CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86-64: rename misleadingly named '__copy_user_nocache()' function
This function was a masterclass in bad naming, for various historical
reasons.
It claimed to be a non-cached user copy. It is literally _neither_ of
those things. It's a specialty memory copy routine that uses
non-temporal stores for the destination (but not the source), and that
does exception handling for both source and destination accesses.
Also note that while it works for unaligned targets, any unaligned parts
(whether at beginning or end) will not use non-temporal stores, since
only words and quadwords can be non-temporal on x86.
The exception handling means that it _can_ be used for user space
accesses, but not on its own - it needs all the normal "start user space
access" logic around it.
But typically the user space access would be the source, not the
non-temporal destination. That was the original intention of this,
where the destination was some fragile persistent memory target that
needed non-temporal stores in order to catch machine check exceptions
synchronously and deal with them gracefully.
Thus that non-descriptive name: one use case was to copy from user space
into a non-cached kernel buffer. However, the existing users are a mix
of that intended use-case, and a couple of random drivers that just did
this as a performance tweak.
Some of those random drivers then actively misused the user copying
version (with STAC/CLAC and all) to do kernel copies without ever even
caring about the exception handling, _just_ for the non-temporal
destination.
Rename it as a first small step to actually make it halfway sane, and
change the prototype to be more normal: it doesn't take a user pointer
unless the caller has done the proper conversion, and the argument size
is the full size_t (it still won't actually copy more than 4GB in one
go, but there's also no reason to silently truncate the size argument in
the caller).
Finally, use this now sanely named function in the NTB code, which
mis-used a user copy version (with STAC/CLAC and all) of this interface
despite it not actually being a user copy at all. |
| When using http.CrossOriginProtection, the AddInsecureBypassPattern method can unexpectedly bypass more requests than intended. CrossOriginProtection then skips validation, but forwards the original request path, which may be served by a different handler without the intended security protections. |
| An information disclosure vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 when doing HTTP(S) transfers, libcurl might erroneously use the read callback (`CURLOPT_READFUNCTION`) to ask for data to send, even when the `CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS` option has been set, if the same handle previously wasused to issue a `PUT` request which used that callback. This flaw may surprise the application and cause it to misbehave and either send off the wrong data or use memory after free or similar in the second transfer. The problem exists in the logic for a reused handle when it is (expected to be) changed from a PUT to a POST. |

| If the PATH environment variable contains paths which are executables (rather than just directories), passing certain strings to LookPath ("", ".", and ".."), can result in the binaries listed in the PATH being unexpectedly returned. |
| An Expected Behavior Violation vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated adjacent attacker sending a valid BGP UPDATE packet to cause a BGP session reset, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
Continuous receipt and processing of this packet will create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition.
This issue affects iBGP and eBGP and both IPv4 and IPv6 are affected by this vulnerability.
This issue affects Junos OS:
* All versions before 21.2R3-S9,
* from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S11,
* from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S7,
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S7,
* from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S4,
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S4,
* from 24.2 before 24.2R2,
* from 24.4 before 24.4R1-S3, 24.4R2
Junos OS Evolved:
* All versions before 22.2R3-S7-EVO,
* from 22.4-EVO before 22.4R3-S7-EVO,
* from 23.2-EVO before 23.2R2-S4-EVO,

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
HID: quirks: Add quirk for 2 Chicony Electronics HP 5MP Cameras
The Chicony Electronics HP 5MP Cameras (USB ID 04F2:B824 & 04F2:B82C)
report a HID sensor interface that is not actually implemented.
Attempting to access this non-functional sensor via iio_info causes
system hangs as runtime PM tries to wake up an unresponsive sensor.
Add these 2 devices to the HID ignore list since the sensor interface is
non-functional by design and should not be exposed to userspace. |
| Erlang/OTP is a set of libraries for the Erlang programming language. In versions prior to OTP-27.3.4 (for OTP-27), OTP-26.2.5.12 (for OTP-26), and OTP-25.3.2.21 (for OTP-25), Erlang/OTP SSH fails to enforce strict KEX handshake hardening measures by allowing optional messages to be exchanged. This allows a Man-in-the-Middle attacker to inject these messages in a connection during the handshake. This issue has been patched in versions OTP-27.3.4 (for OTP-27), OTP-26.2.5.12 (for OTP-26), and OTP-25.3.2.21 (for OTP-25). |
| An Expected Behavior Violation [CWE-440] vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS may allow an attacker to bypass the Fireware OS boot time system integrity check and prevent the Firebox from shutting down in the event of a system integrity check failure. The on-demand system integrity check in the Fireware Web UI will correctly show a failed system integrity check message in the event of a failure.This issue affects Fireware OS: from 12.8.1 through 12.11.4, from 2025.1 through 2025.1.2. |
| In danny-avila/librechat version 0.7.9, there is an insecure API design issue in the 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) flow. The system allows users to disable 2FA without requiring a valid OTP or backup code, bypassing the intended verification process. This vulnerability occurs because the backend does not properly validate the OTP or backup code when the API endpoint '/api/auth/2fa/disable' is directly accessed. This flaw can be exploited by authenticated users to weaken the security of their own accounts, although it does not lead to full account compromise. |
| Inappropriate implementation in Fullscreen in Google Chrome prior to 128.0.6613.84 allowed a remote attacker to perform UI spoofing via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| A flaw was found in OpenStack due to an inconsistency between Cinder and Nova. This issue can be triggered intentionally or by accident. A remote, authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability by detaching one of their volumes from Cinder. The highest impact is to confidentiality. |
| The “ipaddress” module contained incorrect information about whether certain IPv4 and IPv6 addresses were designated as “globally reachable” or “private”. This affected the is_private and is_global properties of the ipaddress.IPv4Address, ipaddress.IPv4Network, ipaddress.IPv6Address, and ipaddress.IPv6Network classes, where values wouldn’t be returned in accordance with the latest information from the IANA Special-Purpose Address Registries.
CPython 3.12.4 and 3.13.0a6 contain updated information from these registries and thus have the intended behavior. |
| cJSON 1.7.15 might allow a denial of service via a crafted JSON document such as {"a": true, "b": [ null,9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999912345678901234567]}. |
| pytorch v2.8.0 was discovered to display unexpected behavior when the components torch.rot90 and torch.randn_like are used together. |
| A syntax error in the component proxy_tensor.py of pytorch v2.7.0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS). |
| TensorFlow v2.18.0 was discovered to output random results when compiling Embedding, leading to unexpected behavior in the application. |
| In PyTorch through 2.6.0, when eager is used, nn.PairwiseDistance(p=2) produces incorrect results. |
| In PyTorch before 2.7.0, when torch.compile is used, FractionalMaxPool2d has inconsistent results. |
| PyTorch before 3.7.0 has a bernoulli_p decompose function in decompositions.py even though it lacks full consistency with the eager CPU implementation, negatively affecting nn.Dropout1d, nn.Dropout2d, and nn.Dropout3d for fallback_random=True. |
