CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability in dynamic access policies (DAP) functionality of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
This vulnerability is due to improper processing of HostScan data received from the Posture (HostScan) module. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HostScan data to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.

This advisory is part of the November 2022 release of the Cisco ASA, FTD, and FMC Security Advisory Bundled publication. |
| The Windows installer deployed Npcap leaving its access restriction option at the insecure default value, so the driver was accessible to every local user of the host instead of being restricted to administrators only. A local user without administrative privileges could use the Npcap driver to capture the traffic reaching the host, which discloses information belonging both to the host and to other systems on the same network segment, and to send arbitrary raw packets on that segment. |
| A flaw was found in rsync which could be triggered when rsync compares file checksums. This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the checksum length (s2length) to cause a comparison between a checksum and uninitialized memory and leak one byte of uninitialized stack data at a time. |
| An Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers ('HTTP Response Splitting') vulnerability [CWE-113] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiOS 7.4 all versions, FortiOS 7.2 all versions, FortiProxy 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiProxy 7.4 all versions, FortiProxy 7.2 all versions may allow an attacker able to intercept and modify a user's captive portal authentication request to inject arbitrary headers via crafted HTTP requests. |
| An Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers ('HTTP Response Splitting') vulnerability [CWE-113] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiOS 7.4 all versions, FortiOS 7.2 all versions, FortiProxy 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiProxy 7.4 all versions, FortiProxy 7.2 all versions may allow an attacker in possession of a valid web filter override token to inject arbitrary headers via tricking a user into clicking on a crafted link. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in MZ Automation libiec61850 up to 1.6.1. This affects the function SVReceiver_stopThreadless of the file src/sampled_values/sv_subscriber.c of the component ASDU Element Handler. Performing a manipulation results in heap-based buffer overflow. The attack must be initiated from a local position. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 1.6.2 is able to mitigate this issue. The patch is named a96bd674e0238276dd1387d31d52e55229d0771e. The affected component should be upgraded. |
| A CRLF injection vulnerability exists in the OAuth2 AuthorizationUtils class. When constructing the WWW-Authenticate response header, the 'realm' parameter is concatenated without sanitizing Carriage Return (CR) and Line Feed (LF) characters. If an attacker can control the realm value, they can inject arbitrary HTTP headers or split the HTTP response entirely. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.2 or 4.1.7 or 3.6.12, which fixes this issue. |
| Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.7, 40.9.0, 41.2.0, and 42.0.0-beta.1, the mode option of webContents.openDevTools() was not sanitized before use by the DevTools frontend. If an attacker can influence this value, script under their control may run in the DevTools context, which in unsandboxed configurations has access to Node.js, including when untrusted input reaches the mode argument of openDevTools() or untrusted content calls openDevTools() on a webview it embeds. This issue is fixed in 39.8.7, 40.9.0, 41.2.0, and 42.0.0-beta.1. |
| FreeRDP before 3.29.0 (affected versions <= 3.28.0) does not validate CRLF and control characters in the server-controlled RDP redirection TargetNetAddress field. This value is copied into the client's ServerHostname and, when the client connects through an HTTP proxy, is written directly into the proxy CONNECT request line and Host header by http_proxy_connect() without filtering. A malicious or compromised RDP server can send a crafted redirection PDU containing embedded control characters to inject arbitrary headers/requests into the HTTP proxy CONNECT request. |
| Sharp and Toshiba Tec MFPs (multifunction printers) for a certain market have been shipped with the user authentication feature disabled in the initial configuration. When used with the initial configuration, the address book editing and a range of features related to Document Filing can be accessed without user authentication.
Products intended for the Japanese market are not affected. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. An attacker may be able to cause unexpected system termination or corrupt kernel memory. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination or read kernel memory. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. A remote user may be able to cause unexpected system termination or corrupt kernel memory. |

| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. Connecting to a malicious SMB server may lead to unexpected system termination. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. A malicious app may be able to corrupt memory of a system process. |
| Deployment of the VPS.org one-click Zulip template deploys a hardcoded application signing key, a default database password ("zulip"), and DISABLE_HTTPS=True. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. A remote user may be able to cause unexpected system termination or corrupt kernel memory. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe: reset mmio mappings with devm
Set our various mmio mappings to NULL. This should make it easier to
catch something rogue trying to mess with mmio after device removal. For
example, we might unmap everything and then start hitting some mmio
address which has already been unmamped by us and then remapped by
something else, causing all kinds of carnage. |
| Action Pack is a framework for handling and responding to web requests. In versions prior to 7.2.3.2, 8.0.5.1 and 8.1.3.1, Active Storage does not disable libvips operations marked unsafe for untrusted content, allowing a crafted upload to invoke such an operation. Consuming applications are affected when configured to use libvips and accept image uploads from untrusted users. An unauthenticated attacker may exploit this behavior to read arbitrary files accessible to the Rails process, including environment variables and application secrets. Exposure of credentials such as secret_key_base or external-service tokens may enable remote code execution or lateral movement. This issue has been fixed in versions 7.2.3.2, 8.0.5.1 and 8.1.3.1. |
