CVE-2026-49870 1 Grokability 1 Snipe-it 2026-08-21 5.9 Medium
Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.6.1, POST /two-factor has no rate limiting, lockout, or attempt counter, allowing an attacker with valid credentials to submit unlimited TOTP guesses against the three accepted codes created by config/google2fa.php window=1. A successful guess creates a fully authenticated session. When two_factor_enabled is 1, POST /account/profile with two_factor_optin=0 can disable two-factor authentication without OTP reverification, while required mode 2 prevents that opt-out. An administrator can also use POST /api/v1/users/two_factor_reset to clear another user's secret. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.1.
CVE-2026-24301 1 Microsoft 2 Copilot, Copilot Web 2026-08-21 8.8 High
Improper neutralization of special elements used in a command ('command injection') in Microsoft Copilot allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
CVE-2026-74543 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: udp_tunnel: fix memory leak in udp_tunnel_nic_unregister() syzbot reported a memory leak [1] in the UDP tunnel NIC offload code. When device registration fails (e.g. in register_netdevice()), netdev core unwinds by sending a single NETDEV_UNREGISTER notification. If work was queued during NETDEV_REGISTER (utn->work_pending is set), udp_tunnel_nic_unregister() returns early: if (utn->work_pending) return; Because failed registrations do not enter netdev_wait_allrefs_any(), no subsequent NETDEV_UNREGISTER rebroadcast will ever occur. As a result, the struct udp_tunnel_nic allocated in udp_tunnel_nic_alloc() is leaked permanently. Fix this by removing the early return. Instead, synchronously cancel any pending work with cancel_delayed_work_sync() before freeing @utn. To be able to call cancel_delayed_work_sync() while holding RTNL (the work also needs RTNL), switch udp_tunnel_nic_device_sync_work() to rtnl_trylock(). If RTNL is contended, requeue the work with a 1 jiffy delay (via queue_delayed_work()) to prevent high CPU contention while waiting for RTNL lock. The utn->work_pending bookkeeping is no longer needed and is removed, as the workqueue core already tracks the pending/running state of the work. CVE-2026-74558 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: reclaim invalid Tx descriptors in ZC batch path The zero-copy Tx batch parser stops when it encounters an invalid descriptor. If this happens after one or more continuation descriptors, the Tx consumer can be advanced past fragments that are neither submitted to the driver nor returned to userspace through the completion ring. A similar problem occurs when a packet exceeds xdp_zc_max_segs. The descriptors consumed up to the limit are released without completion, and the remaining continuation descriptors can subsequently be interpreted as the beginning of another packet. Parse Tx batches in packet units and distinguish descriptors belonging to complete valid packets from descriptors consumed while draining an invalid or oversized packet. Return the former to the driver and append the latter to the CQ address area so userspace can reclaim their UMEM frames. Treat a standalone invalid descriptor as a one-descriptor reclaim-only packet. Advancing the Tx-ring consumer releases the ring slot, but does not by itself return ownership of the referenced UMEM frame to userspace. Once draining starts, continue until the packet's end-of-packet descriptor is consumed. Preserve the drain state on the socket when EOP has not yet been supplied, so draining can continue during a later call. Leave incomplete but otherwise valid packets on the Tx ring. Shared-UMEM pools using multi-buffer Tx also need packet-framed parsing. Walk their Tx sockets one packet at a time, preserving the existing per-socket fairness scheme, instead of using the legacy one-descriptor fallback. Keep that fallback for shared pools that do not use multi-buffer Tx. Since the drain state is maintained per socket and both the singular and shared paths can resume an interrupted drain, changing the socket list from singular to shared requires no special bind-time transition. CQ entries are positional, and drivers may complete only part of the Tx work returned by xsk_tx_peek_release_desc_batch(). Therefore, reclaim-only entries cannot be published immediately when earlier driver-visible descriptors are still outstanding. Track the number of driver-visible CQ entries preceding the reclaim entries. Let xsk_tx_completed() publish partial hardware Tx completions, and publish the reclaim entries only after every earlier Tx descriptor has completed. Complete a reclaim-only batch immediately when there is no driver-visible work in front of it, and prevent another Tx batch from being appended while reclaim entries remain pending. Also cap batch processing by the size of the pool's temporary descriptor array, as Tx rings belonging to sockets sharing a UMEM may have different sizes. This ensures that every invalid Tx descriptor consumed by the ZC batch path is either submitted to the driver as part of a valid packet or returned to userspace without violating CQ completion ordering.
