CVSS v3.1 |
| Kargo manages and automates the promotion of software artifacts. Prior to versions 1.7.10, 1.8.13, 1.9.8, and 1.10.2, Kargo is vulnerable to open redirect in UI OIDC login flow via the redirectTo query parameter. This issue has been patched in versions 1.7.10, 1.8.13, 1.9.8, and 1.10.2. |

iio: light: opt3001: fix deadlock due to concurrent flag access
The threaded IRQ function in this driver is reading the flag twice: once to
lock a mutex and once to unlock it. Even though the code setting the flag
is designed to prevent it, there are subtle cases where the flag could be
true at the mutex_lock stage and false at the mutex_unlock stage. This
results in the mutex not being unlocked, resulting in a deadlock.
Fix it by making the opt3001_irq() code generally more robust, reading the
flag into a variable and using the variable value at both stages. |

fs: relax assertions on failure to encode file handles
Encoding file handles is usually performed by a filesystem >encode_fh()
method that may fail for various reasons.
The legacy users of exportfs_encode_fh(), namely, nfsd and
name_to_handle_at(2) syscall are ready to cope with the possibility
of failure to encode a file handle.
There are a few other users of exportfs_encode_{fh,fid}() that
currently have a WARN_ON() assertion when ->encode_fh() fails.
Relax those assertions because they are wrong.
The second linked bug report states commit 16aac5ad1fa9 ("ovl: support
encoding non-decodable file handles") in v6.6 as the regressing commit,
but this is not accurate.
The aforementioned commit only increases the chances of the assertion
and allows triggering the assertion with the reproducer using overlayfs,
inotify and drop_caches.
Triggering this assertion was always possible with other filesystems and
other reasons of ->encode_fh() failures and more particularly, it was
also possible with the exact same reproducer using overlayfs that is
mounted with options index=on,nfs_export=on also on kernels < v6.6.
Therefore, I am not listing the aforementioned commit as a Fixes commit.
Backport hint: this patch will have a trivial conflict applying to
v6.6.y, and other trivial conflicts applying to stable kernels < v6.6. |

PCI: endpoint: Fix swapped parameters in pci_{primary/secondary}_epc_epf_unlink() functions
struct configfs_item_operations callbacks are defined like the following:
int (*allow_link)(struct config_item *src, struct config_item *target);
void (*drop_link)(struct config_item *src, struct config_item *target);
While pci_primary_epc_epf_link() and pci_secondary_epc_epf_link() specify
the parameters in the correct order, pci_primary_epc_epf_unlink() and
pci_secondary_epc_epf_unlink() specify the parameters in the wrong order,
leading to the below kernel crash when using the unlink command in

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
PCI: Fix pci_slot_trylock() error handling
Commit a4e772898f8b ("PCI: Add missing bridge lock to pci_bus_lock()")
delegates the bridge device's pci_dev_trylock() to pci_bus_trylock() in
pci_slot_trylock(), but it forgets to remove the corresponding
pci_dev_unlock() when pci_bus_trylock() fails.
Before a4e772898f8b, the code did:
if (!pci_dev_trylock(dev)) /* <- lock bridge device */
goto unlock;
if (dev->subordinate) {
if (!pci_bus_trylock(dev->subordinate)) {
pci_dev_unlock(dev); /* <- unlock bridge device */
goto unlock;
}
}
After a4e772898f8b the bridge-device lock is no longer taken, but the
pci_dev_unlock(dev) on the failure path was left in place, leading to the
bug.
This yields one of two errors:
1. A warning that the lock is being unlocked when no one holds it.
2. An incorrect unlock of a lock that belongs to another thread.
Fix it by removing the now-redundant pci_dev_unlock(dev) on the failure
path.

