CVSS v3.1 |
| microtar's mtar_write_file_header and mtar_write_dir_header functions (src/microtar.c) copy a caller-supplied entry name into the 100-byte field of a stack-allocated mtar_header_t via strcpy(h.name, name), with no check that strlen(name) is less than 100 before the copy. |
| tinyobjloader-c's tinyobj_parse_and_index_mtl_file (tinyobj_loader_c.h) reads each line of a .mtl material file into a fixed 4096-byte stack buffer via memcpy(linebuf, p, p_len), guarded only by . The identical vulnerable pattern is duplicated in a second function in the same file. |
| Domoticz's MochadTCP::MatchLine handler for MOCHAD_RFSEC messages (hardware/MochadTCP.cpp) copies network-received data from the up-to-1028-byte m_mochadbuffer into a fixed 50-byte stack buffer tempRFSECbuf using strcpy with no length check, across three separate code branches (DS10A/KR10A/MS10A device types). |
| dr_libs dr_wav.h (all versions through current master) contains an integer overflow in W64 CUE chunk metadata parsing. In drwav__metadata_process_chunk, a stage-1 capacity estimate truncates the 64-bit W64 chunk sizeInBytes to size_t before dividing by DRWAV_CUE_POINT_BYTES; on 32-bit builds this truncation causes the pre-allocated extra metadata capacity to be computed incorrectly. |
| ESPHome through 2026.7.0-dev contains an operator-precedence bug in the cv.url validator in esphome/config_validation.py. Because binds tighter than , any file: URI passes validation regardless of netloc. This validator gates the field of the external_components YAML directive's git source schema, which is passed to (git supports file:// natively). |
| nanoMODBUS through v1.23.0 contains an out-of-bounds stack read leading to a wild-pointer write in nmbs_read_device_identification_basic / recv_read_device_identification_res in nanomodbus.c. A fixed 3-element stack array order[3] = {0,1,2} maps object IDs to buffer indices. The server-supplied object_id field (0-255, read directly from the wire) is used without any bounds check as buf_index = order[object_id]. |
| DjangoCRM's massmail module renders user-controlled EmlMessage fields (subject, content) through Django's Template constructor with no sanitization, in at least three locations: message_previews.py builds an f-string embedding message.subject/message.content directly into a Template call; email_creators.py passes eml_message.subject directly as a template string to Template; and helpers.py contains the same f-string interpolation pattern. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netconsole: avoid OOB reads, msg is not nul-terminated
msg passed to netconsole from the console subsystem is not guaranteed
to be nul-terminated. Before recent
commit 7eab73b18630 ("netconsole: convert to NBCON console infrastructure")
the message would be placed in printk_shared_pbufs, a static global
buffer, so KASAN had harder time catching OOB accesses. Now we see:

| CTI-Transmute contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability caused by insufficient neutralization of Vue template expression delimiters in server-rendered user-controlled data.
An unauthenticated attacker can create a public conversion whose name or description contains a malicious Vue expression using the application's configured [[ ... ]] delimiters. User profile names may provide an additional injection vector. Although Jinja HTML escaping is applied, the resulting value is subsequently included in a DOM region compiled by Vue.
Vue interprets the attacker-controlled value as a template expression rather than ordinary text. By accessing the JavaScript Function constructor from within the expression, an attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the security context of the CTI-Transmute origin. The application's nonce-based Content Security Policy does not prevent exploitation because the Vue runtime compiler requires the unsafe-eval policy exception.
The malicious payload is stored by the application and executed whenever another user opens an affected page, such as the public conversion detail page. The victim may be a normal user or an administrator. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to:
* Access data available to the victim through the application.
* Extract API keys, tokens, or other sensitive information exposed to the page.
* Perform authenticated actions using the victim's session.
* Modify conversions or other application data.
* Escalate the impact by targeting an administrator.
A demonstrated payload can use [].constructor.constructor(...) to obtain the JavaScript Function constructor and execute arbitrary code. The regression tests also show that a short first-stage payload could retrieve an uncapped conversion description and evaluate a larger second-stage payload.
The patch addresses the vulnerability by registering a global Jinja finalize hook that inserts a zero-width Unicode word joiner inside every Vue delimiter found in server-rendered values. This prevents Vue from recognizing the values as template expressions while preserving their visible representation. |
| A flaw was found in p11-kit. A local attacker, or one with equivalent access to a reachable RPC channel, could exploit an integer overflow vulnerability. By sending specially crafted messages, the attacker can cause the system to miscalculate memory allocation for nested attributes. This leads to a memory corruption issue, specifically a heap out-of-bounds write, which can crash the p11-kit RPC parsing process, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). This vulnerability is only exploitable on 32 bit systems. |
| A vulnerability in the zip archive parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper boundary checks for content in zip files during scanning, which may result in an out-of-bounds write condition. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted zip file for scanning. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software. |
| A vulnerability in the PDF file format parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition or possibly other expanded impacts as a result of memory corruption on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper boundary checks for content in PDF files during scanning, which may result in an out-of-bounds buffer read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted PDF file to be scanned by ClamAV on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software. |
| A vulnerability in the Mach-O file format parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition or possibly other expanded impacts as a result of memory corruption on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper boundary checks for content in Mach-O files during scanning, which may result in an out-of-bounds buffer read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted Mach-O file to be scanned by ClamAV on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software. |
| A vulnerability in the PESpin file format parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition or possibly other expanded impacts as a result of memory corruption on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper boundary checks for content in PESpin files during scanning, which may result in an integer overflow. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted file that contains PESpin content to be scanned by ClamAV on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software. |
| A vulnerability in the GPT file format parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition or possibly other expanded impacts as a result of memory corruption on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper handling of an endian conversion operation, which may result in an out-of-bounds buffer write. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted GPT file to be scanned by ClamAV on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software. |
| Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.12.34, the built-in CORS middleware, hono/cors, is vulnerable to a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS). During a preflight OPTIONS request, the middleware parses the attacker-controlled Access-Control-Request-Headers header using a whitespace-tolerant regular expression whose backtracking makes its running time quadratic in the input length. Because the header value is bounded only by the deployment's maximum HTTP header size, a single preflight carrying a long run of whitespace can consume seconds of CPU and block request processing. On runtimes that share one execution thread across requests, this stalls concurrent requests as well, and repeated requests can render the service unresponsive. This affects the default configuration, since the vulnerable path is reached whenever cors() is used with an unset or empty allowHeaders. Applications that set a non-empty allowHeaders are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.12.34. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: fix fils_discovery double free on alloc failure
ieee80211_set_fils_discovery() calls kfree_rcu() on the old template
before allocating the replacement. If the kzalloc() then fails, it
returns -ENOMEM while link->u.ap.fils_discovery still points at the
object already queued for freeing. A later update or AP teardown
(ieee80211_stop_ap()) re-queues that same rcu_head; the second free is
caught by KASAN when the RCU sheaf is processed in softirq:
BUG: KASAN: double-free in rcu_free_sheaf (mm/slub.c:5850)

handle_softirqs (kernel/softirq.c:622)
The buggy address belongs to the cache kmalloc-96 of size 96
Queue the old object for kfree_rcu() only after the new one is published,
matching ieee80211_set_probe_resp() and ieee80211_set_s1g_short_beacon(). |
