CVE-2026-98446 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: don't let hidden_space go negative in xfs_metafile_resv_init LOLLM points out that if the amount of fdblocks that we can reserve for a metadata btree file goes below the space already used by that file, then the hidden_space subtraction can underflow, causing xfs_dec_fdblocks to subtract a huge amount of space. We never want the target to be less than the used sapce, so fix the logic that adjusts dblocks_avail downwards. Also fix an error in the adjacent comment.
CVE-2026-98529 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 1.9 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: arizona: Fix runtime PM leak in arizona_gpio_direction_out() Switching a persistent GPIO line from input to output acquires a runtime PM reference on the parent device, but if the subsequent regmap_update_bits() fails the reference is never dropped and no later direction_in() can balance it since the direction was never changed. Drop the reference on the update failure path.
CVE-2026-98530 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kprobes: Fix permanent hang when flushing the kprobe optimizer Writing 0 to /proc/sys/debug/kprobes-optimization while a kprobe is jump-optimized never returns. The writer sleeps in D state forever with kprobe_sysctl_mutex held, so any later read or write of that sysctl hangs as well. For example, with vfs_read+9 as an optimizable address in this build: # cd /sys/kernel/tracing # echo 'p:myprobe vfs_read+9' >> kprobe_events # echo 1 > events/kprobes/myprobe/enable # # wait until /sys/kernel/debug/kprobes/list shows [OPTIMIZED] # echo 0 > /proc/sys/debug/kprobes-optimization INFO: task sh:246 blocked for more than 10 seconds. Call Trace: <TASK> __schedule+0x1176/0x4f70 schedule+0xdc/0x2c0 schedule_timeout+0x17b/0x260 wait_for_completion+0x173/0x3c0 wait_for_kprobe_optimizer_locked+0xbc/0x130 proc_kprobes_optimization_handler+0x156/0x1b0 proc_sys_call_handler+0x324/0x490 vfs_write+0x52d/0xfe0 ksys_write+0xff/0x200 do_syscall_64+0x106/0x630 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f </TASK> ... INFO: task cat:265 is blocked on a mutex likely owned by task sh:246. wait_for_kprobe_optimizer_locked() reinitializes optimizer_completion, asks the optimizer thread to flush and sleeps in wait_for_completion(). The thread drains the (un)optimizing lists, but calls complete() only if completion_done() is true, i.e. if the completion is already done, which never happens while someone waits. disarm_all_kprobes() and kprobe_trace_self_tests_init() wait the same way. Calling complete() unconditionally would not be enough: the waiter drops kprobe_mutex while it sleeps, and nothing else serializes the sysctl handler against the debugfs "enabled" file. A second flusher that still finds the lists non-empty, e.g. because a disabled probe is queued for unoptimizing, reinitializes the completion under the first: sysctl write debugfs "enabled" write unoptimize_all_kprobes() wait_for_kprobe_optimizer_locked() init_completion(c) mutex_unlock(&kprobe_mutex) wait_for_completion(c) disarm_all_kprobes() wait_for_kprobe_optimizer_locked() init_completion(c) // c->wait is reset, the first // waiter is off the queue mutex_unlock(&kprobe_mutex) wait_for_completion(c) kprobe_optimizer() complete(c) // wakes the debugfs writer only where c is &optimizer_completion. Lining up the two writes during an optimizer pass loses the sysctl writer this way. Replace the completion with a counter of optimizer passes, bumped at the end of each pass and signalled with wake_up_var_locked(), both under kprobe_mutex. A flusher samples the count and waits with wait_var_event_mutex(), which drops kprobe_mutex only while sleeping, so a new count means a whole pass ran in the meantime. Nothing is reinitialized, so several flushers can sleep in the wait at once.
CVE-2026-98531 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 3.3 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: sr: enforce exact attribute length for SEG6_ATTR_DST In seg6_genl_policy, SEG6_ATTR_DST is defined with .type = NLA_BINARY and .len = sizeof(struct in6_addr). For NLA_BINARY, .len only enforces the maximum payload length and permits shorter payloads (e.g., 0 bytes). When seg6_genl_set_tunsrc() copies sizeof(struct in6_addr) bytes via kmemdup(val, sizeof(*val), GFP_KERNEL), a short SEG6_ATTR_DST attribute triggers a 16-byte out-of-bounds read past skb->tail into uninitialized skb->head memory, which is stored in sdata->tun_src and leaked back to userspace via SEG6_CMD_GET_TUNSRC. Switch SEG6_ATTR_DST in seg6_genl_policy to NLA_POLICY_EXACT_LEN(sizeof(struct in6_addr)) so that generic netlink validation rejects any attribute whose length is not exactly sizeof(struct in6_addr) with -ERANGE. Tested in QEMU against Linux 7.3.0-rc3 by sending a SEG6_CMD_SET_TUNSRC Generic Netlink message with a 0-byte SEG6_ATTR_DST attribute followed by SEG6_CMD_GET_TUNSRC. On the unfixed kernel, SEG6_CMD_SET_TUNSRC succeeds (err = 0) and SEG6_CMD_GET_TUNSRC leaks 16 bytes of uninitialized kernel heap memory (tun_src = 836a61ecc4d25a1042a8d60411cfb378); with this patch applied, SEG6_CMD_SET_TUNSRC is rejected by netlink policy validation with -ERANGE (-34) and tun_src remains zeroed.
