| CVE-2026-68280 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-23 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/bridge: cdns-dsi: Replace deprecated UNIVERSAL_DEV_PM_OPS() The deprecated UNIVERSAL_DEV_PM_OPS() macro uses the provided callbacks for both runtime PM and system sleep. This causes the DSI clocks to be disabled twice: once during runtime suspend and again during system suspend, resulting in a WARN message from the clock framework when attempting to disable already-disabled clocks. [ 84.384540] clk:231:5 already disabled [ 84.388314] WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 531 at /drivers/clk/clk.c:1181 clk_core_disable+0xa4/0xac ... Bridge and panel drivers should only deal with runtime PM, as the DRM framework manages system-wide power transitions through the bridge enable() and disable() hooks. | ||||
| CVE-2026-72368 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-22 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cachefiles: Fix double unlock in nomem_d_alloc error path When start_creating() fails and returns -ENOMEM, it has already released the parent directory lock in __start_dirop(): static struct dentry *__start_dirop(...) { ... inode_lock_nested(dir, I_MUTEX_PARENT); dentry = lookup_one_qstr_excl(name, parent, lookup_flags); if (IS_ERR(dentry)) inode_unlock(dir); <-- Lock released on error return dentry; } However, the nomem_d_alloc error path in cachefiles_get_directory() unconditionally calls inode_unlock(d_inode(dir)) again, causing a double unlock that corrupts the rwsem state. This is a leftover from commit 7ab96df840e60 which replaced manual locking with start_creating() but failed to update the nomem_d_alloc path (while correctly updating mkdir_error and lookup_error paths). | ||||

| CVE-2026-64152 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-17 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu: Handle unmap error when iommu_debug is enabled Sashiko noticed a latent bug where the map error flow called iommu_unmap() which calls iommu_debug_unmap_begin()/iommu_debug_unmap_end() however since this is an error path the map flow never actually established the original iommu_debug_map() it will malfunction. Lift the unmap error handling into iommu_map_nosync() and reorder it so the trace_map()/iommu_debug_map() records the partial mapping and then immediately unmaps it. This avoid creating the unbalanced tracking and provides saner tracing instead of a unmap unmatched to any map. | ||||

| CVE-2026-46009 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: endpoint: pci-epf-ntb: Remove duplicate resource teardown epf_ntb_epc_destroy() duplicates the teardown that the caller is supposed to do later. This leads to an oops when .allow_link fails or when .drop_link is performed. Remove the helper. Also drop pci_epc_put(). EPC device refcounting is tied to configfs EPC group lifetime, and pci_epc_put() in the .drop_link path is sufficient. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43211 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-05-11 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: Fix pci_slot_trylock() error handling Commit a4e772898f8b ("PCI: Add missing bridge lock to pci_bus_lock()") delegates the bridge device's pci_dev_trylock() to pci_bus_trylock() in pci_slot_trylock(), but it forgets to remove the corresponding pci_dev_unlock() when pci_bus_trylock() fails. Before a4e772898f8b, the code did: if (!pci_dev_trylock(dev)) /* <- lock bridge device */ goto unlock; if (dev->subordinate) { if (!pci_bus_trylock(dev->subordinate)) { pci_dev_unlock(dev); /* <- unlock bridge device */ goto unlock; } } After a4e772898f8b the bridge-device lock is no longer taken, but the pci_dev_unlock(dev) on the failure path was left in place, leading to the bug. This yields one of two errors: 1. A warning that the lock is being unlocked when no one holds it. 2. An incorrect unlock of a lock that belongs to another thread. Fix it by removing the now-redundant pci_dev_unlock(dev) on the failure path. [Same patch later posted by Keith at https://patch.msgid.link/20260116184150.3013258-1-kbusch@meta.com] | ||||
| CVE-2026-31756 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-05-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: dwc2: gadget: Fix spin_lock/unlock mismatch in dwc2_hsotg_udc_stop() dwc2_gadget_exit_clock_gating() internally calls call_gadget() macro, which expects hsotg->lock to be held since it does spin_unlock/spin_lock around the gadget driver callback invocation. However, dwc2_hsotg_udc_stop() calls dwc2_gadget_exit_clock_gating() without holding the lock. This leads to: - spin_unlock on a lock that is not held (undefined behavior) - The lock remaining held after dwc2_gadget_exit_clock_gating() returns, causing a deadlock when spin_lock_irqsave() is called later in the same function. Fix this by acquiring hsotg->lock before calling dwc2_gadget_exit_clock_gating() and releasing it afterwards, which satisfies the locking requirement of the call_gadget() macro. | ||||

| CVE-2024-31143 | 1 Xen | 1 Xen | 2026-01-14 | 7.5 High |
| An optional feature of PCI MSI called "Multiple Message" allows a device to use multiple consecutive interrupt vectors. Unlike for MSI-X, the setting up of these consecutive vectors needs to happen all in one go. In this handling an error path could be taken in different situations, with or without a particular lock held. This error path wrongly releases the lock even when it is not currently held. | ||||
