CVE-2026-68766 1 Hashcat 1 Hashcat 2026-08-22 7.8 High
hashcat fails to restrict command-line options when parsing restore files, allowing attackers to inject output-redirecting options like --outfile and --potfile-path. Attackers can craft restore files with malicious options to append attacker-controlled content to arbitrary files, enabling code execution when targeting shell startup files.
CVE-2026-62867 1 Lxc 1 Incus 2026-08-21 9.9 Critical
Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.3.0, improper validation of user-provided `block.create_options` in storage volume configuration leads to argument injection in the constructed filesystem creation command line. This allows a project-scoped user to inject arbitrary arguments into the binary executed as root. Version 7.3.0 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-63046 1 Apache 1 Inlong 2026-08-21 8.8 High
Improper Neutralization of Argument Delimiters in a Command ('Argument Injection') vulnerability in Apache InLong. Agent Installer's ModuleManager executes arbitrary shell commands via ExcuteLinux.exeCmd() with no filtering or whitelist validation. This issue affects Apache InLong: from 2.0.0 before 2.4.0. Users are advised to upgrade to Apache InLong's 2.4.0 or cherry-pick [1]/[2] to solve it. [1]  https://github.com/apache/inlong/pull/12151 . CVE-2026-76220 1 Gitpython Project 1 Gitpython 2026-08-20 8.8 High
GitPython before 3.1.58 contains a command execution vulnerability in the check_unsafe_options guard that can be bypassed by combining a single-character kwarg with split_single_char_options=False. Attackers can supply a crafted kwargs dictionary to guarded methods like clone_from to emit a joined token parsed as --upload-pack, enabling arbitrary OS command execution at default allow_unsafe_options=False.
CVE-2026-76218 2 Gitpython-developers, Gitpython Project 2 Gitpython, Gitpython 2026-08-20 7.5 High
GitPython before 3.1.58 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in Repo.init that forwards unsafe git options without validation. Attackers can supply a template parameter pointing to a directory with malicious git hooks that execute arbitrary code when git operations are performed on the initialized repository.
CVE-2026-48711 1 Libfuse 1 Sshfs 2026-08-20 7 High
SSHFS is a network filesystem client for connecting to SSH servers. From version 1.4 until 3.7.6, SSHFS accepts a bracketed mount source such as [-oProxyCommand=CMD]:/path and find_base_path() removes the brackets, leaving a host value that begins with - and is passed directly to ssh as a command-line argument. When a caller also supplies a path-valued sftp_server, ssh treats the normalized host as an option and the server path as its destination, causing an injected ProxyCommand to execute locally before any connection or authentication succeeds. The attack requires a caller or wrapper that passes an attacker-controlled mount source to SSHFS with the required sftp_server configuration and results in arbitrary command execution as the user running SSHFS. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.6.
CVE-2026-52817 1 Linuxfabrik 1 Monitoring-plugins 2026-08-19 N/A
Linuxfabrik Monitoring Plugins provides monitoring plugins for Icinga, Nagios, and related systems. Prior to version 5.1.0, the shipped assets/sudoers/Debian.sudoers policy allowed the nagios or icinga account to execute /usr/bin/apt-get as root without restricting its arguments. An attacker who already controls that monitoring account can supply the APT::Update::Pre-Invoke option to execute an arbitrary command while apt-get runs with root privileges, resulting in a root shell and complete compromise of the host. The vulnerable rule supports the check-plugins/deb-updates/deb-updates plugin, but it authorized arbitrary apt-get argument sequences rather than only the required apt-get update --quiet 2 command. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.0.
CVE-2026-53783 2 Rsync Project, Samba 2 Rsync, Rsync 2026-08-14 8.1 High
rsync before 3.5.0 contains a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition vulnerability in the rrsync restricted shell wrapper that allows authenticated clients to escape enforced directory restrictions by substituting a symlink for a path component after validation but before transfer processing. Attackers can additionally leverage unrestricted flags such as --copy-unsafe-links, -D, and --log-file through rrsync to read or write files outside the permitted directory subtree.
CVE-2026-66808 2 Hypershift, Microsoft 4 Addon Operator, Sharepoint Server, Sharepoint Server 2016 and 1 more 2026-08-13 8.8 High
Deserialization of untrusted data in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network.
CVE-2026-0774 1 Watchyourlan 1 Watchyourlan 2026-04-18 N/A
WatchYourLAN Configuration Page Argument Injection Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of WatchYourLAN. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the handling of the arpstrs parameter. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied string before using it to execute a system call. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the service account. Was ZDI-CAN-26708.

CVE-2025-59433 1 Git 1 Git 2026-04-15 5.3 Medium
Conventional Changelog generates changelogs and release notes from a project's commit messages and metadata. Prior to version 2.0.0, @conventional-changelog/git-client has an argument injection vulnerability. This vulnerability manifests with the library's getTags() API, which allows extra parameters to be passed to the git log command. In another API by this library, getRawCommits(), there are secure practices taken to ensure that the extra parameter path is unable to inject an argument by ending the git log command with the special shell syntax --. However, the library does not follow the same practice for getTags() as it does not attempt to sanitize for user input, validate the given params, or restrict them to an allow list. Nor does it properly pass command-line flags to the git binary using the double-dash POSIX characters (--) to communicate the end of options. Thus, allowing users to exploit an argument injection vulnerability in Git due to the --output= command-line option that results with overwriting arbitrary files. This issue has been patched in version 2.0.0.

CVE-2025-61731 2 Golang, Gotoolchain 2 Go, Cmd/go 2026-02-06 7.8 High
Building a malicious file with cmd/go can cause can cause a write to an attacker-controlled file with partial control of the file content. The "#cgo pkg-config:" directive in a Go source file provides command-line arguments to provide to the Go pkg-config command. An attacker can provide a "--log-file" argument to this directive, causing pkg-config to write to an attacker-controlled location.
