CVSS v3.1 |
| Multiple integer overflows in libgadu, as used in Kopete in KDE 3.2.3 to 3.4.1, ekg before 1.6rc3, GNU Gadu, CenterICQ, Kadu, and other packages, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via an incoming message. |
| Integer underflow in Apple Quicktime before 7.0.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via the Color Map Entry Size in a TGA image file. |
| Integer overflow in ImageIO in Apple Mac OS X 10.4 up to 10.4.5 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted JPEG image with malformed JPEG metadata, as demonstrated using Safari, aka "Deja-Doom". |
| Multiple off-by-one errors in Wireshark (aka Ethereal) 0.9.7 to 0.99.0 have unknown impact and remote attack vectors via the (1) NCP NMAS and (2) NDPS dissectors. |
| parse-packet.c in GnuPG (gpg) 1.4.3 and 1.9.20, and earlier versions, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (gpg crash) and possibly overwrite memory via a message packet with a large length (long user ID string), which could lead to an integer overflow, as demonstrated using the --no-armor option. |
| Multiple integer overflows in XFree86 before 4.3.0 allow user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted pixmap image. |
| Integer overflow in Apple Quicktime before 7.0.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a TIFF image file with modified image height and width (ImageWidth) tags. |
| Integer overflow in Apple Quicktime before 7.0.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a TIFF image file with modified (1) "strips" (StripByteCounts) or (2) "bands" (StripOffsets) values. |
| member2.php in vBulletin 2.2.9 and earlier does not properly restrict the $perpage variable to be an integer, which causes an error message to be reflected back to the user without quoting, which facilitates cross-site scripting (XSS) and possibly other attacks. |
| snmp_api.c in snmpd in Net-SNMP 5.2.x before 5.2.2, 5.1.x before 5.1.3, and 5.0.x before 5.0.10.2, when running in master agentx mode, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) by causing a particular TCP disconnect, which triggers a free of an incorrect variable, a different vulnerability than CVE-2005-2177. |
| The IAPP dissector (packet-iapp.c) for Ethereal 0.9.1 to 0.10.9 does not properly use certain routines for formatting strings, which could leave it vulnerable to buffer overflows, as demonstrated using modified length values that are not properly handled by the dissect_pdus and pduval_to_str functions. |
| Epic Games Unreal Engine 226f through 436 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption or crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via (1) a packet with a negative size value, which is treated as a large positive number during memory allocation, or (2) a negative size value in a package file. |
| The CCITTFaxStream::CCITTFaxStream function in Stream.cc for xpdf, gpdf, kpdf, pdftohtml, poppler, teTeX, CUPS, libextractor, and others allows attackers to corrupt the heap via negative or large integers in a CCITTFaxDecode stream, which lead to integer overflows and integer underflows. |
| The Remote Mount feature can potentially be abused by valid, authenticated users to make connections to internal services that may not normally be accessible to users. Internal service access controls, as applicable, remain in effect. |
|
PowerPath Management Appliance with version 3.3 contains Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An authenticated admin user could potentially exploit this issue and gain unrestricted control/code execution on the system as root.
|
| Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability.
In Grafana Enterprise, Request security is a deny list that allows admins to configure Grafana in a way so that the instance doesn’t call specific hosts.
However, the restriction can be bypassed used punycode encoding of the characters in the request address. |
| Apache NiFi 1.21.0 through 1.23.0 support JDBC and JNDI JMS access in several Processors and Controller Services with connection URL validation that does not provide sufficient protection against crafted inputs. An authenticated and authorized user can bypass connection URL validation using custom input formatting. The resolution enhances connection URL validation and introduces validation for additional related properties. Upgrading to Apache NiFi 1.23.1 is the recommended mitigation. |
| Babel is a compiler for writingJavaScript. In `@babel/traverse` prior to versions 7.23.2 and 8.0.0-alpha.4 and all versions of `babel-traverse`, using Babel to compile code that was specifically crafted by an attacker can lead to arbitrary code execution during compilation, when using plugins that rely on the `path.evaluate()`or `path.evaluateTruthy()` internal Babel methods. Known affected plugins are `@babel/plugin-transform-runtime`; `@babel/preset-env` when using its `useBuiltIns` option; and any "polyfill provider" plugin that depends on `@babel/helper-define-polyfill-provider`, such as `babel-plugin-polyfill-corejs3`, `babel-plugin-polyfill-corejs2`, `babel-plugin-polyfill-es-shims`, `babel-plugin-polyfill-regenerator`. No other plugins under the `@babel/` namespace are impacted, but third-party plugins might be. Users that only compile trusted code are not impacted. The vulnerability has been fixed in `@babel/traverse@7.23.2` and `@babel/traverse@8.0.0-alpha.4`. Those who cannot upgrade `@babel/traverse` and are using one of the affected packages mentioned above should upgrade them to their latest version to avoid triggering the vulnerable code path in affected `@babel/traverse` versions: `@babel/plugin-transform-runtime` v7.23.2, `@babel/preset-env` v7.23.2, `@babel/helper-define-polyfill-provider` v0.4.3, `babel-plugin-polyfill-corejs2` v0.4.6, `babel-plugin-polyfill-corejs3` v0.8.5, `babel-plugin-polyfill-es-shims` v0.10.0, `babel-plugin-polyfill-regenerator` v0.5.3. |
| SvelteKit is a web development framework. The SvelteKit framework offers developers an option to create simple REST APIs. This is done by defining a `+server.js` file, containing endpoint handlers for different HTTP methods.
SvelteKit provides out-of-the-box cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection to its users. While the implementation does a sufficient job in mitigating common CSRF attacks, prior to version 1.15.1, the protection can be bypassed by simply specifying a different `Content-Type` header value.
If abused, this issue will allow malicious requests to be submitted from third-party domains, which can allow execution of operations within the context of the victim's session, and in extreme scenarios can lead to unauthorized access to users’ accounts.
SvelteKit 1.15.1 updates the `is_form_content_type` function call in the CSRF protection logic to include `text/plain`. As additional hardening of the CSRF protection mechanism against potential method overrides, SvelteKit 1.15.1 is now performing validation on `PUT`, `PATCH` and `DELETE` methods as well. This latter hardening is only needed to protect users who have put in some sort of `?_method= override` feature themselves in their `handle` hook, so that the request that resolve sees could be `PUT`/`PATCH`/`DELETE` when the browser issues a `POST` request. |
| An Incorrect Regular Expression vulnerability in Bitdefender GravityZone Update Server allows an attacker to cause a Server Side Request Forgery and reconfigure the relay. This issue affects the following products that include the vulnerable component:
Bitdefender Endpoint Security for Linux version 7.0.5.200089
Bitdefender Endpoint Security for Windows version 7.9.9.380
GravityZone Control Center (On Premises) version 6.36.1
