CVSS v3.1 |
| Because O+ Connect's IPC service does not authenticate clients, external applications can escalate privileges and perform sensitive actions through the IPC channel. |
| sigqueue(2) was marked as permitted in capability mode with the introduction of Capsicum in 2011, but the implementation of kern_sigqueue did not include a capability mode check restricting signal delivery to the calling process's own PID.
A process in capability mode can use sigqueue(2) to send signals to any process it could signal following standard Unix permissions, bypassing the Capsicum sandbox restriction. A compromised sandboxed process could interfere with other processes, for example by sending SIGKILL or SIGSTOP. This could be any process running as the same user, or any process, for a superuser sandboxed process. |
| The Linuxulator determined whether a binary was set-user-ID or set-group-ID by checking the P_SUGID process flag. During execve(2), this flag is not yet set at the point where the auxiliary vector is constructed, so AT_SECURE was incorrectly set to zero for set-user-ID and set-group-ID executables.
An unprivileged local user can inject a shared library via LD_PRELOAD into a set-user-ID or set-group-ID Linux binary, gaining the privileges of that binary. |
| A vulnerability was determined in VoltAgent up to 2.1.17. Affected by this issue is the function handleGetMemoryConversation of the file packages/server-core/src/handlers/memory.handlers.ts of the component Memory REST API. Executing a manipulation of the argument conversationId can lead to improper authorization. The attack may be performed from remote. This attack is characterized by high complexity. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: arm64: nv: Fix handling of XN[0] when !FEAT_XNX
XN has already been extracted from its bitfield position so using
FIELD_PREP() on the mask that clears XN[0] is completely broken, having
the effect of unconditionally granting execute permissions...
Fix the obvious mistake by manipulating the right bit. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ppp: require CAP_NET_ADMIN in target netns for unattached ioctls
/dev/ppp open is currently authorized against file->f_cred->user_ns,
while unattached administrative ioctls operate on current->nsproxy->net_ns.
As a result, a local unprivileged user can create a new user namespace
with CLONE_NEWUSER, gain CAP_NET_ADMIN only in that new user namespace,
and still issue PPPIOCNEWUNIT, PPPIOCATTACH, or PPPIOCATTCHAN against
an inherited network namespace.
Require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the user namespace that owns the target network
namespace before handling unattached PPP administrative ioctls.
This preserves normal pppd operation in the network namespace it is
actually privileged in, while rejecting the userns-only inherited-netns
case. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fuse: reject fuse_notify() pagecache ops on directories
The operations FUSE_NOTIFY_STORE and FUSE_NOTIFY_RETRIEVE allow the
FUSE daemon to actively write/read pagecache contents.
For directories with FOPEN_CACHE_DIR, the pagecache is used as
kernel-internal cache storage, and userspace is not supposed to have
direct access to this cache - in particular, fuse_parse_cache() will hit
WARN_ON() if the cache contains bogus data.
Reject FUSE_NOTIFY_STORE and FUSE_NOTIFY_RETRIEVE on anything other than
regular files with -EINVAL. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix FSCTL permission bypass by adding a permission check for FSCTL_SET_SPARSE
FSCTL_SET_SPARSE in fsctl_set_sparse() modifies the file's sparse
attribute and saves it through xattr without any permission checks.
This exposes two issues:
1) A client on a read-only share can change the sparse attribute
on files it opened, even though the share is read-only.
Other FSCTL write operations already check
test_tree_conn_flag(work->tcon, KSMBD_TREE_CONN_FLAG_WRITABLE),
but FSCTL_SET_SPARSE does not.
2) Even on writable shares, clients without FILE_WRITE_DATA or
FILE_WRITE_ATTRIBUTES access should not modify the sparse
attribute. Similar handle-level checks exist in other functions
but are missing here.
Add both share-level writable check and per-handle access check.
Use goto out on error to avoid leaking file references. |
| Fortra File Integrity Monitoring (FIM), formerly Tripwire Enterprise, versions prior to 9.4.0 may assign incorrect or elevated effective permissions to users created by the tetool import command while FIM is running, particularly when the import also creates or changes roles or role-permission relationships. |
| A vulnerability was determined in BerriAI litellm up to 1.63.1. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file litellm/proxy/management_endpoints/key_management_endpoints.py of the component Admin Key Handler. This manipulation causes improper authorization. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. Patch name: 23781. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in BerriAI litellm up to 1.82.2. Affected by this issue is the function ui_view_users of the file litellm/proxy/management_endpoints/internal_user_endpoints.py of the component Incomplete Fix CVE-2025-0628. Such manipulation leads to improper authorization. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
| A vulnerability was identified in BerriAI litellm up to 1.82.2. This affects an unknown function of the file litellm/proxy/auth/user_api_key_auth.py of the component M2M JWT Handler. Such manipulation leads to improper authorization. The attack can be launched remotely. A high complexity level is associated with this attack. The exploitability is reported as difficult. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
| Moby is an open source container framework. Prior to version 29.3.1, a security vulnerability has been detected that allows plugins privilege validation to be bypassed during docker plugin install. Due to an error in the daemon's privilege comparison logic, the daemon may incorrectly accept a privilege set that differs from the one approved by the user. Plugins that request exactly one privilege are also affected, because no comparison is performed at all. This issue has been patched in version 29.3.1. |
| A missing permission check in Jenkins 2.567 and earlier, LTS 2.555.2 and earlier allows attackers with Item/Cancel permission, but lacking Item/Read permission, to cancel queue items they do not have permission to view. |
| Improper authorization in .NET allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Inappropriate implementation in UI in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 149.0.7827.53 allowed a local attacker to perform privilege escalation via a malicious file. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: x86: check for nEPT/nNPT in slow flush hypercalls
Checking is_guest_mode(vcpu) is incorrect, because translate_nested_gpa()
is only valid if an L2 guest is running *with nested EPT/NPT enabled*.
Instead use the same condition as translate_nested_gpa() itself. |
| bubblewrap is a low-level unprivileged sandboxing tool. From version 0.11.0 to before version 0.11.2, if bubblewrap is installed in setuid mode then the user can use ptrace to attach to bubblewrap and control the unprivileged part of the sandbox setup phase. This allows the attacker to arbitrarily use the privileged operations, and in particular the "overlay mount" operation, allowing the creation of overlay mounts which is otherwise not allowed in the setuid version of bubblewrap. This issue has been patched in version 0.11.2. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Dotouch XproUPF 2.0.0-release-088aa7c4. Affected is an unknown function of the component UPF. This manipulation causes improper access controls. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