CVE-2026-74559 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: drain continuation descs after overflow in xsk_build_skb() Fix generic xmit path multi-buffer logic when packets are either too big (count of descriptors exceed MAX_SKB_FRAGS) or an invalid descriptor is included in fragmented packet. Introduce xdp_sock::drain_cont and act upon this flag - when it is set, keep on consuming descriptors from AF_XDP Tx ring and put them directly onto Cq. Previously these descriptors were silently lost and could never be reached again.
CVE-2026-74039 1 Wazuh 1 Wazuh-manager 2026-08-21 6.5 Medium
Wazuh 4.0.0 before 4.14.7 and 5.0.0-beta2 contain a denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with allow_run_as enabled to exhaust CPU resources by submitting arbitrarily deeply nested JSON structures to the POST /security/user/authenticate/run_as endpoint. Attackers can repeatedly submit malformed auth_context bodies with unlimited nesting depth to cause the API framework to consume excessive CPU, denying service to all other API consumers.
CVE-2026-50142 1 Struktur 1 Libheif 2026-08-21 7.5 High
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. From 1.19.0 until 1.23.0, a crafted HEIF sequence accepted by heif_context_read_from_memory() with the msf1 sequence brand can cause unbounded heap allocation. In libheif/sequences/seq_boxes.cc, Box_stsz::parse() applies max_sequence_frames only to variable-size samples, so fixed-size mode accepts an attacker-controlled sample_count without a bound. In libheif/sequences/track.cc, Track::load() also adds current_sample_idx and samples_per_chunk in 32-bit arithmetic, allowing the consistency check to be bypassed by wraparound. The resulting values reach the Chunk::Chunk() allocation path, which can consume gigabytes of memory and crash or stall the process through memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.0.
CVE-2026-76230 1 Renovatebot 1 Renovate 2026-08-21 6.7 Medium
Renovate versions from 35.63.0 before 40.33.0 contain a command injection vulnerability in the npm manager where user-provided packageName values are appended to npm install commands without proper sanitization. Attackers with repository write access can craft malicious Renovate configuration files to execute arbitrary commands on the machine running Renovate.
CVE-2026-74836 1 Mtrudel 1 Bandit 2026-08-21 N/A
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to pin an unbounded number of HTTP/2 stream processes indefinitely via connection-level flow control. When a stream's response body outruns the HTTP/2 connection-level send window (default 65,535 bytes, shared across all streams on the connection), Bandit.HTTP2.Connection queues the remaining bytes and a reply closure in pending_sends and the stream process blocks forever inside a synchronous call to the connection process. Nothing bounds that wait and nothing purges the queue: a client RST_STREAM for the blocked stream is delivered to its mailbox but never read while it is stuck inside the call, so cancelling frees nothing, and periodic PING frames keep the transport-level read timeout from ever firing. The equivalent block on the stream-level send window is already bounded at 15 seconds; the connection-level path had no such bound. Each stalled stream pins its process, Plug state, and any resource the Plug holds across the blocked write, such as a pooled upstream connection in a reverse-proxy Plug. The attacker chooses any endpoint whose response exceeds the connection window (common for most non-trivial payloads), grants a generous stream-level window so only the connection window limits it, and keeps the connection alive with periodic PINGs; the primitive is repeatable across streams and connections at the cost of one idle socket each. This issue affects bandit: from 0.3.4 before 1.12.5.
