading to out-of-bounds access or displaying stale data. Fix this by holding sb_lock around the entire extension list read and format operation.
CVE-2026-58058 1 Nmap 1 Nmap 2026-06-29 6.5 Medium
Nmap through 7.99 does not keep the IPv6 extension-header walk within the captured packet in ipv6_get_data_primitive (libnetutil/netutil.cc), so the pointer advances past the buffer and the remaining-length computation underflows to a large value. A scanned target or on-path attacker returning a crafted IPv6 response with a truncated extension header can trigger out-of-bounds reads and a crash during raw IPv6 scans.
CVE-2026-53282 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-29 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/kexec: Push kjump return address even for non-kjump kexec The version of purgatory code shipped by kexec-tools attempts to look above the top of its stack to find a return address for a kjump, even in a non-kjump kexec. After the commit in Fixes: the word above the stack might not be there, leading to a fault (which is at least now caught by my exception-handling code in kexec). That commit fixed things for the actual kjump path, but no longer "gratuitously" pushes the unused return address to the stack in the non-kjump path. Put that *back* in the non-kjump path, to prevent purgatory from crashing when trying to access it.
CVE-2026-13522 1 Investintech 1 Slimpdfreader 2026-06-29 4.3 Medium
A security flaw has been discovered in Investintech SlimPDFReader up to 2.0.14. Affected by this issue is the function SlimPDFReader!Investintech::PCV::TeighaDo+0x25cde0 of the file SlimPDFReader.exe of the component PDF File Handler. Performing a manipulation results in out-of-bounds read. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
CVE-2026-9267 1 Eclipse 1 Tinydtls 2026-06-29 N/A
Eclipse tinydtls before commit b3efd41ad111a4920f599f51ffa4f5e9f1e72221 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the check_server_certificate() function that allows unauthenticated attackers to trigger reads beyond valid buffer boundaries by crafting a Certificate handshake message with a specific fragment_length value. Attackers can exploit missing buffer length validation before uint24 reads, memcmp, and memcpy operations during DTLS epoch 0 on both client and server paths to cause denial of service on memory-constrained devices.
CVE-2026-45258 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2026-06-29 7.8 High
dsp_mmap_single() validated the requested mapping by checking the sum of the user-supplied offset and length against the buffer size. This addition could overflow, so that a large offset and length wrapped around and passed the check. The offset was then narrowed from 64 to 32 bits when converted to a buffer address, yielding a mapping that extended past the audio buffer into unrelated kernel memory. The /dev/dsp device nodes are world-accessible by default. On a system with an audio device, either issue allows an unprivileged local user to read and write kernel memory, which can be used to escalate privileges, potentially gaining full control of the affected system. At a minimum, an attacker can crash the kernel, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
CVE-2026-53224 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 9.1 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: validate embedded INIT chunk and address list lengths in cookie sctp_unpack_cookie() only checked that the embedded INIT chunk length did not exceed the remaining cookie payload, but did not ensure that the INIT chunk is large enough to contain a complete INIT header. A malformed COOKIE_ECHO can therefore carry a truncated INIT chunk whose length field is smaller than sizeof(struct sctp_init_chunk). Later, sctp_process_init() accesses INIT parameters unconditionally, which may lead to out-of-bounds reads. In addition, raw_addr_list_len is not fully validated against the remaining cookie payload. When cookie authentication is disabled, an attacker can supply an oversized raw_addr_list_len and cause sctp_raw_to_bind_addrs() to read beyond the end of the cookie. The address parser also lacks sufficient bounds checks for parameter headers and lengths, allowing malformed address parameters to trigger out-of-bounds reads. Fix this by: - requiring the embedded INIT chunk length to be at least sizeof(struct sctp_init_chunk); - validating that the INIT chunk and raw address list together fit within the cookie payload; - verifying sufficient data exists for each address parameter header and payload before parsing it. Note that sctp_verify_init() must be called after sctp_unpack_cookie() and before sctp_process_init() when cookie authentication is disabled. This will be addressed in a separate patch.
