An issue in Berkeley Out-of-Order Machine (BOOM) / BoomTile RTL benchmark v1.2 2d08d0d8b4563212175212f9db0e69f6e68c9619 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the CSR trap-return state restoration logic, MRET handling logic, mstatus.MPRV update path, CSRFile logic in ProcessorFuzz BOOM benchmark Benchmarks/Verilog/SmallBoomTile_v1.2_state.v
Joomla Extension - yootheme.com - Open redirect in CommentController::twitterAuthenticate() in Zoo < 4.1.64 - The referer request parameter is passed straight to setRedirect() with no validation.
A flaw was found in search-indexer. This vulnerability allows a registered and authenticated managed cluster to tamper with or delete another cluster's indexed search data. This is possible because the delta-sync write paths in search-indexer do not properly restrict UPDATE/DELETE operations to data owned by the calling cluster. An attacker could exploit this by crafting specific user identifiers (UIDs) with a different cluster's prefix.
In OpenStack Aodh before 22.0.1, the alarm list API bypasses project scoping when the all_projects query parameter is set to false. The API checks for the presence of the all_projects key rather than its value; a true value enforces the administrator-only policy, but a false value removes the key and skips the branch that normally restricts results to the caller's project. A non-admin user with the reader role can list alarms from all projects, exposing alarm actions containing trust webhook URLs, Heat signal endpoints, project IDs, and user IDs. The parameter can also be combined with a foreign project_id to target a specific project's alarms. A related concern is that OpenStack Watcher does not apply authorization to its webhook trigger endpoint. Any authenticated user who learns an audit's webhook URL, for example from this leaked Aodh alarm metadata, can start an EVENT audit and its associated action plan regardless of their own project or role. The webhook endpoint has lacked policy enforcement since its introduction in the Ussuri release (Watcher 4.0.0).
| Punk::OAuth2 versions before 0.03 for Perl allow an attacker-chosen off-site redirect after login because same_origin_path accepts a backslash or tab in the return parameter.
oauth2_login reads the return parameter from the initiation request, runs same_origin_path over it, and stores the survivor in the session flow record as the post-login redirect target. That check rejects a value that does not begin with a slash, one with a slash as its second byte, and one containing CR or LF. A backslash and a tab pass. The URL Standard treats a backslash as equivalent to a slash for special schemes, so `/\evil.example` parses with the authority `evil.example`. It also strips ASCII tab before parsing, so a tab between two leading slashes leaves `//evil.example`.
A crafted link to the application's own login route lands the victim on the attacker's site after a genuine authentication. The redirect carries no authorization code or access token. |
Joomla Extension - yootheme.com - Reflected XSS and open redirect via the submission redirect parameter in Zoo < 4.1.66
Unleash is an open-source feature management platform. Prior to 7.5.2, 7.6.5, and 8.0.2, the shared OpenAPI validation error path in src/lib/error/bad-data-error.ts passes a raw request value from lodash.get to JSON.stringify in genericErrorMessage and fromOpenApiValidationErrors without guarding stack exhaustion. An unauthenticated attacker can send a roughly 10 KB JSON value nested thousands of levels deep to POST /edge/validate, POST /edge/issue-token, or another OpenAPI-validated endpoint, causing RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded in openAPIValidationMiddleware and terminating the Node process because no uncaughtException handler recovers it. Replaying the request can sustain a complete service outage. This issue is fixed in versions 7.5.2, 7.6.5, and 8.0.2.
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In 1.23.0 and earlier, a crafted HEIF or AVIF file containing a clean aperture box can reduce an image dimension to zero and crash or corrupt tiling results when heif_image_handle_get_image_tiling(handle, 1, &tiling) is called. ImageItem::get_heif_image_tiling() returns already transformed dimensions, and process_image_transformations_on_tiling() applies the clean aperture transformation again. The second application passes zero to Box_clap::left_rounded(0), where image_width minus one underflows and constructs Fraction(0xFFFFFFFF, 2). Debug builds reach an assertion and abort, while release builds can return a corrupt crop and zero-width tiling result. The affected implementation spans libheif/image-items/image_item.cc, libheif/context.cc, and libheif/box.cc. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1.