CVE-2026-74542 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix folio_queue ENOMEM in writeback by adding a mempool Fix the handling of folio_queue allocation failure in writeback by adding a mempool and passing in gfp_t flags to the rolling buffer functions that allocate memory, using the mempool if gfp != GFP_KERNEL. This is then extended upwards and the gfp to be used for a request is stored in the netfs_io_request struct and is then used for both requests and subrequests, eliminating the sleeping loops there. The failure caused: folio != NULL WARNING: fs/netfs/write_issue.c:603 at netfs_writepages+0x883/0xa10 fs/netfs/write_issue.c:603, CPU#3: syz.0.17/5919
CVE-2026-74560 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: fix buffer leak in xsk_drop_skb() for AF_XDP multi-buffer Tx This patch is inspired by the check[1] from sashiko. It says when overflow happens, the address of cq to be published is invalid. Actually the severer thing is the whole process of publishing the address of cq in this particular case is not right: it should truely publish the address and advance the cached_prod in cq as long as it reads descriptors from txq. The following is the full analysis. xsk_drop_skb() is called in three places, which all discard a partially built multi-buffer skb: 1) xsk_build_skb() -EOVERFLOW error path: packet exceeds MAX_SKB_FRAGS 2) __xsk_generic_xmit() post-loop cleanup: an invalid descriptor in the TX ring prevents the partial packet from completing 3) xsk_release(): socket close while xs->skb holds an incomplete packet In all three cases, the TX descriptors for the already-processed frags have been consumed from the TX ring (xskq_cons_release), and CQ slots have been reserved. However, xsk_drop_skb() calls xsk_consume_skb() which cancels the CQ reservations via xsk_cq_cancel_locked(). Since the buffer addresses never appear in the completion queue, userspace permanently loses track of these buffers. Fix this by letting consume_skb() trigger the existing xsk_destruct_skb destructor, which already submits buffer addresses to the CQ via xsk_cq_submit_addr_locked(). Note that cancelling the descriptors back to the TX ring (via xskq_cons_cancel_n) is not a appropriate option because an oversized packet that always exceeds MAX_SKB_FRAGS would be retried indefinitely, which is an obviously deadlock bug in the TX path. Also move the desc->addr assignment in xsk_build_skb() above the overflow check so that the current descriptor's address is recorded before a potential -EOVERFLOW jump to free_err, consistent with the zerocopy path in xsk_build_skb_zerocopy(). CVE-2026-55241 1 Bluewave-labs 1 Checkmate 2026-08-21 7.5 High
Checkmate is an open-source, self-hosted tool designed to track and monitor server hardware, uptime, response times, and incidents in real-time with beautiful visualizations. Prior to 3.9.1, the public POST /api/v1/auth/register route in server/src/api/routes/authRoutes.ts passes multipart profileImage uploads through in-memory Multer parsing before registration validation, without file-size, file-count, or MIME-type limits in server/src/api/middleware/upload.ts. An unauthenticated attacker can submit concurrent oversized files that are buffered before invalid registration or invite-token checks reject the request, exhausting memory and crashing or destabilizing the backend. This issue is fixed in version 3.9.1.
CVE-2026-75956 1 Cmsjunkie.com 1 J-businessdirectory Extension For Joomla 2026-08-21 N/A
Joomla Extension - cmsjunkie.com - DOS vector in pagination parameter handling in J-BusinessDirectory < 6.2.3 - Pagination values were not strictly typed. Array/non-numeric values (for example limitstart[]) could trigger PHP type errors in arithmetic, and limit was not validated before use in list queries.
CVE-2026-76328 1 Splunk 2 Splunk, Splunk Enterprise 2026-08-21 6.7 Medium
In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.1, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user who holds the "power" Splunk role could store attacker-controlled Search Processing Language (SPL) in a dashboard. When another authenticated user exports the dashboard as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file, Splunk Enterprise runs the injected SPL using the permissions of that user. The injected SPL could access or modify data available to that user. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk Web does not sufficiently validate dashboard content before processing PDF exports. The vulnerability requires the attacker to phish the affected user by tricking them into initiating a request within their browser. The user who holds the "power" Splunk role should not be able to exploit the vulnerability at will. For more information see Generate PDFs of your reports and dashboards (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/create-dashboards-and-reports/reporting-manual/9.4/report-management/generate-pdfs-of-your-reports-and-dashboards) in the Splunk documentation.