CVE-2026-53230 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 8.7 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: Fix slab-out-of-bounds in mlx5_query_nic_vport_mac_list mlx5_query_nic_vport_mac_list() sizes its firmware command buffer using the PF's log_max_current_uc/mc_list capabilities. When querying a VF vport with a larger configured max (via devlink), the firmware response can overflow this buffer: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in mlx5_query_nic_vport_mac_list+0x453/0x4c0 [mlx5_core] Read of size 4 at addr ff1100013ffc8a12 by task kworker/u96:2/385 CPU: 12 UID: 0 PID: 385 Comm: kworker/u96:2 Not tainted 7.0.0-rc6+ #1 PREEMPT Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009) Workqueue: mlx5_esw_wq esw_vport_change_handler [mlx5_core] Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x69/0xa0 print_report+0x176/0x4e4 kasan_report+0xc8/0x100 mlx5_query_nic_vport_mac_list+0x453/0x4c0 [mlx5_core] esw_update_vport_addr_list+0x2e3/0xda0 [mlx5_core] esw_vport_change_handle_locked+0xa1f/0x1060 [mlx5_core] esw_vport_change_handler+0x6a/0x90 [mlx5_core] process_one_work+0x87f/0x15e0 worker_thread+0x62b/0x1020 kthread+0x375/0x490 ret_from_fork+0x4dc/0x810 ret_from_fork_asm+0x11/0x20 </TASK> Fix by querying the vport's own HCA caps to size the buffer correctly. Refactor the function to allocate and return the MAC list internally, removing the caller's dependency on knowing the correct max.
CVE-2026-53223 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: guard timestamp cmsgs to real error queue skbs skb_is_err_queue() treats PACKET_OUTGOING as the sole marker for an skb from sk_error_queue. That assumption is not true for AF_PACKET sockets: outgoing packet taps are also delivered to packet sockets with skb->pkt_type == PACKET_OUTGOING, but their skb->cb is owned by AF_PACKET instead of struct sock_exterr_skb. If such an skb is received with timestamping enabled, the generic timestamp cmsg path can read AF_PACKET control-buffer state as sock_exterr_skb::opt_stats. With SO_RXQ_OVFL enabled, the packet drop counter overlaps opt_stats. An odd drop count makes the path emit SCM_TIMESTAMPING_OPT_STATS with skb->len and skb->data. For non-linear skbs this copies past the linear head and can trigger hardened usercopy or disclose adjacent heap contents. Keep skb_is_err_queue() local to net/socket.c, but make it verify that the PACKET_OUTGOING marker is paired with the sock_rmem_free destructor installed by sock_queue_err_skb(). AF_PACKET receive skbs use normal receive ownership and no longer pass as error-queue skbs, while legitimate sk_error_queue entries keep the PACKET_OUTGOING marker and sock_rmem_free ownership.
CVE-2026-53187 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/core: Validate cpu_id against nr_cpu_ids in DMAH alloc The cpu_id attribute supplied by user space through UVERBS_ATTR_ALLOC_DMAH_CPU_ID is passed directly to cpumask_test_cpu() without first verifying that the value is within the valid CPU range. Passing such untrusted data to cpumask_test_cpu() may lead to an out-of-bounds read of the underlying cpumask bitmap: the helper expands to a test_bit() that indexes the bitmap by cpu_id / BITS_PER_LONG with no bound check. In addition, on kernels built with CONFIG_DEBUG_PER_CPU_MAPS it trips the WARN_ON_ONCE() in cpumask_check(); combined with panic_on_warn this turns a bad user input into a machine reboot. Reject any cpu_id that is not smaller than nr_cpu_ids with -EINVAL before it is used. Reported by Smatch.
