CVSS v3.1 |
| MaaAssistantArknights is a one-click tool for daily Arknights tasks. In the current dev-v2 workflow, .github/workflows/release-preparation.yml inlined attacker-controlled github.event.pull_request.title into a run: shell command during the pull_request opened, reopened, and ready_for_review events, so a non-draft fork PR whose title starts with Release v could execute shell commands on the ubuntu-latest runner during the generate-changelog job. This vulnerability is fixed by commit cafc3946059e6337d2089d4fec8b6885ba17c332. |
| Certain web
interface components in affected TP-Link Aginet devices do not validate and sanitize user-supplied input properly before
passing it to system-level command execution functions. An authenticated adjacent attacker may inject
specially crafted input to execute arbitrary operation system commands with
elevated privileges.
Successful
exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary system commands, potentially
leading to full device compromise. |
| Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may cause OOB kernel memory reads or writes through GPU API calls.
When indexing pages larger than 4kB in the page freeing logic of the sparse memory implementation, incorrect buffer indexing leads to OOB access. |
| Improper validation of length fields in the Apache IoTDB RPC service may allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service. By sending a crafted malformed Thrift frame, an attacker can cause IoTDB to allocate an excessive amount of memory and crash with an OutOfMemoryError.
This issue affects Apache IoTDB: before 1.3.8, from 2.0.0 before 2.0.9.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.10, which fixes the issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vsock/vmci: fix UAF when peer resets connection during handshake
vmci_transport_recv_connecting_server() returned err = 0 for a peer
RST in its default switch arm:
err = pkt->type == VMCI_TRANSPORT_PACKET_TYPE_RST ? 0 : -EINVAL;
That made vmci_transport_recv_listen() skip vsock_remove_pending(),
leaving the pending socket on the listener's pending_links with
sk_state = TCP_CLOSE while destroy: still dropped the explicit
reference taken before schedule_delayed_work().
One second later vsock_pending_work() observed is_pending=true and
performed full cleanup: vsock_remove_pending() then the two trailing
sock_put(sk) calls -- the first reached refcount 0 and __sk_freed
the socket, and the second wrote into the freed object:
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in refcount_warn_saturate
Write of size 4 at addr ffff88800b1cac80 by task kworker
Workqueue: events vsock_pending_work
Treat peer RST like any other unexpected packet type (err = -EINVAL).
All destroy: arms now return err < 0, so vmci_transport_recv_listen()
removes pending from pending_links synchronously and
vsock_pending_work() takes the is_pending=false / !rejected branch,
dropping only its own work reference. This also closes the
multi-packet race Sashiko reported on v2: pending is removed from
the list before any subsequent packet can find it.
The pre-existing sk_acceptq_removed() gap on the err < 0 path of
vmci_transport_recv_listen() that Sashiko also noted is not
introduced or changed by this patch.
Tested on lts-6.12.79 with KASAN: 52/100 unpatched -> 0/100 patched. |
| The userspace verifier z_vrfy_log_filter_set() for the log_filter_set syscall in subsys/logging/log_mgmt.c performed a signed comparison against the int16_t src_id parameter: src_id < (int16_t)log_src_cnt_get(domain_id). Any negative value for src_id (e.g. -1) trivially satisfied this check and was forwarded into z_impl_log_filter_set, where it propagated to filter_set() and ultimately to get_dynamic_filter(), which uses source_id as an unsigned index into the linker-section array &TYPE_SECTION_START(log_dynamic)[source_id].filters.
After implicit conversion through uint32_t, an int16_t -1 becomes 0xFFFFFFFF, indexing log_dynamic far out of bounds and causing the kernel to perform an OOB read and an OOB read-modify-write (LOG_FILTER_SLOT_GET/SET) against memory adjacent to the log_dynamic section.
The written value is a constrained 3-bit log level slot within the targeted 32-bit word, but the target address is attacker-chosen (a small negative offset from log_dynamic) and the write occurs in supervisor mode following a syscall from an unprivileged user thread, providing a kernel memory-corruption / privilege-escalation primitive.