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In 1.23.0 and earlier, a crafted HEIF sequence accepted by heif_context_read_from_memory() can leave the context with no registered sequence tracks and crash when heif_context_get_track(ctx, 0) is called. HeifContext::get_track() in libheif/context.cc executes assert(has_sequence()) before its normal error handling, so assert-enabled builds abort instead of allowing the public wrapper in libheif/api/libheif/heif_sequences.cc to return null. In release builds, removing the assertion lets the track_id zero path dereference m_tracks.begin()->second on an empty map, which is undefined behavior and typically crashes. The issue is reachable through documented public APIs after parsing attacker-controlled bytes. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1.
The Quiz and Survey Master (QSM) WordPress plugin before 11.2.4 does not perform a per-object ownership check before saving a quiz's front-end text settings, allowing users with contributor-level access and above to modify the text settings of quizzes created by other users.
The Quiz and Survey Master (QSM) WordPress plugin before 11.2.4 does not perform a per-object ownership check on the REST routes that return a quiz's email-notification and results-page configuration, allowing users with contributor-level access and above to read the configuration, including notification recipient addresses, of quizzes created by other users.
Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - Pre-auth Payment Amount Tampering in Balbooa Forms < 2.4.3.2 - The stripeCharges and payAuthorize endpoints accept the charge total from a client-controlled request parameter and forward it to the payment gateway without recomputing it from the form's configured product prices. Neither endpoint enforces authentication or CSRF checks. An unauthenticated attacker can purchase any priced item for an arbitrary amount (e.g., $0.01), and can additionally forge line items, quantities, and shipping.
The TrueBooker – Appointment Booking and Scheduler System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key leading to Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.6. This is due to the admin_user_create_cus AJAX handler lacking any authentication or capability check before passing the attacker-supplied truebooker_wp_user_id parameter directly to wp_update_user. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the email address of any WordPress user — including an administrator — and then complete the standard WordPress lost-password flow to fully take over the targeted account.
Joomla Extension - tassos.gr - Client-controlled validation bypass in Convert Forms extension < 5.2.5 - The front-end Submissions view did not enforce access control. An unauthenticated visitor could therefore list a form's submissions.
stigmem-node before 0.9.0a12 contains a cross-tenant broken object level authorization (BOLA) flaw in the RTBF (right-to-be-forgotten) tombstone mechanism. issue_tombstone defaulted the tenant to "default" instead of the caller's tenant, allowing deletion records to be written to the wrong tenant, and the read-suppression path (_get_tombstone_filter and the tombstone scope cache) lacked a tenant_id predicate, so tombstone suppression was applied tenant-blind across fact queries and provenance reads. As a result, a tenant's deletion could be attributed to the wrong tenant and tombstone suppression could either hide facts belonging to other tenants or fail to hide facts within the correct tenant, undermining data isolation and RTBF guarantees. The issue is exploitable only on multi-tenant deployments running the opt-in stigmem-plugin-multi-tenant; single-tenant deployments are unaffected. Fixed in 0.9.0a12.
FFmpeg before commit b4c199c contains an incorrect integer narrowing conversion in the AV1 RTP packetizer (libavformat/rtpenc_av1.c). The OBU size is cast to long before comparison against the remaining frame size. On targets where long is 32 bits, including 64-bit Windows, sufficiently large OBU size values are sign-flipped by the narrowing cast, producing a negative value that passes the payload size check. This allows an oversized OBU to bypass the safety bound on affected platforms, leading to out-of-bounds memory access when the oversized value is subsequently used as a copy length.
Mitigation bypass in the Storage: Cache API component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 140.14, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, Thunderbird 140.14, and Thunderbird 153.1.
Mitigation bypass in the Safe Browsing component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 140.14, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, Thunderbird 140.14, and Thunderbird 153.1.
Grav API Plugin is a RESTful API for Grav CMS that provides full headless access to your site's content. Prior to 1.0.6, Grav API plugin UsersController::createApiKey(), generate2fa(), and disable2fa() omit the accessGrantsSuper() target check used by sibling user mutation endpoints. A non-super account with api.users.write can mint an API key bound to an access.api.super target through requireApiKeyPermission(), obtain the target's full privileges because key scopes are not enforced, and create persistent super-administrator access; the same missing check also permits rotating or disabling the target's two-factor authentication. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.6.
Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.4.1, a non-superadmin can use app/Http/Controllers/Assets/BulkAssetsController.php update() to submit company_id directly without Company::getIdForCurrentUser(), allowing assets to be moved across company boundaries and breaking multi-tenant isolation. This issue is fixed in version 8.4.1.
