CVE-2022-50718 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix pci device refcount leak As comment of pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot() says, it returns a pci device with refcount increment, when finish using it, the caller must decrement the reference count by calling pci_dev_put(). So before returning from amdgpu_device_resume|suspend_display_audio(), pci_dev_put() is called to avoid refcount leak.
CVE-2022-50721 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: qcom-adm: fix wrong calling convention for prep_slave_sg The calling convention for pre_slave_sg is to return NULL on error and provide an error log to the system. Qcom-adm instead provide error pointer when an error occur. This indirectly cause kernel panic for example for the nandc driver that checks only if the pointer returned by device_prep_slave_sg is not NULL. Returning an error pointer makes nandc think the device_prep_slave_sg function correctly completed and makes the kernel panics later in the code. While nandc is the one that makes the kernel crash, it was pointed out that the real problem is qcom-adm not following calling convention for that function. To fix this, drop returning error pointer and return NULL with an error log.
CVE-2022-50723 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: fix memory leak in bnxt_nvm_test() Free the kzalloc'ed buffer before returning in the success path.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: efct: Fix possible memleak in efct_device_init() In efct_device_init(), when efct_scsi_reg_fc_transport() fails, efct_scsi_tgt_driver_exit() is not called to release memory for efct_scsi_tgt_driver_init() and causes memleak: unreferenced object 0xffff8881020ce000 (size 2048): comm "modprobe", pid 465, jiffies 4294928222 (age 55.872s) backtrace: [<0000000021a1ef1b>] kmalloc_trace+0x27/0x110 [<000000004c3ed51c>] target_register_template+0x4fd/0x7b0 [target_core_mod] [<00000000f3393296>] efct_scsi_tgt_driver_init+0x18/0x50 [efct] [<00000000115de533>] 0xffffffffc0d90011 [<00000000d608f646>] do_one_initcall+0xd0/0x4e0 [<0000000067828cf1>] do_init_module+0x1cc/0x6a0 ...
CVE-2022-50729 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: Fix resource leak in ksmbd_session_rpc_open() When ksmbd_rpc_open() fails then it must call ksmbd_rpc_id_free() to undo the result of ksmbd_ipc_id_alloc().
CVE-2022-50742 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: misc: ocxl: fix possible refcount leak in afu_ioctl() eventfd_ctx_put need to be called to put the refcount that gotten by eventfd_ctx_fdget when ocxl_irq_set_handler fails.
CVE-2022-50731 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: akcipher - default implementation for setting a private key Changes from v1: * removed the default implementation from set_pub_key: it is assumed that an implementation must always have this callback defined as there are no use case for an algorithm, which doesn't need a public key Many akcipher implementations (like ECDSA) support only signature verifications, so they don't have all callbacks defined. Commit 78a0324f4a53 ("crypto: akcipher - default implementations for request callbacks") introduced default callbacks for sign/verify operations, which just return an error code. However, these are not enough, because before calling sign the caller would likely call set_priv_key first on the instantiated transform (as the in-kernel testmgr does). This function does not have a default stub, so the kernel crashes, when trying to set a private key on an akcipher, which doesn't support signature generation. I've noticed this, when trying to add a KAT vector for ECDSA signature to the testmgr. With this patch the testmgr returns an error in dmesg (as it should) instead of crashing the kernel NULL ptr dereference.
CVE-2022-50734 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmem: core: Fix memleak in nvmem_register() dev_set_name will alloc memory for nvmem->dev.kobj.name in nvmem_register, when nvmem_validate_keepouts failed, nvmem's memory will be freed and return, but nobody will free memory for nvmem->dev.kobj.name, there will be memleak, so moving nvmem_validate_keepouts() after device_register() and let the device core deal with cleaning name in error cases.
CVE-2022-50739 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: Add null pointer check for inode operations This adds a sanity check for the i_op pointer of the inode which is returned after reading Root directory MFT record. We should check the i_op is valid before trying to create the root dentry, otherwise we may encounter a NPD while mounting a image with a funny Root directory MFT record. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipc: mqueue: fix possible memory leak in init_mqueue_fs() commit db7cfc380900 ("ipc: Free mq_sysctls if ipc namespace creation failed") Here's a similar memory leak to the one fixed by the patch above. retire_mq_sysctls need to be called when init_mqueue_fs fails after setup_mq_sysctls.
CVE-2022-50749 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: acct: fix potential integer overflow in encode_comp_t() The integer overflow is descripted with following codes: > 317 static comp_t encode_comp_t(u64 value) > 318 { > 319 int exp, rnd; ...... > 341 exp <<= MANTSIZE; > 342 exp += value; > 343 return exp; > 344 } Currently comp_t is defined as type of '__u16', but the variable 'exp' is type of 'int', so overflow would happen when variable 'exp' in line 343 is greater than 65535.
CVE-2022-50754 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: fix a memleak in multi_transaction_new() In multi_transaction_new(), the variable t is not freed or passed out on the failure of copy_from_user(t->data, buf, size), which could lead to a memleak. Fix this bug by adding a put_multi_transaction(t) in the error path.
CVE-2022-50761 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/xen: Fix memory leak in xen_init_lock_cpu() In xen_init_lock_cpu(), the @name has allocated new string by kasprintf(), if bind_ipi_to_irqhandler() fails, it should be freed, otherwise may lead to a memory leak issue, fix it.
CVE-2022-50762 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: Avoid UBSAN error on true_sectors_per_clst() syzbot reported UBSAN error as below: [ 76.901829][ T6677] ================================================================================ [ 76.903908][ T6677] UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in fs/ntfs3/super.c:675:13 [ 76.905363][ T6677] shift exponent -247 is negative This patch avoid this error.
CVE-2022-50763 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: marvell/octeontx - prevent integer overflows The "code_length" value comes from the firmware file. If your firmware is untrusted realistically there is probably very little you can do to protect yourself. Still we try to limit the damage as much as possible. Also Smatch marks any data read from the filesystem as untrusted and prints warnings if it not capped correctly. The "code_length * 2" can overflow. The round_up(ucode_size, 16) + sizeof() expression can overflow too. Prevent these overflows.
CVE-2022-50764 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6/sit: use DEV_STATS_INC() to avoid data-races syzbot/KCSAN reported that multiple cpus are updating dev->stats.tx_error concurrently. This is because sit tunnels are NETIF_F_LLTX, meaning their ndo_start_xmit() is not protected by a spinlock. While original KCSAN report was about tx path, rx path has the same issue.
CVE-2022-50767 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: smscufx: Fix several use-after-free bugs Several types of UAFs can occur when physically removing a USB device. Adds ufx_ops_destroy() function to .fb_destroy of fb_ops, and in this function, there is kref_put() that finally calls ufx_free(). This fix prevents multiple UAFs.
CVE-2022-50768 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: smartpqi: Correct device removal for multi-actuator devices Correct device count for multi-actuator drives which can cause kernel panics.
