| Git for Windows is the Windows port of Git. Prior to 2.55.0.windows.4, a malicious remote Git server can advertise a bundle URI that reaches transport_get_remote_bundle_uri(), fetch_bundle_uri_internal(), and copy_uri_to_file() in bundle-uri.c during clone or fetch when transfer.bundleuri=true. Non-HTTP(S) values are treated as local filesystem paths, and file URI prefixes are removed, so a bare UNC path or file URI targeting an attacker-controlled share causes Windows to initiate an outbound SMB connection. This can expose NTLM authentication material to the attacker-selected host. This issue is fixed in version 2.55.0.windows.4. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: act_ct: preserve tc_skb_cb across defragmentation
tcf_ct_handle_fragments() calls nf_ct_handle_fragments() without saving
and restoring skb->cb. The defrag helper clears IPCB/IP6CB, which aliases
the tc_skb_cb/qdisc_skb_cb control buffer. Fragmented traffic through
act_ct therefore loses qdisc metadata such as pkt_segs and can trigger
WARN_ON_ONCE() in qdisc_pkt_segs() when panic_on_warn is enabled.
Save and restore the full tc_skb_cb around nf_ct_handle_fragments(),
matching the pattern used by ovs_ct_handle_fragments(). |
| Libevent is an event notification library. Prior to 2.1.13 and 2.2.2-alpha, libevent has a heap out-of-bounds write in bufferevent_sock.c when bufferevent_socket_set_conn_address_ copies a kernel-supplied AF_UNIX peer address into bufferevent_private.conn_address. Release builds compiled with NDEBUG disable the EVUTIL_ASSERT length guard, and the evhttp accept path can pass a 110-byte sockaddr from accept() into the 28-byte field. An unauthenticated local peer able to connect to an AF_UNIX listener can overwrite the adjacent dns_request pointer and heap data, causing memory corruption with confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact. This issue is fixed in versions 2.1.13 and 2.2.2-alpha. |
| Runtipi is a personal homeserver orchestrator. In 4.10.0 and earlier, Runtipi accepts symbolic links from an attacker-controlled backup archive and copies them into live application paths during the backup restore flow. An authenticated attacker can plant user-config/app.env as a symlink to an arbitrary reachable path and then send PUT /api/user-config/demoapp3:_user with attacker-controlled appEnv content. FilesystemService.writeTextFile() follows the planted link, allowing content to be written outside the intended restore and user-config directory boundary with Runtipi process permissions. This issue is fixed in version 4.10.1. |

| libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In 1.23.0 and earlier, a crafted HEIF or AVIF file containing a clean aperture box can reduce an image dimension to zero and crash or corrupt tiling results when heif_image_handle_get_image_tiling(handle, 1, &tiling) is called. ImageItem::get_heif_image_tiling() returns already transformed dimensions, and process_image_transformations_on_tiling() applies the clean aperture transformation again. The second application passes zero to Box_clap::left_rounded(0), where image_width minus one underflows and constructs Fraction(0xFFFFFFFF, 2). Debug builds reach an assertion and abort, while release builds can return a corrupt crop and zero-width tiling result. The affected implementation spans libheif/image-items/image_item.cc, libheif/context.cc, and libheif/box.cc. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1. |
| libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In 1.23.0 and earlier, a crafted HEIF sequence accepted by heif_context_read_from_memory() can leave the context with no registered sequence tracks and crash when heif_context_get_track(ctx, 0) is called. HeifContext::get_track() in libheif/context.cc executes assert(has_sequence()) before its normal error handling, so assert-enabled builds abort instead of allowing the public wrapper in libheif/api/libheif/heif_sequences.cc to return null. In release builds, removing the assertion lets the track_id zero path dereference m_tracks.begin()->second on an empty map, which is undefined behavior and typically crashes. The issue is reachable through documented public APIs after parsing attacker-controlled bytes. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1. |

| Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.3.0, an unprivileged, project-confined Incus user (a non-admin TLS/RBAC identity with `can_create_images` and `can_create_instances`) can execute arbitrary code as root on the host. A crafted image ships `backup.yaml` as a symlink to a host file. When the root daemon writes the instance's backup file, it follows the symlink. Version 7.3.0 patches the issue. |

| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). Prior to 0.22.0, an assert-based security check in vLLM's activation function loading allows any unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution on the server by publishing a malicious HuggingFace model, when vLLM runs in Python optimized mode (python -O or PYTHONOPTIMIZE=1). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.22.0. |
| Nix is a package manager for Linux and other Unix systems. Prior to 2.35.0, a malicious derivation executed with the recursive-nix experimental feature can exploit a time-of-check/time-of-use race involving final symlink handling in the LocalStore restore path. The race can cause writeFile to follow a substituted final symlink when opening a path with O_TRUNC instead of enforcing FinalSymlink::DontFollow, allowing the Nix process or nix-daemon to create or truncate an empty file outside the build sandbox with the daemon user's permissions. The primitive does not provide arbitrary-content writes and requires winning the race. This issue is fixed in version 2.35.0. |

| A flaw was found in Ansible Lightspeed. This vulnerability, related to insufficient session expiration, allows a remote attacker to maintain persistent access to the Ansible Lightspeed instance. If an attacker exfiltrates a valid OAuth (Open Authorization) access token before a user logs out, they can continue to authenticate and access sensitive data. This is because the application fails to invalidate the token on the backend, leaving it valid until its natural expiration. This can lead to unauthorized read access to Ansible resources such as inventories, playbooks, and configuration data. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: x86: Ignore pending PV EOI if the vCPU has since disabled PV EOIs
Ignore KVM's internal "service pending PV EOI" request if the vCPU has
disabled PV EOIs since the request was made. Asserting that PV EOIs are
enabled can fail if reading guest memory in pv_eoi_get_user() fails, i.e.
if pv_eoi_test_and_clr_pending() bails early, *and* the vCPU also disables
PV EOIs.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix driver-set TX rates on old devices
On old devices such as 7265D, rates are still encoded in version 1
format, which doesn't use the CCK/OFDM rate index (0-3/0-7) but
rather their PLCP value (e.g. 10 for 1 Mbps CCK rate.)
While introducing v3 rates, I changed the driver from internally
handling v1 rates and converting to v2, to internally handling v3
and converting to v1 or v2 according to the firmware. I accordingly
changed the code in iwl_mvm_mac80211_idx_to_hwrate() to no longer
have different values for different APIs. This was correct.
However, I later reverted this part of the change, because it was
reported that I had broken beacon rates, causing a FW assert/crash.
This caused TX_CMD rates to be set incorrectly, potentially causing
a warning when reported back from the device as having been used.
Fix this (hopefully correctly now) by handling beacon rates in the
TX_CMD that's embedded in the beacon template command separately.
Restore iwl_mvm_mac80211_idx_to_hwrate() to return only the rate
index, not PLCP value, fixing the real TX_CMD. |