CVE-2026-53172 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/ethosu: fix IFM region index out-of-bounds in command stream parser NPU_SET_IFM_REGION extracts the region index with param & 0x7f, giving a maximum value of 127. However region_size[] and output_region[] in struct ethosu_validated_cmdstream_info are both sized to NPU_BASEP_REGION_MAX (8), giving valid indices [0..7]. Every other region assignment in the same switch uses param & 0x7: NPU_SET_OFM_REGION: st.ofm.region = param & 0x7; NPU_SET_IFM2_REGION: st.ifm2.region = param & 0x7; NPU_SET_WEIGHT_REGION: st.weight[0].region = param & 0x7; NPU_SET_SCALE_REGION: st.scale[0].region = param & 0x7; The 0x7f mask on IFM is inconsistent and appears to be a typo. feat_matrix_length() and calc_sizes() use the region index directly as an array subscript into the kzalloc'd info struct: info->region_size[fm->region] = max(...); A userspace caller supplying NPU_SET_IFM_REGION with param > 7 causes a write up to 127*8 = 1016 bytes past the start of region_size[], corrupting adjacent kernel heap data. Fix by applying the same & 0x7 mask used by all other region assignments.
CVE-2026-53131 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 9.4 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: require Ethernet MAC header before using eth_hdr() `ip6t_eui64`, `xt_mac`, the `bitmap:ip,mac`, `hash:ip,mac`, and `hash:mac` ipset types, and `nf_log_syslog` access `eth_hdr(skb)` after either assuming that the skb is associated with an Ethernet device or checking only that the `ETH_HLEN` bytes at `skb_mac_header(skb)` lie between `skb->head` and `skb->data`. Make these paths first verify that the skb is associated with an Ethernet device, that the MAC header was set, and that it spans at least a full Ethernet header before accessing `eth_hdr(skb)`.
CVE-2026-53076 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix OOB in pcpu_init_value An out-of-bounds read occurs when copying element from a BPF_MAP_TYPE_CGROUP_STORAGE map to another pcpu map with the same value_size that is not rounded up to 8 bytes. The issue happens when: 1. A CGROUP_STORAGE map is created with value_size not aligned to 8 bytes (e.g., 4 bytes) 2. A pcpu map is created with the same value_size (e.g., 4 bytes) 3. Update element in 2 with data in 1 pcpu_init_value assumes that all sources are rounded up to 8 bytes, and invokes copy_map_value_long to make a data copy, However, the assumption doesn't stand since there are some cases where the source may not be rounded up to 8 bytes, e.g., CGROUP_STORAGE, skb->data. the verifier verifies exactly the size that the source claims, not the size rounded up to 8 bytes by kernel, an OOB happens when the source has only 4 bytes while the copy size(4) is rounded up to 8.
CVE-2026-53044 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc/tegra: cbb: Fix incorrect ARRAY_SIZE in fabric lookup tables Fix incorrect ARRAY_SIZE usage in fabric lookup tables which could cause out-of-bounds access during target timeout lookup.
CVE-2026-52999 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 9.1 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_osf: fix out-of-bounds read on option matching In nf_osf_match(), the nf_osf_hdr_ctx structure is initialized once and passed by reference to nf_osf_match_one() for each fingerprint checked. During TCP option parsing, nf_osf_match_one() advances the shared ctx->optp pointer. If a fingerprint perfectly matches, the function returns early without restoring ctx->optp to its initial state. If the user has configured NF_OSF_LOGLEVEL_ALL, the loop continues to the next fingerprint. However, because ctx->optp was not restored, the next call to nf_osf_match_one() starts parsing from the end of the options buffer. This causes subsequent matches to read garbage data and fail immediately, making it impossible to log more than one match or logging incorrect matches. Instead of using a shared ctx->optp pointer, pass the context as a constant pointer and use a local pointer (optp) for TCP option traversal. This makes nf_osf_match_one() strictly stateless from the caller's perspective, ensuring every fingerprint check starts at the correct option offset.
CVE-2026-52967 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 8.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb/client: fix possible infinite loop and oob read in symlink_data() On 32-bit architectures, the infinite loop is as follows: len = p->ErrorDataLength == 0xfffffff8 u8 *next = p->ErrorContextData + len next == p On 32-bit architectures, the out-of-bounds read is as follows: len = p->ErrorDataLength == 0xfffffff0 u8 *next = p->ErrorContextData + len next == (u8 *)p - 8