usb_udc_uevent+0x54/0xe0
Evidently this was caused by the scope of udc_mutex being too large.
The mutex is only meant to protect udc->driver along with a few other
things. As far as I can tell, there's no reason for the mutex to be
held while the gadget core calls a gadget driver's ->bind or ->unbind
routine, or while a UDC is being started or stopped. (This accounts
for link #1 in the chain above, where the mutex is held while the
dwc2_hsotg_udc is started as part of driver probing.)
Gadget drivers' ->disconnect callbacks are problematic. Even though
usb_gadget_disconnect() will now acquire the udc_mutex, there's a
window in usb_gadget_bind_driver() between the times when the mutex is
released and the ->bind callback is invoked. If a disconnect occurred
during that window, we could call the driver's ->disconnect routine
before its ->bind routine. To prevent this from happening, it will be
necessary to prevent a UDC from connecting while it has no gadget
driver. This should be done already but it doesn't seem to be;
currently usb_gadget_connect() has no check for this. Such a check
will have to be added later.
Some degree of mutual exclusion is required in soft_connect_store(),
which can dereference udc->driver at arbitrary times since it is a
sysfs callback. The solution here is to acquire the gadget's device
lock rather than the udc_mutex. Since the driver core guarantees that
the device lock is always held during driver binding and unbinding,
this will make the accesses in soft_connect_store() mutually exclusive
with any changes to udc->driver.
Lastly, it turns out there is one place which should hold the
udc_mutex but currently does not: The function_show() routine needs
protection while it dereferences udc->driver. The missing lock and
unlock calls are added. |

usb: dwc2: gadget: Fix spin_lock/unlock mismatch in dwc2_hsotg_udc_stop()
dwc2_gadget_exit_clock_gating() internally calls call_gadget() macro,
which expects hsotg->lock to be held since it does spin_unlock/spin_lock
around the gadget driver callback invocation.
However, dwc2_hsotg_udc_stop() calls dwc2_gadget_exit_clock_gating()
without holding the lock. This leads to:
- spin_unlock on a lock that is not held (undefined behavior)
- The lock remaining held after dwc2_gadget_exit_clock_gating() returns,
causing a deadlock when spin_lock_irqsave() is called later in the
same function.
Fix this by acquiring hsotg->lock before calling
dwc2_gadget_exit_clock_gating() and releasing it afterwards, which
satisfies the locking requirement of the call_gadget() macro. |

KVM: nSVM: Always use vmcb01 in VMLOAD/VMSAVE emulation
Commit cc3ed80ae69f ("KVM: nSVM: always use vmcb01 to for vmsave/vmload

VMSAVE/VMLOAD, but it missed updating the VMLOAD/VMSAVE emulation code

As a result, if VMSAVE/VMLOAD is executed by an L2 guest and is not

---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]---
The bug is reproducible on 7.0.0-rc2-next-20260310 with our dynamic
metadata fuzzing tool that corrupts btrfs metadata at runtime.
[CAUSE]
A non-zero drop_progress.objectid means an interrupted
btrfs_drop_snapshot() left a resume point on disk, and in that case
drop_level must be greater than 0 because the checkpoint is only
saved at internal node levels.
Although this invariant is enforced when the kernel writes the root
item, it is not validated when the root item is read back from disk.
That allows on-disk corruption to provide an invalid state with
drop_progress.objectid != 0 and drop_level == 0.
When relocation recovery later processes such a root item,
merge_reloc_root() reads drop_level and hits BUG_ON(level == 0). The
same invalid metadata can also trigger the corresponding BUG_ON() in
btrfs_drop_snapshot().
[FIX]
Fix this by validating the root_item invariant in tree-checker when
reading root items from disk: if drop_progress.objectid is non-zero,
drop_level must also be non-zero. Reject such malformed metadata with
-EUCLEAN before it reaches merge_reloc_root() or btrfs_drop_snapshot()
and triggers the BUG_ON.
After the fix, the same corruption is correctly rejected by tree-checker
and the BUG_ON is no longer triggered. |

The bio completion path in the process context (e.g. dm-verity)

