CVSS v3.1 |
| In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.85, RSA PKCS#1 verification skips last two hash bytes in NULL-omitted path. This issue also affects Bouncy Castle for Java LTS before 2.73.12. |
| dd-trace-rs provides Datadog application performance monitoring for Rust. From 0.1.0 until 0.3.3, datadog-opentelemetry/src/propagation/tracecontext.rs parses the W3C tracestate header and collects every semicolon-separated key and value pair in the Datadog dd=... vendor entry into a HashMap without enforcing a pair count or entry size limit. Because tracecontext extraction is enabled by default, a remote unauthenticated attacker can send an arbitrarily large dd=... entry and force excessive CPU and memory consumption for each request, causing denial of service in an instrumented network service. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.3.3. |
| A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability WatchGuard Dimension Remote Backup Connection Test configuration allows an authenticated privileged attacker to enumerate exposed network services on adjacent network systems. |
| A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in WatchGuard Dimension's report detail page allows an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript in a authenticated user's browser with a specially crafted URL. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/zcrypt: Pad trailing CCA or EP11 message with zeros
The both functions xcrb_msg_to_type6cprb_msgx() and
xcrb_msg_to_type6_ep11cprb_msgx() copy the user space message into a
kernel buffer based on the message length. But on further processing
the message is supposed to be 4 byte length adjusted. Thus up to 3
bytes of uninitialized kernel memory are forwarded to further
processing steps and may unwanted expose kernel memory to the crypto
card firmware.
This patch contains code to pad the gap between user space copied
message and message buffer length sent down to further processing of
the CCA or EP11 message to zeros. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/zcrypt: Improve EP11 CPRB domain handling with ASN.1 parsing
The zcrypt_msgtype6_send_ep11_cprb() function uses fragile struct
overlays to access and modify the domain field in the EP11 CPRB
payload, creating maintainability and security concerns:
1. Struct overlay approach (pld_hdr) assumes fixed payload structure
and doesn't validate the actual ASN.1 encoding.
2. Complex length format detection logic is error-prone and doesn't
properly validate bounds at each parsing step.
3. Direct struct member access bypasses proper ASN.1 validation.
Fix by replacing struct overlays with explicit ASN.1 parsing that
validates each field (payload tag/length, function tag/length/value,
optional domain tag/length/value) with proper bounds checking at every
step. Add asn1_int_encode() helper function to safely write integer
values with correct endianness conversion. This makes the code
consistent with the validation pattern introduced with the rework of
the xcrb_msg_to_type6_ep11cprb_msgx() function. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/vfio_ccw: Selectively expand io_mutex
The io_mutex was defined to serialize the io_regions, but then has
also sort of been associated with the I/O themselves because of
the close relationship they share.
With the handful of races that are possible, the choices are either to:
A) expand the scope of io_mutex to close these remaining windows, or
B) reduce the scope of io_mutex to just io_region, and introduce a new
lock mechanism for the remaining I/O resources
This patch implements A, since B brings with it a lot more interactions
that would need to be tracked and kept in a correct hierarchy. It also
takes advantage of the workqueue element for cp_free() that now gets
called out of fsm_notoper(), which could be invoked out of an interrupt
context and thus cannot acquire a mutex itself. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/vfio_ccw: Move cp cleanup out of not operational
The fsm_notoper() routine is called when the device has been
lost, and is (by definition) no longer operational. Since this
can happen asynchronously from the normal behavior of the
driver, the cleanup may happen when holding other locks
in the calling sequence (notably, the cio subchannel lock).
