CVSS v3.1 |
| An authenticated attacker may trigger a stack based buffer overflow by performing a malformed request to either the HTTP service (TCP port 80), the HTTPS service (TCP port 443), or the IPP service (TCP port 631). The malformed request will contain an empty Origin header value and a malformed Referer header value. The Referer header value will trigger a stack based buffer overflow when the host value in the Referer header is processed and is greater than 64 bytes in length. |
| In some cases, the ktrace facility will log the contents of kernel structures to userspace. In one such case, ktrace dumps a variable-sized sockaddr to userspace. There, the full sockaddr is copied, even when it is shorter than the full size. This can result in up to 14 uninitialized bytes of kernel memory being copied out to userspace.
It is possible for an unprivileged userspace program to leak 14 bytes of a kernel heap allocation to userspace. |
| A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco IOS Software and Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to cause an affected device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
This vulnerability is due to a buffer overflow. An attacker with a low-privileged account could exploit this vulnerability by using crafted commands at the CLI prompt. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. |
| The dormakaba registration units 9002 (PIN Pad Units) have an exposed UART header on the backside. The PIN pad is sending every button press to the UART interface. An attacker can use the interface to exfiltrate PINs. As the devices are explicitly built as Plug-and-Play to be easily replaced, an attacker is easily able to remove the device, install a hardware implant which connects to the UART and exfiltrates the data exposed via UART to another system (e.g. via WiFi). |
| OpenZeppelin Contracts is a library for secure smart contract development. Starting in version 5.2.0 and prior to version 5.4.0, the `lastIndexOf(bytes,byte,uint256)` function of the `Bytes.sol` library may access uninitialized memory when the following two conditions hold: 1) the provided buffer length is empty (i.e. `buffer.length == 0`) and position is not `2**256 - 1` (i.e. `pos != type(uint256).max`). The `pos` argument could be used to access arbitrary data outside of the buffer bounds. This could lead to the operation running out of gas, or returning an invalid index (outside of the empty buffer). Processing this invalid result for accessing the `buffer` would cause a revert under normal conditions. When triggered, the function reads memory at offset `buffer + 0x20 + pos`. If memory at that location (outside the `buffer`) matches the search pattern, the function would return an out of bound index instead of the expected `type(uint256).max`. This creates unexpected behavior where callers receive a valid-looking index pointing outside buffer bounds. Subsequent memory accesses that don't check bounds and use the returned index must carefully review the potential impact depending on their setup. Code relying on this function returning `type(uint256).max` for empty buffers or using the returned index without bounds checking could exhibit undefined behavior. Users should upgrade to version 5.4.0 to receive a patch. |
| An unauthenticated attacker who can connect to TCP port 9100 can issue a Printer Job Language (PJL) command that will crash the target device. The device will reboot, after which the attacker can reissue the command to repeatedly crash the device. A malformed PJL variable FORMLINES is set to a non number value causing the target to crash. |
| There is a potential OOB Write vulnerability in the gen_prov_start function in pb_adv.c. The full length of the received data is copied into the link.rx.buf receiver buffer without any validation on the data size. |
| NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could read invalid memory. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to information disclosure. |
| NVIDIA vGPU software for Linux-style hypervisors contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager, where a malicious guest could cause stack buffer overflow. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, or data tampering. |
| A vulnerability was identified in H3C Magic B3 up to 100R002. This affects the function AddMacList/EditMacList of the file /goform/aspForm. The manipulation of the argument param leads to buffer overflow. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| NVIDIA nvJPEG contains a vulnerability in jpeg encoding where a user may cause an out-of-bounds read by providing a maliciously crafted input image with dimensions that cause integer overflows in array index calculations. A successful exploit of this vulnerability may lead to denial of service. |
| NVIDIA nvJPEG library contains a vulnerability where an attacker can cause an out-of-bounds read by means of a specially crafted JPEG file. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to information disclosure or denial of service. |
| NVIDIA Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker might cause an improper index validation by issuing a call with crafted parameters. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to data tampering or denial of service. |
| An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit input validation in cmd services of the devices, allowing them to disrupt system operations and potentially cause a denial-of-service. |
| A vulnerability was found in Netgear WNCE3001 1.0.0.50. It has been classified as critical. This affects the function http_d of the component HTTP POST Request Handler. The manipulation of the argument Host leads to stack-based buffer overflow. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| An out-of-bounds access vulnerability in the loading of ExecuTorch models can cause the runtime to crash and potentially result in code execution or other undesirable effects. This issue affects ExecuTorch prior to commit b6b7a16df5e7852d976d8c34c8a7e9a1b6f7d005. |
| A group of related buffer overflow vulnerabilities in the loading of ExecuTorch models can cause the runtime to crash and potentially result in code execution or other undesirable effects. This issue affects ExecuTorch prior to commit cea9b23aa8ff78aff92829a466da97461cc7930c. |
| Taiko Alethia is an Ethereum-equivalent, permissionless, based rollup designed to scale Ethereum without compromising its fundamental properties. In 2.3.1 and earlier, TaikoInbox._verifyBatches (packages/protocol/contracts/layer1/based/TaikoInbox.sol:627-678) advanced the local tid to whatever transition matched the current blockHash before knowing whether that batch would actually be verified. When the loop later broke (e.g., cooldown window not yet passed or transition invalidated), the function still wrote that newer tid into batches[lastVerifiedBatchId].verifiedTransitionId after decrementing batchId. Result: the last verified batch could end up pointing at a transition index from the next batch (often zeroed), corrupting the verified chain pointer. |
| A flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform's Event-Driven Ansible. In configurations where verbosity is set to "debug", inventory passwords are exposed in plain text when starting a rulebook activation. This issue exists for any "debug" action in a rulebook and also affects Event Streams. |
| Plonky2 is a SNARK implementation based on techniques from PLONK and FRI. Lookup tables, whose length is not divisible by 26 = floor(num_routed_wires / 3) always include the 0 -> 0 input-output pair. Thus a malicious prover can always prove that f(0) = 0 for any lookup table f (unless its length happens to be divisible by 26). The cause of problem is that the LookupTableGate-s are padded with zeros. A workaround from the user side is to extend the table (by repeating some entries) so that its length becomes divisible by 26. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.1. |
