CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: adc: ad7923: Fix buffer overflow for tx_buf and ring_xfer
The AD7923 was updated to support devices with 8 channels, but the size
of tx_buf and ring_xfer was not increased accordingly, leading to a
potential buffer overflow in ad7923_update_scan_mode(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe/oa: Fix overflow in oa batch buffer
By default xe_bb_create_job() appends a MI_BATCH_BUFFER_END to batch
buffer, this is not a problem if batch buffer is only used once but
oa reuses the batch buffer for the same metric and at each call
it appends a MI_BATCH_BUFFER_END, printing the warning below and then
overflowing.
[ 381.072016] ------------[ cut here ]------------
[ 381.072019] xe 0000:00:02.0: [drm] Assertion `bb->len * 4 + bb_prefetch(q->gt) <= size` failed!

So here checking if batch buffer already have MI_BATCH_BUFFER_END if
not append it.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: dsa: mv88e6xxx: Fix out-of-bound access
If an ATU violation was caused by a CPU Load operation, the SPID could
be larger than DSA_MAX_PORTS (the size of mv88e6xxx_chip.ports[] array). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gve: Account for stopped queues when reading NIC stats
We now account for the fact that the NIC might send us stats for a
subset of queues. Without this change, gve_get_ethtool_stats might make
an invalid access on the priv->stats_report->stats array. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tun: add missing verification for short frame
The cited commit missed to check against the validity of the frame length
in the tun_xdp_one() path, which could cause a corrupted skb to be sent
downstack. Even before the skb is transmitted, the
tun_xdp_one-->eth_type_trans() may access the Ethernet header although it
can be less than ETH_HLEN. Once transmitted, this could either cause
out-of-bound access beyond the actual length, or confuse the underlayer
with incorrect or inconsistent header length in the skb metadata.
In the alternative path, tun_get_user() already prohibits short frame which
has the length less than Ethernet header size from being transmitted for
IFF_TAP.
This is to drop any frame shorter than the Ethernet header size just like
how tun_get_user() does.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tap: add missing verification for short frame
The cited commit missed to check against the validity of the frame length
in the tap_get_user_xdp() path, which could cause a corrupted skb to be
sent downstack. Even before the skb is transmitted, the
tap_get_user_xdp()-->skb_set_network_header() may assume the size is more
than ETH_HLEN. Once transmitted, this could either cause out-of-bound
access beyond the actual length, or confuse the underlayer with incorrect
or inconsistent header length in the skb metadata.
In the alternative path, tap_get_user() already prohibits short frame which
has the length less than Ethernet header size from being transmitted.
This is to drop any frame shorter than the Ethernet header size just like
how tap_get_user() does.

RIP: 0033:0x7f917c4e2c2d
The problem here is that a range of tnum_range(0, map->max_entries - 1) has
limited ability to represent the concrete tight range with the tnum as the
set of resulting states from value + mask can result in a superset of the
actual intended range, and as such a tnum_in(range, reg->var_off) check may
yield true when it shouldn't, for example tnum_range(0, 2) would result in
00XX -> v = 0000, m = 0011 such that the intended set of {0, 1, 2} is here
represented by a less precise superset of {0, 1, 2, 3}. As the register is
known const scalar, really just use the concrete reg->var_off.value for the
upper index check. |

cifs: potential buffer overflow in handling symlinks
Smatch printed a warning:
arch/x86/crypto/poly1305_glue.c:198 poly1305_update_arch() error:
__memcpy() 'dctx->buf' too small (16 vs u32max)
It's caused because Smatch marks 'link_len' as untrusted since it comes
from sscanf(). Add a check to ensure that 'link_len' is not larger than
the size of the 'link_str' buffer. |
| A stack overflow was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in Safari 26.5.2, iOS 26.5.2 and iPadOS 26.5.2, macOS Tahoe 26.5.2, tvOS 26.6, visionOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to an unexpected Safari crash. |
| Inappropriate implementation in XML in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Out of bounds read in ANGLE in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.46 allowed a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| mrubyc through release3.4.1 was found to contain an out-of-bounds read in builtin missing-method lookup inside mrbc_find_method(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: xpad - fix out-of-bounds access for Share button
xpadone_process_packet() receives len directly from urb->actual_length
and uses it to index the share-button byte at data[len - 18] or
data[len - 26]. Since both len and data[0] are under the device's
control, a broken controller can send a GIP_CMD_INPUT packet with
actual_length < 18 (e.g. 5 bytes) and reach this code path, causing
accesses beyond the actual array.
Fix this by calculating the offset and checking bounds against the
packet length. |
| Out of bounds read and write in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.128 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| There is a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in some Hikvision cameras, which may allow unauthenticated attackers to cause device malfunction by sending specially crafted packets. |
| There is a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in some Hikvision cameras, which may allow authenticated attackers to cause device malfunction by sending specially crafted packets. |
| Buffer over-read in SQL Server allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| XML::Sig versions before 0.71 for Perl allow XPath injection in ID lookup.
verify() and _get_signed_xml() in lib/XML/Sig.pm build XPath expressions by concatenating the SignedInfo/Reference/@URI value read from the document being verified. The value is neither escaped nor checked against the NCName grammar that XML requires of an ID, so a URI containing a single quote closes the string literal in the generated expression and appends arbitrary XPath operators.
A crafted URI can make the lookup match elements the reference does not name, or every element in the document, so which node is selected for digest verification is decided by the injected expression rather than by the reference. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: synaptics-rmi4 - bound the F3A keymap to the GPIO count
rmi_f3a_initialize() takes the GPIO count from the device query register
(f3a->gpio_count = buf & RMI_F3A_GPIO_COUNT, range 0..127).
rmi_f3a_map_gpios() then allocates gpio_key_map with
min(gpio_count, TRACKSTICK_RANGE_END) == at most 6 entries, but
rmi_f3a_attention() iterates the full gpio_count and dereferences
gpio_key_map[i], and input->keycodemax is set to the full gpio_count
while input->keycode points at the 6-entry allocation.
A device that reports gpio_count > 6 therefore causes an out-of-bounds
read of gpio_key_map[] on every attention interrupt, and out-of-bounds
accesses through the input core's default keymap ioctls: EVIOCGKEYCODE
reads past the buffer (leaking adjacent slab memory to user space) and
EVIOCSKEYCODE writes a caller-controlled value past it, for any process
able to open the evdev node, since input_default_getkeycode() and
input_default_setkeycode() only bound the index against keycodemax.
Size the keymap for the full gpio_count. The mapping loop is unchanged:
it still assigns only the first min(gpio_count, TRACKSTICK_RANGE_END)
entries; the remaining slots stay KEY_RESERVED (devm_kcalloc zero-fills)
and are skipped when reporting. |