Push the cleanup of the private->cp resources to a workqueue,
where it can be done out from under that lock sequence and
a future patch can safely manage the locking requirements. |
| A heap overflow in the ff_sws_alphablendaway function (libswscale/alphablend.c) of FFmpeg git-master commit 722a217 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input. |
| Several components in Spring Security compare security-sensitive values using standard string equality (String.equals()) rather than a constant-time comparison. Because String.equals() returns as soon as it finds a differing character, the time taken to reject an incorrect value is proportional to the number of leading characters that match the expected value.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: ims-pcu - fix potential infinite loop in CDC union descriptor parsing
The driver parses CDC union descriptors in ims_pcu_get_cdc_union_desc()
by iterating through the extra descriptor data. However, it does not
verify that the bLength of each descriptor is at least 2. A malicious
device could provide a descriptor with bLength = 0, leading to an
infinite loop in the driver.
Add a check to ensure bLength is at least 2 before proceeding with
parsing. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing/probes: Remove WARN_ON_ONCE from parse_btf_arg
Sashiko found that user can cause this WARN_ON_ONCE() easily
with adding a kprobe event based on a raw address with BTF
parameter.
Since this is not an unexpected condition, remove the
WARN_ON_ONCE(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: conntrack: revert ct extension genid infrastructure
This infrastructure is not used anymore after moving ct timeout and
helper to use datapath refcount to track object use.
Revert commit c56716c69ce1 ("netfilter: extensions: introduce extension
genid count") this patch disables all ct extensions (leading to NULL)
for unconfirmed conntracks, when this is only targeted at ct helper and
ct timeout. There is also codebase that dereferences the ct extension
without checking for NULL which could lead to crash. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: wlcore: enable the right set of ciphers
The firmware version number check for IGTK introduced in
commit c34dbc5900b0 ("wifi: wlcore: Add support for IGTK key")
lets the amount of ciphers decrease on every boot of a too old firmware and
that is practically happening. It also does not take into account other
chips than the wl18xx. On some wl128x, the following can be observed
when connecting via nm to a common ap:
[ 484.113311] wlcore: WARNING could not set keys
[ 484.117828] wlcore: ERROR Could not add or replace key

Always disable IGTK on wl12xx and fix the decrementing mess. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/rockchip: dw_dp: Fix null-ptr-deref in dw_dp_remove()
Attempting to access driver data in the platform driver ->remove()
callback may lead to a null pointer dereference since there is no
guaranty that the component ->bind() callback invoking
platform_set_drvdata() was executed.
A common scenario is when Rockchip DRM driver didn't manage to run
component_bind_all() because of an (unrelated) error causing early
return from rockchip_drm_bind().
Drop the unnecessary call to platform_get_drvdata() and, instead,
reference the target device structure via platform_device. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/mlx5: LAG, MPESW, Fix missing complete() on devcom error
mlx5_mpesw_work() returned without calling complete() when
mlx5_lag_get_devcom_comp() returned NULL. A caller that queued the
work and waited on mpesww->comp would block indefinitely.
Funnel the early-return path through a new "complete" label so the
waiter is always woken. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
igc: remove napi_synchronize() in igc_down()
When an AF_XDP zero-copy application is killed abruptly, the XSK pool is
torn down but NAPI keeps polling. igc_clean_rx_irq_zc() then returns the
full budget on every poll, so napi_complete_done() never clears
NAPI_STATE_SCHED.
igc_down() calls napi_synchronize() before napi_disable(), so it spins
forever waiting for that bit and the interface never goes down. Drop the
napi_synchronize() and let napi_disable() do the job -- it sets
NAPI_STATE_DISABLE, which forces the stuck poll to complete. Reorder it
ahead of igc_set_queue_napi() so the NAPI mapping is cleared only after
polling has stopped, matching the recent igb fix b1e067240379. |
| Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability in WPDeveloper Essential Addons for Elementor allows Identity Spoofing.
This issue affects Essential Addons for Elementor: from n/a through 6.8.0. |
| WatchGuard Dimension provides a client-side lock/unlock UI control for management changes. The server-side configuration endpoint does not enforce this lock/unlock workflow state, allowing an authenticated administrator to submit configuration changes directly to the endpoint without first completing the UI unlock step. This allows an authenticated read-write administrator session to bypass the intended editing workflow and overwrite configuration changes being made by another concurrent administrator session. |
