CVE-2026-74742 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-26 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: veth: fix queue index used to wake the peer txq in veth_poll veth_poll() derives the index of the peer TX queue to wake from rq->xdp_rxq.queue_index. That field is only initialized by xdp_rxq_info_reg() in veth_enable_xdp_range(), which runs only when an XDP program is attached. On the plain GRO/NAPI path (veth_napi_enable_range()) xdp_rxq_info_reg() is never called, so queue_index stays 0 for every queue, as priv->rq is zero-allocated. So in a multi-queue setup with GRO enabled and no XDP program attached, every NAPI instance looks at the peer's TX queue 0. If veth_xmit() stops peer TX queue 1 because the ptr_ring is full (NETDEV_TX_BUSY), nothing ever wakes it again: the poller draining queue 1 wakes queue 0 instead. veth implements no ndo_tx_timeout, so the netdev watchdog does not kick in either, and the queue stays stopped indefinitely. Derive the index from the position of the rq within priv->rq instead, which is correct regardless of whether XDP was ever enabled. Scripts to reproduce the stall are available at https://github.com/netoptimizer/veth-backpressure-performance-testing
CVE-2026-74749 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-26 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rseq: Prevent hard lockup on granted time slice extension __exit_to_user_mode_loop() invokes rseq_grant_timeslice_extension() with interrupts enabled. If the extension is granted it invokes hrtimer_rearm_deferred_tif() to ensure that a pending deferred hrtimer rearm is handled before exiting to user space. Though this invokes __hrtimer_rearm_deferred() which expects to be invoked with interrupts disabled as it takes hrtimer_cpu_base::lock with raw_spin_lock(). That's a livelock waiting to happen and caught by lockdep: WARNING: ./include/linux/hrtimer_rearm.h:17 at irqentry_exit, CPU#1: slice_test WARNING: inconsistent lock state inconsistent {IN-HARDIRQ-W} -> {HARDIRQ-ON-W} usage. Prevent this by disabling interrupts around the invocation of hrtimer_rearm_deferred_tif() in rseq_grant_timeslice_extension(). [ tglx: Massaged change log ]
CVE-2026-80523 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-26 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: spacemit: k3: set hdma clock as critical HDMA clock is responsible for the internal TCM access path of X100 RISC-V core, so set the clock flag as critical to prevent it from being shut off, otherwise the Linux system will hang, for example in the case of a vector instruction access generates a page fault.
CVE-2026-80550 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-26 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/vfio_ccw: Fix out of bounds check on CCW array The routine ccwchain_calc_length() counts the number of channel command words (CCWs) that are chained together in a single channel program, and rejects anything larger than CCWCHAIN_LEN_MAX (256) CCWs. The loop itself is "do..while (count < 257)", and while the logic in is_cpa_within_range() correctly adjusts between the 0-index array of CCWs and the count of CCWs starting at 1, this means it would look at a possible 257th CCW before ending the loop and (correctly) returning an error. Fix this by restructuring the loop to break as soon as 256 CCWs (thus indexes 0-255) are examined, without looking at memory outside the range.
CVE-2026-80530 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-26 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: fix exchange-range reflink flag clearing issue with INO1_WRITTEN When exchanging two full-file ranges, xmi_can_exchange_reflink_flags() can move the reflink inode flag from the file that currently has it to the other file, as long as exactly one side is marked. This assumes that the file contents, and therefore all shared extents, are exchanged. That assumption is not true when XFS_EXCHMAPS_INO1_WRITTEN is set. xfs_exchmaps_can_skip_mapping() can skip hole and unwritten mappings from file1, so an exchange can complete without moving every mapping that the earlier flag-swap decision accounted for. In that case the post-operation cleanup can clear the reflink flag from an inode that still owns shared written extents. Later writes then take the non-reflink write path and may update blocks that should still have been protected by CoW, which shows up as data corruption between reflink-related files. Fix this by disabling the reflink flag exchange whenever XFS_EXCHMAPS_INO1_WRITTEN is requested. The contents exchange can still proceed; the conservative outcome is that both inodes keep the reflink flag. The regular reflink flag cleanup path can drop the extra flag later once the inode no longer has shared extents.
CVE-2022-1011 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 3 more 39 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 36 more 2026-08-26 7.8 High
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s FUSE filesystem in the way a user triggers write(). This flaw allows a local user to gain unauthorized access to data from the FUSE filesystem, resulting in privilege escalation.
CVE-2022-3534 2 Debian, Linux 3 Debian Linux, Kernel, Linux Kernel 2026-08-26 5.5 Medium
A vulnerability has been found in Linux Kernel up to 5.10.162/5.15.85/6.0.15/6.1.1. The impacted element is the function btf_dump_name_dups of the file tools/lib/bpf/btf_dump.c of the component libbpf. The manipulation leads to use after free. Upgrading to version 5.10.163, 5.15.86, 6.0.16, 6.1.2 and 6.2 is sufficient to resolve this issue. The identifier of the patch is c61650b869e0b6fb0c0a28ed42d928eea969afc8/fbe08093fb2334549859829ef81d42570812597d/8c64a8e76eb85d422af5ec60ccbf26e3ead8c333/a733bf10198eb5bb927890940de8ab457491ed3b/93c660ca40b5d2f7c1b1626e955a8e9fa30e0749. You should upgrade the affected component.
