CVE-2025-0686 2 Gnu, Redhat 3 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-06-29 6.4 Medium
A flaw was found in grub2. When performing a symlink lookup from a romfs filesystem, grub's romfs filesystem module uses user-controlled parameters from the filesystem geometry to determine the internal buffer size, however, it improperly checks for integer overflows. A maliciously crafted filesystem may lead some of those buffer size calculations to overflow, causing it to perform a grub_malloc() operation with a smaller size than expected. As a result, the grub_romfs_read_symlink() may cause out-of-bounds writes when the calling grub_disk_read() function. This issue may be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and can result in arbitrary code execution by-passing secure boot protections.
CVE-2025-0620 2 Redhat, Samba 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Samba 2026-06-29 4.9 Medium
A flaw was found in Samba. The smbd service daemon does not pick up group membership changes when re-authenticating an expired SMB session. This issue can expose file shares until clients disconnect and then connect again.
CVE-2024-45780 2 Gnu, Redhat 3 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-06-29 6.7 Medium
A flaw was found in grub2. When reading tar files, grub2 allocates an internal buffer for the file name. However, it fails to properly verify the allocation against possible integer overflows. It's possible to cause the allocation length to overflow with a crafted tar file, leading to a heap out-of-bounds write. This flaw eventually allows an attacker to circumvent secure boot protections.
CVE-2024-45778 2 Gnu, Redhat 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-06-29 4.1 Medium
A stack overflow flaw was found when reading a BFS file system. A crafted BFS filesystem may lead to an uncontrolled loop, causing grub2 to crash.
CVE-2025-7425 1 Redhat 17 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 14 more 2026-06-29 7.8 High
A flaw was found in libxslt where the attribute type, atype, flags are modified in a way that corrupts internal memory management. When XSLT functions, such as the key() process, result in tree fragments, this corruption prevents the proper cleanup of ID attributes. As a result, the system may access freed memory, causing crashes or enabling attackers to trigger heap corruption.
CVE-2025-7424 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft 5 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 2 more 2026-06-29 7.5 High
A flaw was found in the libxslt library. The same memory field, psvi, is used for both stylesheet and input data, which can lead to type confusion during XML transformations. This vulnerability allows an attacker to crash the application or corrupt memory. In some cases, it may lead to denial of service or unexpected behavior.
CVE-2025-10230 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-06-29 10 Critical
A flaw was found in Samba, in the front-end WINS hook handling: NetBIOS names from registration packets are passed to a shell without proper validation or escaping. Unsanitized NetBIOS name data from WINS registration packets are inserted into a shell command and executed by the Samba Active Directory Domain Controller’s wins hook, allowing an unauthenticated network attacker to achieve remote command execution as the Samba process.
CVE-2025-1244 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift Builds, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2026-06-29 8.8 High
A command injection flaw was found in the text editor Emacs. It could allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on a vulnerable system. Exploitation is possible by tricking users into visiting a specially crafted website or an HTTP URL with a redirect.
CVE-2024-13484 1 Redhat 1 Openshift Gitops 2026-06-26 8.2 High
A flaw was found in openshift-gitops-operator-container. The openshift.io/cluster-monitoring label is applied to all namespaces that deploy an ArgoCD CR instance, allowing the namespace to create a rogue PrometheusRule. This issue can have adverse effects on the platform monitoring stack, as the rule is rolled out cluster-wide when the label is applied.
CVE-2026-12725 3 Dnsmasq, Redhat, Thekelleys 5 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more 2026-06-24 5.9 Medium
A heap-based buffer overflow was found in dnsmasq. When DNSSEC validation and query logging are both enabled, logging of DS or DNSKEY replies containing unsupported algorithm or digest types can cause dnsmasq to write past the end of an internal logging buffer. A remote attacker able to supply such a DNS response may crash the dnsmasq process, resulting in denial of service.
CVE-2026-3832 2 Gnu, Redhat 9 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2026-06-24 3.7 Low
A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by presenting a specially crafted Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) response during a TLS handshake. Due to a logic error in how gnutls processes multi-record OCSP responses, a client with OCSP verification enabled may incorrectly accept a revoked server certificate, potentially leading to a compromise of trust.