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: target: tcm_loop: Drain commands in target_reset handler
tcm_loop_target_reset() violates the SCSI EH contract: it returns SUCCESS
without draining any in-flight commands. The SCSI EH documentation
(scsi_eh.rst) requires that when a reset handler returns SUCCESS the driver
has made lower layers "forget about timed out scmds" and is ready for new
commands. Every other SCSI LLD (virtio_scsi, mpt3sas, ipr, scsi_debug,
mpi3mr) enforces this by draining or completing outstanding commands before
returning SUCCESS.
Because tcm_loop_target_reset() doesn't drain, the SCSI EH reuses in-flight
scsi_cmnd structures for recovery commands (e.g. TUR) while the target core
still has async completion work queued for the old se_cmd. The memset in
queuecommand zeroes se_lun and lun_ref_active, causing
transport_lun_remove_cmd() to skip its percpu_ref_put(). The leaked LUN
reference prevents transport_clear_lun_ref() from completing, hanging

Fix this by making tcm_loop_target_reset() actually drain commands:
1. Issue TMR_LUN_RESET via tcm_loop_issue_tmr() to drain all commands that
the target core knows about (those not yet CMD_T_COMPLETE).
2. Use blk_mq_tagset_busy_iter() to iterate all started requests and
flush_work() on each se_cmd — this drains any deferred completion work
for commands that already had CMD_T_COMPLETE set before the TMR (which
the TMR skips via __target_check_io_state()). This is the same pattern
used by mpi3mr, scsi_debug, and libsas to drain outstanding commands
during reset. |

omap_mpuio_driver from omap_mpuio_init(), which is called from
omap_gpio_probe().
However, it neither makes sense to register drivers from probe()
callbacks of other drivers, nor does the driver core allow registering
drivers with a device lock already being held.
The latter was revealed by commit dc23806a7c47 ("driver core: enforce
device_lock for driver_match_device()") leading to a potential deadlock
condition described in [1].
Additionally, the omap_mpuio_driver is never unregistered from the
driver core, even if the module is unloaded.
Hence, register the omap_mpuio_driver from the module initcall and
unregister it in module_exit(). |
| An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 10.3 is affected. The issue involves the "Quick Look" component. It allows remote attackers to trigger telephone calls to arbitrary numbers via a tel: URL in a PDF document, as exploited in the wild in October 2016. |
| libp2p-rust is the official rust language Implementation of the libp2p networking stack. Prior to version 0.49.4, the Rust libp2p Gossipsub implementation contains a remotely reachable panic in backoff expiry handling. After a peer sends a crafted PRUNE control message with an attacker-controlled, near-maximum backoff value, the value is accepted and stored as an Instant near the representable upper bound. On a later heartbeat, the implementation performs unchecked Instant + Duration arithmetic (backoff_time + slack), which can overflow and panic with: overflow when adding duration to instant. This issue is reachable from any Gossipsub peer over normal TCP + Noise + mplex/yamux connectivity and requires no further authentication beyond becoming a protocol peer. This issue has been patched in version 0.49.4. |
| pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python. Prior to 0.6.3, the `pyasn1` library is vulnerable to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack caused by uncontrolled recursion when decoding ASN.1 data with deeply nested structures. An attacker can supply a crafted payload containing thousands of nested `SEQUENCE` (`0x30`) or `SET` (`0x31`) tags with "Indefinite Length" (`0x80`) markers. This forces the decoder to recursively call itself until the Python interpreter crashes with a `RecursionError` or consumes all available memory (OOM), crashing the host application. This is a distinct vulnerability from CVE-2026-23490 (which addressed integer overflows in OID decoding). The fix for CVE-2026-23490 (`MAX_OID_ARC_CONTINUATION_OCTETS`) does not mitigate this recursion issue. Version 0.6.3 fixes this specific issue. |
| A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Grafana caused by combining a client path traversal and open redirect. This allows attackers to redirect users to a website that hosts a frontend plugin that will execute arbitrary JavaScript. This vulnerability does not require editor permissions and if anonymous access is enabled, the XSS will work. If the Grafana Image Renderer plugin is installed, it is possible to exploit the open redirect to achieve a full read SSRF.
The default Content-Security-Policy (CSP) in Grafana will block the XSS though the `connect-src` directive. |