CVE-2026-78901 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-08-26 7.5 High
Race condition in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-58090 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2026-08-26 7.8 High
The SOCK_STREAM receive path in the unix socket implementation failed to fully detach control messages from the socket buffer before processing them. Some error paths would free those messages, leaving freed data mbufs in the receive socket buffer. An unprivileged local user can exploit this use-after-free to escalate privileges.
CVE-2026-58092 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2026-08-26 5.4 Medium
In FreeBSD 15.0, the kernel structure used to represent user credentials changed: previously the primary group ID was stored in the first element of the array containing the list of supplementary group IDs, whereas now the primary group ID is stored in a dedicated field. This change was largely internal to the kernel and not user-visible. One function, group_is_primary(), was not properly updated as a part of this transition. This function is used by mac_do to determine the primary group ID of the credential after applying a transition rule, used when the rule target does not explicitly specify a group. As a result, with certain mac_do rules, it is possible for a credential switch to incorrectly set the primary group ID to the ID stored in the first element of the original credential's supplementary group array. If the list of supplementary groups is empty, this value will be 0, corresponding to the "wheel" group. For example, a rule such as "uid=1001>uid=1002" can be abused to set the primary group ID to 0 even if the process did not originally belong to group 0. Certain mac_do rules can be abused to set a process' group ID to 0. Note however, that the rule must apply to the caller in order for the bug to be triggered, e.g., given the ruleset "uid=1001>uid=1002", the user must have user ID 1001 in order to trigger the bug. Further, logged-in users will in general have a non-empty supplementary group list, in which case the bug can at worst be used to set the credential's first supplementary group ID as its primary group ID. Processes must explicitly remove themselves from all supplementary groups, using the privileged setgroups(2) system call, in order to exploit the bug to set 0 as the primary group ID. Since membership in group 0 is often used to enable controlled privilege escalation, the bug might be further exploitable to obtain root privileges, depending on the system configuration. For instance, a ruleset such as the following could be exploited by a process running as user 1001 and with an empty supplementary group list: "uid=1001>uid=1002;gid=0>uid=0".
CVE-2026-58095 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2026-08-26 9.8 Critical
mp_Enddisc() used incorrect length calculations when formatting endpoint discriminator addresses for display, allowing a received endpoint option to overflow a global result buffer. A malicious PPP peer can crash ppp(8) or potentially execute arbitrary code as root.
CVE-2026-13404 2026-08-26 5.3 Medium
The Royal Addons for Elementor WordPress plugin before 1.7.1066 does not perform any capability or ownership check (relying only on a publicly-scrapeable nonce) before writing like-count and visitor-tracking post meta keyed on an arbitrary post ID, allowing unauthenticated users to modify that metadata on any post, including private and draft posts.
CVE-2026-14212 2026-08-26 4.7 Medium
The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar WordPress plugin before 9.8 does not verify that an authenticated employee (provider) owns the provider account being updated, allowing any employee with an Employee Panel login to overwrite another employee's cabinet password and take over their account.
CVE-2026-14550 2026-08-26 5.3 Medium
The WPCafe WordPress plugin before 3.0.18 does not perform an authorization check when creating a reservation through its REST API, verifying only a publicly available nonce, allowing unauthenticated users to submit reservations with an arbitrary approval status and bypass the administrator moderation workflow.
CVE-2026-16986 2026-08-26 5.3 Medium
The Booking Package WordPress plugin before 1.7.25 does not validate the payment amount server-side against the stored service price, deriving the expected charge from attacker-supplied request values instead, so an unauthenticated attacker can pay an arbitrary fraction of a service's real price.
CVE-2026-19220 2026-08-26 3.7 Low
The Forminator Forms WordPress plugin before 1.57.1 does not verify that site registration is enabled on the network before creating a site signup, allowing unauthenticated visitors to create a new site on a WordPress multisite network and gain administrator privileges on it.
CVE-2026-74930 2026-08-26 4.3 Medium
The Project Manager WordPress plugin before 4.0.7 does not check that the user whose activity is being requested is the one making the request in one of its REST API routes, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to read any other user's activity history along with their email address and the details of projects they have no access to.
CVE-2026-80427 1 Bestzip Project 1 Bestzip 2026-08-26 8.4 High
bestzip builds the argument list for the system zip utility without separating options from operands. The destination archive path and the caller-supplied source paths are passed to the child process with no -- delimiter between them, so any source entry beginning with a hyphen is interpreted by zip as an option rather than a file name. zip accepts -T to test the finished archive and -TT to name the command used to perform that test, so a source list containing those two entries and a command string causes zip to run that command through a shell once the archive has been written. An application that passes a file name or path it received from an untrusted source into the bestzip API therefore executes a command of the supplier's choosing. Versions 2.2.6 and 3.0.2 add the delimiter.
CVE-2026-80538 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-26 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: propagate errors from xfs_rtginode_load xfs_rtginode_ensure() treats every xfs_rtginode_load() error other than -ENOENT as success. This can leave the realtime group inode unset after an I/O, allocation, or corruption error. Growfs then continues as though the inode had been loaded. Only -ENOENT means that the inode needs to be created. Return all other errors to the growfs caller.
CVE-2021-28691 2 Linux, Netapp 19 Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup, H300e and 16 more 2026-08-26 7.8 High
Guest triggered use-after-free in Linux xen-netback A malicious or buggy network PV frontend can force Linux netback to disable the interface and terminate the receive kernel thread associated with queue 0 in response to the frontend sending a malformed packet. Such kernel thread termination will lead to a use-after-free in Linux netback when the backend is destroyed, as the kernel thread associated with queue 0 will have already exited and thus the call to kthread_stop will be performed against a stale pointer.