CVE-2026-12969 3 Dnsmasq, Redhat, Thekelleys 5 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more 2026-06-24 5.3 Medium
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in dnsmasq's find_soa() function in src/rfc1035.c. When parsing NS section records, extract_name() is called with extrabytes=0, failing to validate that 10 additional bytes exist for fixed-length DNS record fields. A remote attacker controlling a DNS zone can exploit this via a crafted NXDOMAIN response to cause a 10-byte heap out-of-bounds read, potentially accessing stale data from prior transactions.
CVE-2026-44604 1 Redhat 8 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 5 more 2026-06-23 7 High
A command injection vulnerability was discovered in the `rpmuncompress` utility of RPM. When extracting certain archive formats (ZIP, 7z, GEM) to a specified destination directory, the tool inserts the archive's top-level folder name into a shell command without properly sanitizing it. A specially crafted archive containing shell metacharacters in its folder name can execute arbitrary commands as the user running the extraction.
CVE-2026-4480 2 Redhat, Samba 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more 2026-06-23 9 Critical
A flaw was found in the Samba printing subsystem. Samba passes the client-controlled job description string to the command configured with the "print command" setting via the "%J" substitution character without escaping shell meta characters. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted print job description that contains unescaped shell characters. This could lead to remote code execution on the affected system.
CVE-2026-9804 1 Redhat 2 Container Native Virtualization, Openshift Virtualization 2026-06-22 7.7 High
A flaw was found in KubeVirt's virt-exportserver component. An attacker with specific namespace-level access can exploit a path traversal vulnerability in the VMExport directory endpoint. By placing a symbolic link (symlink) within an exported filesystem Persistent Volume Claim (PVC) that points outside its designated mount root, the attacker can read arbitrary files from the exporter pod's filesystem. This leads to information disclosure, potentially exposing sensitive data.
CVE-2026-3195 2 Qemu, Redhat 3 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-06-22 7.4 High
A flaw was found in QEMU. When reading input audio in the virtio-snd device input callback, the `virtio_snd_pcm_in_cb` function did not check whether the iov could fit the data buffer, potentially leading to a heap out-of-bounds write. This issue exists due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2024-7730.
CVE-2018-1259 5 Broadcom, Pivotal Software, Redhat and 2 more 6 Spring Data Commons, Spring Data Rest, Jboss Fuse and 3 more 2026-06-15 N/A
Spring Data Commons, versions 1.13 prior to 1.13.12 and 2.0 prior to 2.0.7, used in combination with XMLBeam 1.4.14 or earlier versions, contains a property binder vulnerability caused by improper restriction of XML external entity references as underlying library XMLBeam does not restrict external reference expansion. An unauthenticated remote malicious user can supply specially crafted request parameters against Spring Data's projection-based request payload binding to access arbitrary files on the system.
CVE-2025-5372 2 Libssh, Redhat 8 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 5 more 2026-06-15 5 Medium
A flaw was found in libssh versions built with OpenSSL versions older than 3.0, specifically in the ssh_kdf() function responsible for key derivation. Due to inconsistent interpretation of return values where OpenSSL uses 0 to indicate failure and libssh uses 0 for success—the function may mistakenly return a success status even when key derivation fails. This results in uninitialized cryptographic key buffers being used in subsequent communication, potentially compromising SSH sessions' confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
CVE-2026-11850 1 Redhat 5 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 2 more 2026-06-12 5 Medium
An integer underflow vulnerability was found in MIT krb5 in the berval2tl_data() function in plugins/kdb/ldap/libkdb_ldap/ldap_principal2.c. The function performs an unsigned subtraction (bv_len - 2) without a prior bounds check. When bv_len is 0 or 1, the subtraction wraps to a large value which is then truncated to uint16_t, yielding 0xFFFE (65534) or 0xFFFF (65535). The subsequent malloc succeeds and memcpy reads up to 65534 bytes from a 0-1 byte buffer, resulting in a heap out-of-bounds read. The attack vector involves a malicious or compromised LDAP KDB backend returning a krbExtraData attribute with bv_len < 2, triggering the underflow when the KDC or kadmind reads principal data.
CVE-2026-3238 2 Redhat, Samba 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more 2026-06-09 7.5 High
A flaw was found in Samba’s WINS server component when running as an Active Directory Domain Controller. The WINS protocol handlers for certain request types did not properly validate incoming packets, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to trigger a NULL pointer dereference and crash the WINS service using specially crafted UDP packets.