The defect is reachable on any build with CONFIG_USERSPACE=y and CONFIG_LOG_RUNTIME_FILTERING=y. Present from Zephyr v3.3.0 through v4.4.1. The fix replaces the signed bound check with an unsigned comparison: (uint32_t)src_id < log_src_cnt_get(domain_id), which correctly rejects negative inputs. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in an os command ('os command injection') in Visual Studio Code allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| An issue in MongoDB Server's handling of timeseries collections could allow an authenticated user with write privileges to cause an internal data structure to become inconsistent through certain document insertions. A subsequent insert into the affected bucket could then result in the server accessing memory outside its intended bounds, potentially causing a server crash (denial of service), exposure of limited memory contents, or memory corruption. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ip6_tunnel: clear skb2->cb[] in ip4ip6_err()
Oskar Kjos reported the following problem.
ip4ip6_err() calls icmp_send() on a cloned skb whose cb[] was written
by the IPv6 receive path as struct inet6_skb_parm. icmp_send() passes
IPCB(skb2) to __ip_options_echo(), which interprets that cb[] region
as struct inet_skb_parm (IPv4). The layouts differ: inet6_skb_parm.nhoff
at offset 14 overlaps inet_skb_parm.opt.rr, producing a non-zero rr
value. __ip_options_echo() then reads optlen from attacker-controlled
packet data at sptr[rr+1] and copies that many bytes into dopt->__data,
a fixed 40-byte stack buffer (IP_OPTIONS_DATA_FIXED_SIZE).
To fix this we clear skb2->cb[], as suggested by Oskar Kjos.
Also add minimal IPv4 header validation (version == 4, ihl >= 5). |
| Heap buffer overflow in ANGLE in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 150.0.7871.46 allowed a remote attacker to perform out of bounds memory access via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Heap buffer overflow in WebNN in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
phy: qcom: qmp-usbc: Fix out-of-bounds array access in dp swing config
swing_tbl and pre_emphasis_tbl are 4x4 arrays (valid indices 0-3), but
the boundary check uses "> 4" instead of ">= 4", allowing index 4 to
cause an out-of-bounds access. |
| Use after free in Aura in Google Chrome on Linux prior to 151.0.7922.109 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iommu/amd: Remove latent out-of-bounds access in IOMMU debugfs
In iommu_mmio_write() and iommu_capability_write(), the variables
dbg_mmio_offset and dbg_cap_offset are declared as int. However, they
are populated using kstrtou32_from_user(). If a user provides a
sufficiently large value, it can become a negative integer.
Prior to this patch, the AMD IOMMU debugfs implementation was already
protected by different mechanisms.
1. #define OFS_IN_SZ 8 ensures the user string <= 8 bytes, so
e.g. 0xffffffff isn't a valid input.
if (cnt > OFS_IN_SZ)
return -EINVAL;
2. Implicit type promotion in iommu_mmio_write(), dbg_mmio_offset is int
and iommu->mmio_phys_end is u64
if (dbg_mmio_offset > iommu->mmio_phys_end - sizeof(u64))
return -EINVAL;
3. The show handlers would currently catch the negative number and
refuse to perform the read.
Replace kstrtou32_from_user() with kstrtos32_from_user() to parse the
input, and check for negative values to explicitly prevent out-of-bounds
memory accesses directly in iommu_mmio_write() and
iommu_capability_write(). |
| A vulnerability in the Transport Layer Security (TLS) library of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to trigger a reload of the affected device, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a malicious TLS message to an interface enabled for Secure Layer Socket (SSL) services on an affected device. Messages using SSL Version 3 (SSLv3) or SSL Version 2 (SSLv2) cannot be be used to exploit this vulnerability. An exploit could allow the attacker to cause a buffer underflow, triggering a crash on an affected device. This vulnerability affects Cisco ASA Software and Cisco FTD Software that is running on the following Cisco products: Adaptive Security Virtual Appliance (ASAv), Firepower Threat Defense Virtual (FTDv), Firepower 2100 Series Security Appliance. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCve18902, CSCve34335, CSCve38446. |
| A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to perform a command injection attack. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting commands into arguments for a specific command. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands with root privileges. |
| A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software and Cisco FXOS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system as root.
This vulnerability is due to improper input validation for specific CLI commands. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting operating system commands into a legitimate command. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to escape the restricted command prompt and execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system. To successfully exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need valid Administrator credentials. |
| A vulnerability in the Sourcefire tunnel control channel protocol in Cisco Firepower System Software running on Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) sensors could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute specific CLI commands with root privileges on the Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC), or through Cisco FMC on other Firepower sensors and devices that are controlled by the same Cisco FMC. To send the commands, the attacker must have root privileges for at least one affected sensor or the Cisco FMC. The vulnerability exists because the affected software performs insufficient checks for certain CLI commands, if the commands are executed via a Sourcefire tunnel connection. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating with root privileges to a Firepower sensor or Cisco FMC, and then sending specific CLI commands to the Cisco FMC or through the Cisco FMC to another Firepower sensor via the Sourcefire tunnel connection. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to modify device configurations or delete files on the device that is running Cisco FMC Software or on any Firepower device that is managed by Cisco FMC. |
| A vulnerability in the generic routing encapsulation (GRE) tunnel decapsulation feature of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to a memory handling error that occurs when GRE traffic is processed. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted GRE payload through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to restart, resulting in a DoS condition.