CVE-2026-98534 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipe: fix use-after-free when auditing a newly loaded policy new_policy() audits the policy after ipe_new_policyfs_node() publishes it and drops the new directory's inode lock. A concurrent delete can free the policy while ipe_audit_policy_load() is still using it. Audit the successful load under that lock. [FW: remove model name according to latest guideline]
CVE-2026-86976 1 Apple 2 Ios And Ipados, Macos 2026-10-20 5.5 Medium
An authorization issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27. An app may be able to access sensitive user data.
CVE-2026-96902 2026-10-20 N/A
The Easy Property Listings WordPress plugin before 3.5.28 does not restrict which listing fields it adds to the public REST API output, allowing unauthenticated users to read details a site has chosen to hide on published listings, such as the asking price, sold price, street address and exact map coordinates.
CVE-2026-111902 2 Phpmyfaq, Thorsten 2 Phpmyfaq, Phpmyfaq 2026-10-20 5.3 Medium
phpMyFAQ 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in isFaqAccessibleForUser() that treats a missing FAQ translation as visible to unauthenticated users. Attackers can send a mismatched Accept-Language header to the comments and attachments API endpoints to read comments and attachment listings of unpublished or ACL-restricted FAQs.
CVE-2026-111920 2 Go-vikunja, Vikunja 2 Vikunja, Vikunja 2026-10-20 4.3 Medium
Vikunja 2.6.0 contains a broken access control flaw in getProjectAccessForUser (pkg/models/project_access.go), which resolves a user's effective project permission as the maximum over the project tree, silently overriding explicit lower-permission shares on sub-projects. A collaborator with write access on a parent project but read-only access to a child project can modify the child project's tasks and content.
CVE-2026-113496 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-10-20 5 Medium
A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. When saving Virtual Network Computing (VNC) console settings, the configured password is passed directly as a command-line argument to an underlying system utility. A local unprivileged attacker on a host that allows cross-user process inspection could read the exposed password from the process list while another user modifies settings. This credential disclosure can allow unauthorized access to the guest virtual machine's graphical console.
CVE-2026-73179 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-20 8.1 High
Improper enforcement of single-use authorization code semantics in the JPA OAuth2 authorization code grant provider in Apache CXFallows a remote attacker to obtain multiple valid access tokens from a single authorization code via concurrent token exchange requests that race the non-atomic find-then-delete operation against a shared relational database under READ_COMMITTED isolation. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2026-78384 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-20 7.5 High
CompressionUtils.inflate() decompressed attacker-controlled DEFLATE data with no output-size cap. A small (~KB) crafted payload could expand to gigabytes on the heap. Reachable via JWE decryption when zip=DEF (e.g. JoseSessionTokenProvider with RSA-OAEP key wrap) and via SAML redirect/POST binding token inflation — in both cases decompression happens before/independent of trust validation. Fix: Added a configurable maximum inflated-size cap (default 10 MiB, org.apache.cxf.compression-max-inflated-size system property) to CompressionUtils.inflate(); aborts with DataFormatException once exceeded. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.
CVE-2026-79650 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-20 6.1 Medium
Apache CXF’s OIDC relying-party component could redirect users to an attacker-controlled URL after successful authentication. The issue occurs because attacker-controlled state parameters are preserved and later used as redirect targets without validating that the final decoded URI belongs to the RP’s origin. Both directly encoded and double-encoded external URLs can trigger the issue, depending on which validation path is used. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.
CVE-2026-86463 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-20 7.5 High
Apache CXF's FIQL query parser has a vulnerability in how it searches for operators in query expressions. The search pattern can get stuck trying many combinations when it encounters a long string without an operator, causing the parser to consume excessive CPU time. An attacker can send a crafted query to make the server use up CPU resources, potentially slowing down or stopping other requests. The fix was to limit FIQL expressions to 4 KiB by default, preventing attackers from sending extremely long inputs while still allowing normal queries. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.
CVE-2026-97468 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-20 9.1 Critical
Apache CXF's STSTokenValidator and Security Token Service (STS) cached validated security tokens under a non-cryptographic 32-bit hash of the token (Java Arrays.hashCode/hashCode()), and treated a cache hit as proof that the presented token had already been validated. An attacker could craft a token (for example a UsernameToken or a self-signed SAML Assertion) whose hash collides with a cached entry. The token would then be accepted without password validation, signature trust verification or a call to the STS. This could let the attacker authenticate as another user and, through STS token validation or renewal, obtain STS-signed tokens for that identity. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.
CVE-2026-97791 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-20 7.5 High
In Apache CXF, STSTokenValidator checks whether a SAML assertion is signed by a trusted certificate before deciding to send it to the STS. That result was stored in one object shared by all requests, so one request could read another's result. A remote, unauthenticated attacker could send a forged assertion signed with an untrusted certificate while legitimate requests were being processed, and it could be accepted as trusted without ever reaching the STS. Only services that use STSTokenValidator to validate SAML tokens without alwaysValidateToSts set are affected.  Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.
CVE-2026-102855 1 Microsoft 3 365 Apps, Office 2021, Office 2024 2026-10-20 8.8 High