CVE-2026-76339 1 Splunk 2 Splunk, Splunk Enterprise 2026-08-21 5.4 Medium
In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could inject arbitrary Search Processing Language (SPL) commands through the geostats command. The injected SPL runs with the permissions of another authenticated user after that user initiates the attacker-controlled geostats search in Splunk Web. The injected SPL could expose all relevant data available to the second user, including stored credentials, and modify lookup files that the second user has permission to change. The vulnerability is possible because the geostats command does not sufficiently validate input before Splunk Enterprise processes it. The vulnerability requires the attacker to phish the affected user by tricking them into initiating a request within their browser. The user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles should not be able to exploit the vulnerability at will. For more information see geostats (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/spl-search-reference/10.0/search-commands/geostats) in the Splunk documentation.
CVE-2026-61712 1 Moby 1 Buildkit 2026-08-21 N/A
BuildKit is a toolkit for converting source code to build artifacts in an efficient, expressive and repeatable manner. Prior to 0.31.1, BuildKit read attacker-controlled /etc/passwd and /etc/group files without an upper bound while resolving a username to a user identifier or group identifier in executor/oci/user.go and solver/llbsolver/ops/user_linux.go. A malicious base image or build could provide oversized files that exhausted memory during user resolution and caused out-of-memory termination of the buildkitd process. This issue is fixed in version 0.31.1.
CVE-2026-59323 1 Vmware 1 Spring 2026-08-21 5.3 Medium
An application using Micrometer Tracing with W3C baggage propagation in the Brave bridge is vulnerable to denial of service (DoS) due to unbounded object allocation when extracting incoming baggage headers. Specifically, an application is vulnerable when all the following are true: * The application uses a vulnerable version of io.micrometer:micrometer-tracing-bridge-brave. * W3C propagation is active (either configured manually or active by default, such as in Spring Boot 3.x+). * Baggage propagation is enabled (which is the default in Spring Boot 3.x+) and a baggage manager (such as BraveBaggageManager) is configured to handle baggage fields. * The application processes requests or messages from untrusted sources with baggage headers which it normally should not, see:  https://www.w3.org/TR/trace-context/#security-considerations . * Network components including the (HTTP) server that receives the request do not limit the header size or the limit is high enough to cause issues. The last two points are very important: normally this should not affect applications because they should not receive untrusted and unlimited input for baggage. * The application processes requests or messages from untrusted sources with baggage headers. When extracting baggage from the W3C baggage header, incoming entries are parsed without enforcing limits on the number of entries or header size as mandated by the W3C Baggage specification. An attacker can send requests or messages with artificially inflated baggage headers containing many key-value pairs, causing unconditional BaggageField allocations per entry. This leads to garbage collection pressure, high CPU usage, and potential application crash via OutOfMemoryError.
CVE-2026-61400 1 Apache 1 Cloudstack 2026-08-21 8.8 High
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability in Apache CloudStack's run and get diagnostics functionality for the system VMs and virtual routers. An authenticated user holding the permissions required to invoke either `getDiagnosticsData` or `runDiagnostics` can achieve arbitrary command execution on the system VM and/or Virtual Router instances, with commands running as root (or as the diagnostics-process user, at minimum). This represents a full compromise of the affected instance and, depending on network segmentation, may provide a foothold for lateral movement within the CloudStack-managed infrastructure, including access to guest network traffic handled by the compromised Virtual Router. The getDiagnosticsData and runDiagnostics APIs are restricted to only Admin role accounts by default. This issue affects Apache CloudStack: from 4.20.0.0 through 4.20.3.0 and from 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.3.1 or 4.22.1.1 or later, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-47827 1 Cloudfoundry 1 Bosh Cli 2026-08-21 7.5 High
Command Injection in BOSH CLI tool on windows in Cloud Foundry allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands via command injection vulnerabilities
CVE-2026-17170 1 Ibm 2 Aix, Powervm Vios 2026-08-21 7.5 High
IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to improper validation of an allocation size.
