| Weblate is a web-based continuous localization platform used to manage software translations. In versions prior to 2026.7, a team can require its members to configure two-factor authentication before receiving the team's permissions, but this requirement is not enforced for site-wide global permissions. As a result, a user who belongs to a team that enforces 2FA and grants a global permission still receives that global permission even without 2FA configured, while the same requirement is correctly applied to project-, component-, and workspace-scoped permissions. Such a user can act on the granted global permission, including reaching the site management interface at /manage/. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7. |
| Grav Flex Objects plugin versions 1.4.0 through 1.4.7 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in the flex-objects shortcode that allows users with page-edit access to render any registered Flex collection without permission checks. Attackers can place the shortcode in published pages to expose sensitive directory contents including user account information, bypassing the authorize ACL enforced in the admin panel. |
| The get-html-skeleton tool fetched a URL the caller supplied after checking only its syntax. The handler in src/tools/common/get_html_skeleton.ts validated the url argument with isValidHttpUrl from src/utils/generic.ts, which confirmed the string began with an http or https scheme and parsed as a URL and inspected neither the host name nor the address it resolves to. Loopback, link-local and private ranges therefore passed, including the address cloud providers use to serve instance metadata. The unchecked URL was handed to the web-browser actor and the fetched document was returned in the tool response, so any caller of the MCP server could make it request an endpoint reachable only from the host and read the result, including instance credentials. Version 0.9.12 removes the tool. |
| FrontAccounting through 2.4.20 stores and verifies user passwords as unsalted MD5 digests. admin/users.php passes md5($_POST['password']) to add_user() and update_user_password(), admin/change_current_user_password.php does the same when a user changes their own password, the forgotten-password path in includes/current_user.inc hashes the newly generated password the same way, and authentication calls get_user_auth($loginname, md5($password)). The codebase applies no per-password salt and contains no call to password_hash(), password_verify() or any other adaptive hash, so identical passwords yield identical digests and an attacker who obtains the user table can recover plaintext passwords with precomputed lookup tables or high-rate GPU cracking. |

| A flaw was found in the ipa_getkeytab module of the community.general
Ansible collection. The module's bind_pw parameter, used to supply the LDAP simple-bind password when retrieving a Kerberos keytab, is not declared with no_log, unlike the sibling password parameter in the same module. As a consequence, the supplied IPA/LDAP bind password is recorded in cleartext in the managed host's system journal/syslog (the module's "Invoked with" record), is included in the module's return values and verbose (-v) output, and is displayed in Automation Controller / AWX job output. The password is additionally passed on the command line to the ipa-getkeytab helper (as --bindpw <value>), exposing it in the process list to local users while the command runs. An attacker able to read these logs, job output, or the process table can obtain the directory bind credential, potentially compromising the accounts and objects that credential can access. |

| Frappe is a full-stack web application framework written in Python and JavaScript. Prior to version 15.115.0, an access control bypass in the REST API allows a user to read data from Linked DocTypes that they are not authorized to access. When a document references another document through a Link field, the framework does not consistently enforce the linked DocType's own permissions when the record is retrieved through the REST API, so a low-privileged authenticated user can obtain fields from linked records outside their permitted scope. This issue is fixed in version 15.115.0. |

| A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Dia diagram editor WPG file format importer.
In plug-ins/wpg/wpg-import.c, the WPG import renderer allocates a fixed palette with:

When handling a WPG_COLORMAP record, the parser reads a start index (i16) and number of colors (iNum16) from the file and reads palette data with:

The only bounds-related check is `if (i16 >= 0 && i16 <= iSize)`, where iSize is the WPG record size—not the palette capacity. There is no validation that i16 is less than 256 or that i16 + iNum16 does not exceed 256.
A malicious WPG file can supply i16=256 and iNum16=264. That causes fread() to write 792 bytes starting at &pPal[256], while the palette buffer is only 768 bytes (256 entries × 3 bytes). This overflows into adjacent heap metadata and can crash Dia (SIGABRT / malloc corruption errors) or, depending on heap layout and exploit primitives, potentially lead to arbitrary code execution.
Exploitation requires convincing a user to open a crafted WPG file via Dia's file dialog, command line, or file association. No special privileges are required to deliver the file to the victim.
Affected component: WPG parser (plug-ins/wpg/wpg-import.c).
Affected versions: all Dia versions containing this code path (reporter tested Dia 0.98+git20260221-1; issue present on upstream master as of 2026-08-21). |
